Best Friend’s Daughter

Brooke knew she had a stalker…and she loved every minute of it. Axel was Brooke’s dad’s best friend and he was also his mentor in the Steel Rebels MC. When Kane was dying, he had asked Axel to look after and protect his daughter. Brooke had eyes on Axel for years and was doing everything in her power to get him to see her and not just the girl he said he would protect.

Brooke pushed Axel’s buttons whenever she could until he couldn’t deny his feelings for her as well. Watching their slow burn turn steamy hot made this book a big page turner for me. I cannot wait to see what this author has instore for me next in this series that I’ve fallen for.

STALKED BY AXEL is Book 3 of the Steel Rebels MC series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, stalker-lite, virgin gets her biker, and dad's best friend MC romance. Brooke is a 19-year-old sweet and sassy college student. Axel is a hunky 31-year-old mechanic, member of the Steel Rebels MC, and her late father’s best friend. She has been in love with him since she understood what love was. Axel has developed feelings for Brooke since she lost her father. He has been watching her as he told her dad he would care for her, but his feelings run deeper and he wants her, although he feels guilty about it. When she finally pushes him too far, he realizes he is done fighting his feelings and claims her. Their chemistry was pure fire and the ending was so happy but there was some drama and angst first. I can't wait for Gray's book next!.

We have another chapter to add to the Steel Rebels book series. This time it's Axel 31, the MC mechanic, who made a promise to his good friend, his mentor, Kane, to watch over his daughter Brooke, 19, after Kane passed. Lines are about to blur and choices will be made for these two. Let's do this.

Young bratty Brooke has been crushing on Axel since she was 17 and she's determined to make sure Axel notices her at any cost. Whatever IT takes!! Tight dress. Enemy territory. Club Rave. Fake ID. Drinking. Look at me Axel!😂 Looky!!! I'm dancing with another man.😜hehe She knows Axel watches her, stalks her, to make sure she's safe, but she really wants this man to see her as an adult, a woman meant for him. Brooke was very funny in the beginning. Tbh, I wanted more humor and banter between Brooke and Axel. Like the table shenanigans. In the last book, Axel was laid-back silly, now he was crazy serious.🤬 Their relationship changed in one night. Does Axel want Brooke the same way she wants him?

I enjoyed this spicy age gap love adventure.🥵🔥🥵 Where everyone already knew how Brooke felt about Axel, except... Axel.lol There were bets placed.🤭 It's a quick read. The world building kept expanding. There will be a misunderstanding and a little bit of drama added to the mix. We got to see Jade and Ingrid from the previous 2 books. Saint too. Along with introducing other guys from the brotherhood for future books like Gray along with Brooke's mysterious best friend Scarlett. Looking forward to that one. Brooke cannot remember a time when she didn’t love Axel, but after the death of her father she has never felt more off limits, especially as her father asked him to look after her when he was gone. She knows that he is always watching her from the shadows, and she enjoys taunting him, but she is ready to be treated like a woman and not a little girl, at nineteen she knows what she wants and that is a life with Axel. Will Axel finally step up and take what they both want or has everything they shared been about keeping his word to her father?

Axel had no idea what he was getting into when he promised his best friend asked him to look after his daughter when he died. In her late teens she has suddenly decided to become a brat and he is constantly worrying about how to keep her safe but also give her the freedom to live the life that she wants, but the hardest fight he has is with himself trying to stop himself acting upon feelings he never knew he could feel and especially for the girl he was asked to protect. So, when her latest escapade means that he crosses a line that he can never change will he finally admit how he truly feels about Brooke or will he let her go, is he betraying his vow or wanting to make new ones?

Brooke was definitely what you would class as a brat and Axel was so obviously meant to be with her and seems to be the only one within the MC that has no idea that Brooke has been in love with him since she was a little girl. Story with plenty of steam and these two characters have met their match, and you know they are going to burn. 4.8* Read

This book is meant for mature readers aged over 18.
It contains open door descriptive content that is somewhat explicit at times.

After reading the first two books in this series.
I had been looking forward to Axel’s book.
Especially since he is the club’s mechanic but, unfortunately parts of this book fell short for me.

I was not impressed by some of the antics and dialogue of our lead female were a bit too immature for my liking. I understand that she is still young.
I guess it is difficult for me to understand that level of immaturity at her age.
Given my experiences, and the fact I wasn’t that immature by the time I was barely 10.
Of course the way I was raised is drastically different.

In my opinion if authors are going to write books that are intended for mature readers. That are initially described as containing explicit content.
It would be appreciated, and appropriate for the content to reflect the maturity level it is intended for.

That being said, I did find the overall storyline interesting, and this series has helped me pass time bye quite nicely.
I think I would still recommend this series.

I just wish that the author would stop using and, but, or; because to start sentences.
It is improper grammar, poor sentence structure, and 90 percent of the time it is completely redundant, and unnecessary.

She's killing him...

Brooke Kane's mother died of complications shortly after Brooke was born. Her father, Kane, the mechanic for the Steel Rebels, went to pieces due to his grief. The MC members and their families tended to Brooke until he recovered enough to take over her care. She was raised in an apartment near the clubhouse.

Axel joined the Steel Rebels when Brooke was ten. He became the protégé and best friend of her father, Kane. She's been in love with him since she met him. Hero worship turned to romantic love as soon as she understood the difference between the two different loves. A year ago, her father lost his battle with cancer shortly after her high school graduation. His dying request was to ask Axel to care for Brooke and keep her safe. Axel promised that both he and the Steel Rebels would do just that.

There are just a couple of tiny problems. Brooke has set her sights on Axel and is bound and determined to make him see her as not only a woman, but HIS woman. Brooke is getting out of control; she's even entered the turf of another MC club with a fake I.D. He might be too old for her, unworthy of her, and possibly going against Kane's wishes, but he's ready to claim her!

 Brooke is Axel's best friend's duaghterr. Axel swore on his friend's death bed that he would watch over and take care of his daughter. But now that she's older he is having a hard time staying away from her - and she isn't helpinig. She's had a crush on him for a long time and has recently been trying to get his attention.

When she goes to a club with her friend, Axel finally caves in and finally acts on his desires. He's is very protective and caring towards Brooke and she is sweet and innocent. Their spicy moments between the sheets are pretty hot and they have wonderful chemistry. Trope Spoiler -> Their is a bit of miscommunication but it doesn't last long.

**Best Friend's Daughter**

I just finished reading "Stalked by Axel," the third book in the Steel Rebels MC series, and let me tell you, it was such a fun ride! This story dives into a forbidden romance between Axel and his best friend’s daughter, Brooke. After Axel promised to look after Brooke following her father’s passing a year ago, emotions have been brewing underneath the surface.

Brooke, feeling bold, decides to shake things up and tempt Axel. When things get a little heated at a club with her friend, Axel steps in to make his feelings known, claiming her as his own.

This short, sweet story is an exciting addition to the series, and I just loved the chemistry between Axel and Brooke—it’s palpable from the very start! Their spicy moments are super steamy, too! The story's pacing keeps you engaged, so you’ll want to grab a snack, get comfy, and read it all in one go. I can’t wait for the next book in the series! Happy reading, everyone!

Axel was my dad’s best friend. Now that he’s gone, Axel has taken to following me around. It is driving me crazy. I know I shouldn’t, but I want him. I have for as long as I can remember. The only problem is, he still sees me as a little girl. But I’m all grown up now and its time to make him see.
She’s going to be the death of me. I know she’s doing all these crazy stunts to irritate me. But little does she know, I like it. I know it’s wrong. I know what people will think. But I can’t help it. Brooke is mine and I’m not sure how much longer I can hold my emotions in check. She’s not the little girl I met all those years ago. She is ALL woman now and this man wants her.
This is book 3 of the Steel Rebels MC series. Technically, it can be read as a stand alone. But, I wouldn’t recommend it. Book 1 and 2 are incredible reads. It’s a fast paced OTT romance that can be read quickly.
I recommend this book for mature audiences only due to sexual content.

Her father was his mentor, and when he died, he promised to watch out for her. The whole MC considered her family but his interest is even more personal. She has loved him since she was 17. She knows that he made a promise to her father, but he also has to see that she’s a grown woman and knows what she wants. She decides to force his hand, knowing that he’s watching. She gets dressed up and goes to a club, hoping that he will finally break. And break he does. He has no intention of watching some other guy take what’s his he is read to claim her. This is a short format so you do not expect to get complex character development, or overly detailed plot lines. This one is well done you get enough backstory on both characters to feel like you’re getting a complete story and the individual characters are well written with layered personalities. You love their passion and their steam is fire. And it has the happily ever after you were looking for.

Stalked by Axel is definitely suspenseful and a page turning MC romance. Author Cassi Hart continues to showcase what a talented author and writer she is with each phenomenal romance novel I’ve read by her. I absolutely love that Cassi Hart creates and writes various types of romance stories because I love seeing how she puts the stories from different romance genres together. Stalked by Axel is the journey of Axel and Brooke. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between the main characters is smoking hot and undeniably irresistible. I absolutely LOVED getting to know both Axel and Brooke as well as witnessing their story unfolding throughout the book. I do love that they have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple. I found the characters to be quite entertaining, interesting and intriguing all at the same time. If you’re looking for a new MC romance novel to read, then you should give Stalked by Axel a read.

Stalked by Axel by Cassi Hart, Book 3 in the Steel Rebels MC series, is a gritty, steamy ride with all the intensity you’d expect from a motorcycle club romance. Axel is bold, broody, and completely obsessed — in the best kind of way — with the woman he’s set his sights on. The stalker angle adds a dark, edgy twist that keeps the tension high and the pages turning.

The chemistry between Axel and the heroine is explosive, and their relationship rides the line between danger and devotion. There’s plenty of action, emotional push and pull, and that raw MC energy Cassi Hart writes so well.

If you’re into alpha bikers, protective obsession, and spicy romance with a bit of grit, Stalked by Axel will definitely deliver. Another fast-paced, addictive entry in the Steel Rebels MC series that fans won’t want to miss.

This is book three in the author’s Steel Rebels MC series and features Axel, the head mechanic and a senior member of the Steel Rebels and Brooke, his best friend’s daughter whom he was asked to protect when his friend passed.

I would say that I loved this book…with one major caveat. Axel evidently had a spanking fetish and I’m not really a fan. Without that, I can honestly say this would have been my third favorite book of the year, and I read a shatload of books! There was just something about him that, other than the aforementioned fetish, I loved; he was sweet, a hail of a dirty talker and utterly and completely devoted to Brooke. What’s not to love? I wish I could give Axel 5 stars but when I say not a fan, I’m REALLY not a fan so, unfortunately, 4 stars.

This book is pure fantasy fuel in the best way. Brooke has loved Axel forever, but he’s too busy watching her from the shadows to actually make a move. That changes fast when she pushes him too far—and he finally snaps.

Axel is that overprotective, morally gray, tattooed biker who’s been holding himself back for way too long. The second he gives in? Game over. He’s done pretending he doesn’t want her. Brooke is bold and a little bratty, and I loved watching her poke the bear until he gave her what she wanted.

It’s got just enough angst to keep it interesting, with a whole lot of tension, possession, and dirty talk once the floodgates open. The MC backdrop adds grit without getting too dark, and the story still delivers a big dose of heart underneath all the spice.

OMG this was an fantastic story. It was an spicy page turner and the suspense was so intense. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Now Brooke has been trying to get a different kind of attention from Axle for months. But she promised her father that she will be a good girl. But something about him that had intrigued her with the desire . He was a bad boy that she wanted to fallen in love with in this moment. They couldn't fight the temptation at this time and he was looking at her like she going to be his before the night is over. Of no surprise to anyone, Axel and Brooke have been dancing around each other for the last year. Brooke has always had a crush on Axel, who had promised her dad and his best friend that he’d always look out for Brooke after her dad’s untimely death. Tired of trying to get Axel to take notice, Brooke takes matters into to her hands as she tempts Axel beyond the point of no return despite the age gap and promises made. A misunderstood conversation causes Brooke to run scared but Axel’s not willing to let his girl go so easily or without a fight. This fiery romance is a quick and enjoyable read. I love a short spicy story to end my day and Stalked by Axel did just that.
Promising his best friend and mentor to take care of his daughter before he passed, Axel was already looking out for her. Having known her since she was only 10 years old, he watched her grow into a beautiful woman. Knowing it was all wrong to have feelings for her, he kept his distance, but made sure she was safe from any harm.
Brooke, from the moment she set eyes on Axel, she knew he was the one for her. Frustrated that he refused to make his move on her, she baited him....and Finally he caved and gave her what she wanted and needed!
Loved the pull and push between these two, Axel being a dominant male and Brooke with her sassy attitude.
Having him finally in her bed, where he belonged, they now had to navigate the MC club and his brothers, as they had all taken her on as their responsibility after her father died. Would they accept that Axel had made Brooke his, or had he overstepped with his club?
A moving short story that has you from the moment you start reading, to the moment they get their HEA!

A silent sentinel shadowing her

Axel wants Brooke, craves her, fantasises about her, but he cannot let himself have her, he cannot cross that boundary....she is forbidden.
Brooke doesn't believe their love should be forbidden, age is just a number and the heart knows who it wants, she is determined to smash Axel's resistance to pieces, she taunts him, pushes him and punishes him, tempting the beast within. I enjoyed Brooke teasing and tempting Axel, pushing his buttons, you can see the moment she takes it a step too far and his restraint snaps, he becomes a hungry, feral animal desperate to claim every inch of Brooke, she belongs to him as he belongs to her, heart and soul forever.

RAVE Does It.
Fantastic. Brooke has been trying to get a different kind of attention from Axle for months. She was there when he promised her father to always look out for her. Axle is keeping his distance while watching Brooke but, lately she’s been taking unnecessary risks. Going to a disreputable club with a fake ID the of the game for Brooke and she doesn’t even know it, yet. Axle is done with the distance from her. But, she overhears his response when asked if he loves her at the Club Cookout she runs. When Axle hears she left in tears and is accused of breaking her heart he knows that he has to find her. Then hopefully fix whatever upset Brooke.

Oh my Axel. Rough, tough, every girl's dream of a bad boy.

Brooke has known Axel most of her life. He was her dad's best friend in the MC. Twelve years older than her but her first crush and what she wanted in a man. When her dad passed away,Axel was there for her and even promised her dad he would talk care of her.

Brooke is now an adult, all of twenty-one, but Axel is still the man for her. She doesn't everything she can think of to get him to notice her differently.

Axel notices Brooke. She is his dream girl, but he knows she deserves a better man than he is and someone her own age. But he can't stay away and now that he knows she wants him as much as he wants her, what will he do?.

Brooke is the daughter of Kane, who recently passed away. Before he died Kane asked his best friend Axle to look after Brooke.
Brooke is in love with Axle. But he only sees her as an obligation. She tries reckless behavior to get his attention.
Axle is in love with Brooke, but she is totally off limits, she is too young, too innocent, a MC princess and his best friend’s daughter. He stalks her to keep her out of trouble or at least that is what he tells himself.
A man can only be pushed to far and Brooke has finally pushed Axle beyond his limit.
I love how determined Brooke is in perusing Axle. She acts out to get his attention. What happens when Axle’s control finally breaks?

A steamy and sexy continuation of the Steel Rebels MC series. Axel is the MCs mechanic but also Brookes protector/ stalker but not the creepy kind. His promise to his best friend on his deathbed to look after his daughter Brooke is tested when his feelings for her changed. Brooke has always crushed on Axel and fed up of him seeing her as a child she’s determined to show him she’s all grown up and that chance came on a visit to a club when Axels patience just snapped and he gave in to his feelings. Steamy, page turning read with great characters and a hot mechanic that knows what to do with his tools. Brookes bff Scarlett intrigues me so look forward to reading where her story goes.

Axel and Brooke's story was fast paced and steamy, with a side of Hotness! Brooke has always crushed on Axel, and of course, Axel never knew. After her father died, Axel promised her dad he'd look after Brooke. She comes up with a plan to seduce him...but when they finally get together, is he being with her out of duty or is he starting to fall for Brooke the way she has fallen for him?

Pick this book up to find out. It is a scorcher!!! You're going to love it! Another winner from the incomparable Cassi Hart!.

Stalked by Axel is an intense and emotional ride with mild kink and plenty of fascinating characters. Brooke is young and petulant yet also demanding and provocative. She follows her heart and jumps in head first, going after the one thing she has always wanted. Axel is an alpha dominant protector with a definite control kink and so many warring emotions. That each of them are so easily read by their friend group is quite telling, and I adore our preview of Gray along with the cameos from Ingrid and Jade. Scarlett is so mysterious, and I can’t wait for her story and to see how it further enriches this world.
