What I loved: I liked how Saint(H) shut down the gentleman’s club and took care of the man running it along with the roommate and her boyfriend.
What I didn’t like: I didn’t like how after Jade(h), a virgin, was sold by her roommate, held against her will and made to be auction off decided to have sex with Saint the same night he rescued her. She was scared and didn’t know if she could trust him but still thinks it’s a great idea to have sex with him…..It was just too far fetched.
***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: kidnapping, virgin h, MC. h goes for an interview that her roommate set her up with at a gentleman’s club. When she gets there she finds out she was set up by the roommate and she is to be auctioned off for her virginity against her will. H, who is the president of a MC, goes to the club to get a guy that set up his club. When he get there he sees the h on the stage being sold off. H seeing how upset the h is, purchases her to save her. Once he gets in the back room with the h, he has his men set up a diversion so he can get the h out. H and h go to his place. h having no where else to go stays with the H and they start a sexual relationship that same night. The H and h have an insta love connection and he basically claims her right away. When H is dealing with club business the h’s roommate finds her and kidnaps her. Finding out that she is no longer a virgin, they call the H for ransom money. H comes and handles them. H and h get their HEA with them getting married.
Final thoughts: This book was just an ok read for me. At least it was a quick read.

too many typos & incorrect words ( whose vs who has ) kept distracting me from the extremely improbable premise

An Unlikely Protector
Jade is very naive and when set up by her roommate she finds herself at a club about to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Lucky for her Saint, who happens to be the President of the Steel Order MC, is there and bids on her and is looking to shut this club down. The MC is not about trafficking women especially when it happening in their territory.
I loved the OTT romance with Saint and Jade and this new book in the series is off to a great start.

Protected by Saint is Book 1 of the Steel Rebels MC series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, damsel in distress, virgin gets her biker MC romance. Saint is the 35 year old hunky and ruthless president of the Steel Order MC. Jade is a 21 year old sweet and innocent college student who is tricked by a "friend" into thinking she's going to a job interview but is really being sold at an auction. Saint and Knox are there trying to pick up someone who owes them money when Saint sees Jade and knows he needs to save her. He wins her at the auction and takes her home. Can he keep her safe? Their chemistry was smoldering, and the ending was happy after some danger and angst. I loved it and can't wait for more books in this series.

This is the first story of a new series and it's free 😄 Jade is a college student that needs to make a bit more money and searches for a part time gig as a waitress. But her roommate doesn't send her to a job interview for waitressing, but for a virgin auction and when she wants to leave they won't let her. Saint is the president of the Steel Rebels MC and when he sees who and what gets auctioned off all heck breaks loose and Saint saves his future Old Lady/wife. But Jade is still in danger and Saint does everything to protect her. Instalove, OTT obsessed hero, age gap, sweet, steamy, romantic , with action and safe with a sweet HEA 😍😍😍😍 can't wait to read about Blaze 😏

Jade is young and innocent, when a job interview is anything but, it is Saint the is in the right place to save her.

Saint & Jade: triggers- sex trafficking, kidnapping. you know, a book this short really shouldn't have so many grammatical errors, repetitive words etc. . the concept was interesting for an insta lust story. I won't call that love because they never have a really conversation about anything other than sex. the way it's written is so unrealistic it makes paranormal books seem real. I mean, they're just gonna stay in the room because you said so, not tied up, not unconscious just there, while you bang your girlfriend, and not try to escape. WHO DOES THAT? in what world .. and that is not the only example. waste of time.

Jade's character is so relatable, and I feel for her. She's strong in her own way and sweet! Saint is a literal knight in shining armour - AND SO HAWT - and falls under her spell pretty instantly. He carries an aura of danger, charm, and possessiveness. Their relationship dynamic is intense and so scrumptious! And just the way he wants to protect her from all the chaos is heartwarming - he's perfect for her, strong and handsome, feared and respected by all. They make such a perfect couple, and I am cheering for them as a die-hard fan.
This is the first book in the Steel Rebels MC series, and let me just say, I enjoyed reading this more than I thought I would. It's a short novella, spicy and romantic, has angst and danger, past trauma, is fast-paced, a swoon-worthy MMC and an damsel-in-distress FMC, sizzling chemistry and a sweet ending. It's a dark, gritty, and addictive world, and I am hooked.

Jade's character is so relatable, and I feel for her. She's strong in her own way and sweet! Saint is a literal knight in shining armour - AND SO HAWT - and falls under her spell pretty instantly. He carries an aura of danger, charm, and possessiveness. Their relationship dynamic is intense and so scrumptious! And just the way he wants to protect her from all the chaos is heartwarming - he's perfect for her, strong and handsome, feared and respected by all. They make such a perfect couple, and I am cheering for them as a die-hard fan.
This is the first book in the Steel Rebels MC series, and let me just say, I enjoyed reading this more than I thought I would. It's a short novella, spicy and romantic, has angst and danger, past trauma, is fast-paced, a swoon-worthy MMC and an damsel-in-distress FMC, sizzling chemistry and a sweet ending. It's a dark, gritty, and addictive world, and I am hooked.

As with any OTT adventure there will be times you might find yourself thinking, there's no way that anyone would get turned on over being rescued from kidnappers b/c the hero looked soo hot kicking down doors and yeah, let's get down and dirty right NOW.🚪😂😂 Can't deny Jade!!
I can deal with some squirrely action a couple of times but if it keeps repeating itself, then the story becomes a different reading experience. The book started out well enough full of intrigue and plot twists. Jade, a naive 21yr old, was going for an interview set up by her roommate and 'friend'. Not exactly. She's to be auctioned off at a club to the highest bidder. Human trafficking full force. Enter the dangerous and attractive Saint, Prez of the Steel Rebels MC, who has a score to settle with a rat and ends up buying, not buying, the sweet nervous Jade. Saint's older, he's 35. And despite being afraid, as she should be, Jade does the exact opposite of what you might expect her to, that girl did everything to entice.🫢 And if you want intense rough steam then this book has you covered.🌋🥵🌋🥵🌋 There's plenty to be found here!!! Jade may come across as sweet, but no. Not really. Especially around Knox, the right hand man of Saint. Jade was rude and sarcastic. Where was this side of her when dealing with all that club trauma and afterwards?🤷♀️🤷🏻♂️ I liked Knox. He was funny buttercup.😜😜
Midway through, the plot started to lose momentum. As if it didn't know what to do. Jade never called her father, bad heart was no excuse. Or anyone. She got annoyed that she had "neglected enough of my life by playing house with Saint." Yeppers! But she had been afraid to be found by the creepy Buck and his goons, right? Jade was often spacey. She acted weird. When she found out Saint was in a well known club, that upset her more than anything. Saint's a bad man. He hurts people. She saw the Chicago news.😭😭 Girll. Are you serious right now.🙄 Then I guess you should have recognized Saint's face that first night. I didn't understand that part of the story. And we still didn't get a full backstory with Saint either. He pretty much confessed some things. Then it was never brought up again. Maybe it will be in other books of the series? The kidnapping. How did anyone know where the notorious Saint lived beside members of his club? I figured that would be a need to know basis. With extra guards. Not just for any sleazeball to walk up to.😬
I enjoyed Saint. How could I not like this man? He was overprotective, kind, tried to do the right thing, willing to do anything, and was completely under Jade's spell. He was emotionally linked and it came across the page.😘😘 Jade, there's something about her. I didn't feel she was developed enough as a character. The world building was there it just seemed to lose energy halfway through. If you like insta OTT stories then you should definitely read this one. The book cover is very cool. Okay, so Protected by Saint? Y’all, this book had me hooked from the very first page. I was immediately sucked into the world of the Steel Rebels MC, and let me tell you, Cassi Hart knows exactly how to deliver that raw, adrenaline-pumping, alpha-male energy that makes you wanna keep reading through the night.
Jade—bless her heart—starts off in a nightmare. I mean, the girl’s just trying to survive and ends up in a situation where she’s being auctioned off by scumbags. The last thing she expects is Saint, the president of the Steel Rebels, to swoop in like a literal knight in leather and save her. But that’s what he does—only, Saint’s no white knight. He’s a powerhouse who makes it clear that he’ll take down anyone who tries to hurt what’s his. And yes, Jade? She’s his.
Now, can we talk about Saint for a second? I mean, wow. He’s all brooding, intense, and has that I’m-not-going-to-let-anyone-touch-what’s-mine vibe that just oozes danger. He’s not your typical sweet guy—nope. But when he sets his sights on Jade? It’s game over. I loved how protective he was without being overbearing. The whole “I’ll take care of you” thing hits different when it's this intense. And the way he pulls her into his world? Whew. That magnetic chemistry between them was on fire.
Jade herself is such a relatable heroine—strong but vulnerable, sweet but not naive. Her inner conflict about falling for Saint is real, and it makes their dynamic so deliciously tense. Jade is a struggling college student that is just about keeping her head above water, so when her roommate Natalie says that she knows of a club that are looking for servers, and as it is in the evenings it would be perfect. Natalie even goes as far as to get her ready for her interview, but this is no normal job interview, and she is there under false pretences. Realising that she is about to be sold to the highest bidder for her virginity and she has no way of escape, Jade stands on that stage terrified of her fate but everything changes when her eyes lock with a man who looks dangerous but makes her feel safe, and he his bidding on her. When they are finally alone and he introduces himself as Saint and promises her that she is safe with him and he will do everything he has to, to get her out of the hell she found herself in. Can she really trust this man with her life and as it happens her heart too?
Saint is President of the Steel Rebels MC and a man that all of Chicago know not to cross, and that was the only reason he and his second in command Knox were at the auction, to finally get their hands on the corrupt cop that had stolen from them. He wasn’t expecting to see his future on for sale to he highest bidder, her fear is radiating off her and he is ready to go to war for her, the only way that he is walking out of that club is with her. Leaving Knox to deal with the fallout of club he takes Jade to his home, promising that he will protect her no matter what. The moment she put her hand in his was the moment that she became his. But Saint has yet to tell her who he truly is and he is worried that the truth could send her running for the hills. Can Saint prove to Jade that he is more than the President of a biker group and his love is real and can he really keep her safe from the danger she is in but has no idea about?
Loved this book the story flows perfectly and the chemistry between Jade and Saint is downright sinful. Recommended read 5*

Jade is a twenty-one-year-old art history major. Needing some extra cash, she allows her roommate, Natalie, to arrange a job interview for her for a job at a club as a server. In a way it surprised her that Natalie had done so. When they first met, Natalie was standoffish until recently.
Saint earned that name for his patience. Unlike how his father was and many members of the Steel Rebels MC are, he can control his temper, usually. Now he's the president of the club after the death of his father. He runs the club very differently than his father did and how the majority of clubs still do. He has the persistence to take his time until he gleans the information he's seeking.
He's shown up at the club that night looking for police Lieutenant Derrick Halpin. He'd taken money from Saint to overlook an arms deal, only to sell out to a rival MC for a cut of the profits. Then there was a big crime fighter splash in the news, Halpin received a promotion, and he received millions from the rival club. If Halpin had told Saint no, he wouldn't be a hunted man now.
He and Knox are about to leave since they had confirmed that Halpin was still alive when the main event of the evening begins.
Jade was shocked to learn that there is no server's job available at the club. She also isn't free to leave. She's even more surprised to learn that Natalie had sold her to the club to be auctioned as a special attraction, a virgin!
Saint isn't going to allow her to leave with anyone but him. He also vows that those responsible for her being there will pay for it. No matter how long it may take...

Jade thinks that she is interviewing for a job that will allow her to go to college and still pay the bills. Oh wow! This is one oh so very hot ebook that you definitely should not miss. Jade's roommate helps her get ready for an interview. She wonders why the tight black dress but trusts her roommate. Unfortunately she trusted the wrong person and ends up in a private auction. Saint is there looking for someone who owes his MC Club money. He sees a gorgeous young woman on stage and is instantly smitten. Jade has no clue what's going to happen to her especially when she is rescued by Saint a striking tattooed man. Right away their chemistry is boiling hot and the passion is so unbelievably combustible. Will Jade and Saint weather any storm together or will all of the problems facing the MC Club keep them at a distance? Can Jade overlook what Saint has done in the name of his MC Club and can she give him her heart for protection? Does Saint rescue Jade in time and does he let her know that she's forever his? Jade is trying to pay her way through college history major but in need of extra cash living with a roommate who isn’t the most friendliest in fact she was pretty borderline rude on a good day so it came as a surprise to her when she offered to arrange a job interview at a club for her and she didn’t know what she was getting herself into until it was too late. Saint sexy as all get out President MC their reputation proceeds them, he is known for controlling his temper, he is on a mission to find a Lieutenant who double crossed him in the worse way, confirming that he is still alive, and just when they are about to leave the main even begins. Protected by Saint is a suspenseful and page turning MC romance. The story is beautifully written, well balanced and perfectly executed by Cassi Hart. She continues to create and write phenomenal romances that I absolutely enjoy reading. I can’t wait to see what her next book will be about. Protected by Saint follows the story of Jade and Saint. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between these two characters is undeniably irresistible and absolutely breathtaking. I thoroughly adored getting to know both Jade and Saint as well as witnessing the feelings they have for one another grow stronger as their story progresses forward. I couldn’t get enough of their story and was saddened when it came to an end because I didn’t want it to. I would most certainly give this book as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read. Protected by Saint is captivating from start to finish, entertaining and an enjoyable MC romance.

This is the first story in the new "Steel Rebels MC" series. It touches on some dark subject matter but is also sweet and steamy with danger and violence. The story is about Jade and Saint. She is an innocent and naive young lady, who thinks she is going for a waitressing job. As soon as she gets there, things seem a little strange, then she realizes "Natalie" is no friend of hers. The hard cold truth is revealed to Jade and she trusted the wrong person. Saint and Knox are in the club, disguised in "monkey suits" and looking for a man that owes them. As soon as they spot him, everything goes quiet and a man comes on stage. Knox and Saint are shocked when they find out was is going down. Saint is immediately drawn to witnesses a young lady being manhandled and has to be pulled away from the scene. His friend reminds him that he cannot save them all. He ends up in a shady area wondering why he is there. He is drawn to the women and furious enough to act. This is an intriguing story that might start out shady but ends tenderly, lovingly and very steamy.

He is there for a dirty cop. He doesn’t intend to participate in the auction, but when he sees her on the stage, clearly terrified, he knows he has to take her. She thought she was applying for a waitressing job only to find out. It was a virginity auction, and her roommate sold her out. When the handsome but slightly scary man rescues her she isn’t sure what to do, but quickly realizes she is attracted to the handsome stranger. Things get hot and steamy with these two real quick. There is some MC drama to navigate, but they are able to find their way to a happily ever after. This is a quick read, a short story format, so you do not expect to get overly detailed character development or complex plot lines. This one is pretty quick some Insta love on both of their parts though he falls first. It’s an enjoyable quick read for those days when you don’t have time to dive into a deep plot.

Wow – what a spicy, bad boy, protector in Cassi Hart’s, “Protected by Saint”. I was engaged from the start with this MC Club romance and couldn’t put it down. This insta-love, “lite MC” short read is a well-written combination of grit, danger, attraction, steam, loyalty, intrigue, and brotherhood. The main characters are likeable (even with Jade’s unsuspecting naivety and Saint’s (Pres of MC) sometimes questionable actions. As a couple, they do evolve with their attraction and emotional connection with one another. I loved the wonderful characters and the sense of community of the characters and within the MC brotherhood. I recommend Protected by Saint, Book 1 of Steel Rebels MC series. It is an excellent start to the series.
