Keeping My Prince Charming

Rate this book
Is Xavier Van Romerius really a Prince Charming?

When Lola Franklin traveled to Romerius with her former professor, Xavier, she had no idea what to expect. While she found herself falling for him, she wasn’t sure how he felt about her. As secrets are revealed and jealousies are exposed, Lola is caught up in a web of love and sex that confuses and excites her.

When Lola and Xavier are both put to the test, neither of them know what will happen next. Will Xavier turn out to be Lola’s Prince Charming or will another Prince capture her attention and win her heart?

Keeping My Prince Charming is the final book in the Prince Charming series. It should be read after Finding My Prince Charming and Taming My Prince Charming.

I have now read the book and all I can think how stupid it was. You could really feel that the author did not know how to finish the book.

------------------------

Okey I have thought about it and fine I will read the whole book when it comes out. I don't like not to finish books, and I kinda want to know how this series will end.
But I bet I need to wait for the full release of the book for about a year or two before it will happen.

------------------------

I am so done with this book. I read the first part and I hated it but I wanted to give the rest of the book a chance. I have now waited forever and to be honest I don't think we will get the rest in a LONG time. So screw this book...

------------------------

this will be the last book I will read by J.S Cooper. I can understand why the release date will change but when I see the author are releasing 500 different books when your fans are screaming for this book just pisses me off.

AND again a new release date. I am actually starting to think we will never get this book.

------------------------

Like many other fans of this series we've waited a very long time to get the final book. Quite frankly I wish I hadn't bothered. Even though I received it free as a subscriber to the authors newsletter.
I vaguely remembered what had gone before in the two previous books. But I had no intention of rereading them. I found the premise of this story was so far beyond the bounds of credibility that I just couldn't relate to either the characters or the situations they were in. Apparently a group of royal princes are actually the ones who rule the world. They're a bit like a committee, how are they chosen? Well that's easy, they take their woman to a ball where's she's blindfolded and different men who are vying for a place on the inner circle kiss or touch them or more and they must correctly guess which one is their man or he's out. So basically it's a sex game.
Seriously! I've not often read a story that was such rubbish

Uhm
When I first saw the first book, I immediately liked the title and the cover. It was so innocent!
But *Laugh psychotically* this trilogy is NOT INNOCENT at all

Maybe the girl, Lola is, well she is very naive, stupid even...very freaking stupid. At that age, she's sure is clueless about men and their lusty ways, especially rich butts. "What is happening?" "what are doing?" "why?" "What?" God that was irritating. I don't know if she was in denial of the situations, or she is too freaking stupid or freaked out to see that these 'gentlemen' is here to USE HER AND FUCK HER! That was a sick, sadistic world, cringe-worthy even. I just have four words when I think of Casper, Stephan, Violetta and all these hoards of boars; VOMIT IN MY MOUTH!

I can understand why Lola was confused, this was not her world at all, but any sane woman would ran away... leaving bags and all, RUN THE HELL AWAY! No matter how Xavier is yummilicious, he's an asshole prince. If you love a woman that much you don't bring her to sex games, call me an old fashioned broad but prince or not, who the hell does he think he is?! This is the rhetorical question that I was waiting for Lola to say. But no, sometime she knows all this situation is messed up but still she loves her Xavier, she wants to keep her prince, her tamed prince. Seriously?!

Lucky for her, she gets what she wants. You know all love know some obstacles and tests, but these tests in this book are just staggering and rabid. Treating women like objects, some may qualify this as being modern, "it's just body"- Like Violetta treats her body. Sick
By the end, you see Lola grew up, toughen up too and good for her because she's marrying a prince surrounded by Vipers.

I hope it's the last book, I don't think I would be able to read more on this. No more, I don't hate the book, but enough! Let them live happily ever after, with all the wild sex

Now I need to go drink fresh, cold water to cool my brain off. ;)

What is this.??? I mean, this book changed the release date so many times that I actually had given up.. now, this was release as a Three part book??? are you kidding me.?? I'm sorry, i read the first part already and I hated it.. I hate that the main character had to change in order to become what the prince wanted.. that's just wrong. this story was just wrong since the beginning I was hoping somehow the story would change, maybe the characters would grow up, I don't know.

I'm done with this story.!!!

I enjoyed Keeping My a Prince Charming. It was a hot ending to a great series. JS Cooper never disappoints me. Lola and Xavier drew me in from the beginning. Sweet innocent Lola was put in a really bad position trying to keep Xavier happy. She willing went to Charles castle to enter the games so Xavier could make it in with the elite Princes. Only Lola really had no idea what she got herself into once the games started. Xavier was so torn because he realized how much he truly loved Lola and didn't want to be there any more. Was he willing to take Lola away and give up everything for her. Was there love strong enough for Lola to forgive Xavier. Read the conclusion and you will find out.

I was even more fed up with this installment than the others. This one build to a promise that was not delivered. The out was just wrong. The continued testing of Lola unfair. The contrite way it all came together left too many unanswered questions. Narration most certainly did not help this in any way. Lola put up with too much for so little to be received. There was some clarity for her toward the end but that felt pushed/rushed.

I am still so baffled as to why I finished this series at all! I knew better after reading the first but I think I really was hopeful that if I stayed committed it would eventually pay off or redeem itself...I was sorely mistaken. I hate to leave a bad review more than anything but not one book in this series did it for me.

I'm a big fan of J.S Cooper's work ultimately I end up falling in love with the story lines and characters. In this book she has done it once again she has the taken the ordinary and transformed it into something remarkable.
Lola and Xavier were definitely worth the wait I couldn’t get enough of the sexy badboy prince. The power he exuded was intriguing and exhilirating, the control he took towards anything realting to Lola made you see the the depth of his feelings for her. He was in denial the entire time, so many games being played it was difficult for him to risk his heart and in the end lose everything.
The games are taking a toll on Lola she has mixed feelings throughout and wants Xavier but can’t handle the pressure of dealing with so much drama, lies and deceit. The suspense keeps you hoping everything will eventually work out for them.
When the insanity of the royal family games drives Xavier to test Lola and figure out if Lola truly desires him and only him, will it lead to the ultimate revelation and the end of their “realtionship” or will it lead to something more…
Truly enjoyed this series Lola and Xavier are such an fascinating couple.

Junkfood

This series was like a half eaten twix, you know it's bad for you, you know you shouldn't finish it but you do because you believe in self punishment. The Prince charming series was like that, it was bad all the way around yet I had to finish the series.
First off the last book was only 100 pages, REALLY. That was it, talk about disappointing. Then the story takes a left turn with the sex club. That could have been left out of the story completely.
After the sex club fiasco, the story ends but we don't see any other characters.
What happened to Anna?
Didn't Sebastian come back home?
What about the king and queen?
We got nothing but a marriage proposal which, don't all romances have at the end. Look I'm not hating I love romance and HEA just as much as the next girl. But junk food reads need to come with a warning label.

Cooper creates an imaginative twist on the theme of "every girl's dream of a prince charming" in the conclusion of 3-book series. The author cleverly drops clues throughout the proceeding books but leaves the reader guessing what will happen in the whirlwind affair between a American college student and her Professor. I loved the European setting and the focus on art. Lola and Xavier's story is dark at times as Cooper takes us into behind the scenes of what fictional Princes do after dark in opulent settings. However, the author delivers your "happily-ever-after" with a more grounded truth that every one's Prince Charming is different. I personally loved the fact that Xavier's character made the choice to love Lola more than the power of winning a twisted game.

FINALLY, Xavier actually did something to prove he loved Lola by stopping the games and giving up the one thing he wanted. So we got there in the end. I do believe all this and the previous two books could have all been written as one. But, I guess the first one is hit & miss, so leaving it on a bit of a cliffhanger makes you want to read the second and third books. The book is simplistic with a basic vocabulary, even though the author tries to compensate for the lack of maturity by using fancy words here and there. There are a few scenes but nothing that makes you want to drop your panties there and then. I'm still not a fan of the characters, but that's me. Other people may enjoy them. Overall, it is a simple & very easy read to kill time.

So, Author doesnt know how to write the end and doesnt want admit it, hence changing the release date over and over and hopes that eventually, readers will forget about it, and I guess it is the reason that she is releasing god knows how many books and teasers each day,
so I guess I will be writing the end for myself, the only problem tim has passed and I dont remember the story any more, so . . .

Even though the whole series (3books) didn't contain more than 315 pages, I've loved the journey Lola and Xavier have been on together. I only wished they kept Anna and her journey in the stories as well. It would've made the books a little bit more about Lola being an actual person besides also being a sexpuppet or something

I didn't like the end... and what happened to one female character and what about the other female character or to one male character!! Too many unanswered questions!!!

Xavier totally redeemed himself in this book. I was concerned, but the author totally changed my mind about him. There were a couple of story line threads that didn’t get resolved and the epilogue seemed to hint at something else. Again, extra characters that did not move the story along at all. They were more of a distraction that anything else.

The best part of this book was Lola finally taking control. Even though she wasn’t exactly sure of what she was getting herself into, SHE was making decisions, instead of decisions being made for her.

Prince X...Upgraded from being a Douche..FINALLY!!

A great ending that had be on the edge and really frustrated at times, but once I got to the end, I was soo happy that I ended this series with actually liking Prince Xavier and shocked that the author was able to get me to change my opinion of him. Redemption is a good thing!!! Especially for Lola! There were times where I just wanted to reach into my Kindle and either shake her silly or back hand some sense into her... I'm glad that at the end everything came together!!

Something about this book rubbed me the wrong way. I’m not sure if it was the lack of consent (it may have been implied that consent was given for any matter of things but it felt wrong to me).

Overall, I was glad that this book and series was a relatively quick read.

Note: box set was added to TBR in April 2015

Ok first of all why was the font so huge? To make the book seem longer? While I liked this book ok I got so frustrated with Lola at too many times and felt like there were plot holes especially with Sebastian being said he was returning more than once, with Xaviers parents and Anna.
