I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is a slow burn romance story where the characters will have you coming back for more. I enjoyed how this author used her writing skills to bring the characters to life. This is Jamie and Eli's story. Their story is engaging and hard to put down. They have great chemistry and attraction. I enjoyed both of them and their supporting characters and what they brought to the story. They have great growth throughout which made their story easy and entertaining to read. This is a story you don't want to miss. I really enjoyed reading this story and I highly recommend it.

I have no clue what the hell happened in this book...one minute they are together than they arnt, it's been a week but no wait it's been a month then a few days, go to bed one night happy nothing bad has happened but wake up like they've had an in depth intense talk the night before I felt like I'd skipped some chapters. how can the relationship be such a mindfuck when they've only just got together.

I liked the storyline, but it was just a bit too wordy for my taste. There were lengthy descriptions of how the characters were feeling, instead of actual interactions between the characters. For me, it was just ok. Others might love it.

I wished I could have rated this book higher. Based on the cover and blurb, I was expecting steamy, emotional, and a heart wrenching story. What I got was confusion on who was speaking, Jamie’s internal dialogue started to get on my nerves and incomplete sentences/thoughts kept me from enjoying the story. Some of the scenes were steamy and enjoyable. It left me wanting. Very disappointed if this was AI written. Too many amazing authors and cover models out there to use AI. I might give this author one more chance. 🤷‍♀️

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from Hidden Gems.

The intimate scenes in Stayed for Him are written with such intensity and tenderness, they feel electric. Jude Wilder captures that rare magic where physical closeness is not just about passion, but about connection, healing, and trust.

Jamie and Eli’s relationship begins through subtle glances and gentle conversations. But over time, it grows into something deeply meaningful. When their bond turns physical, it feels honest.

The writing handles these moments with care and emotion—never overdone, always authentic.
