Life has never been better for Jo Mason. Her powers are growing, and so is her relationship with the handsome Vampire SEAL, Webb London. Nothing can burst her bubble. Not her upcoming trial for the death of her nemesis, Blake Turner. Not even when she learns her DNA is the key for her enemy to build an army of vampires. Until she has a recurring dream that involves Webb’s future.
Webb has an important SEAL mission looming. He and his team must rescue a comrade who has been missing in action. He hates to leave Jo, but duty calls. He can’t trust in an old myth that dreams could be the window to the future. Not when a life is on the line. Not even if it’s his own.

This series just gets better and better!!! I’m glad I bought the kindle box set, so I can just binge read it!! I’m so crazy about so many of these characters!! Of course, HUGE book crush on Webb!! He’s so in love with Jo and would die to protect her!! I love Jo, she is really growing into quite a super vamp and she loves her people fiercely!! Her brother Sam is growing into quite the super vamp himself, and quite hunky! Their dad, although his alpha ways and protectiveness (not unlike Webb), he has a huge heart!! He loves his family so much, and he loves the people under him a lot as well, but he even shows kindness and compassion to many humans. He’s the most powerful vampire around, but never misuses his power!! I love so many of the sentinels, Tripp, Sloan, Olivia, etc. The doctor is super sweet. This story strongly leans towards being character based, but there is a lot of suspenseful, on the edge of your seat, butt-kicking action!! I can’t say enough about what a great story this is, and how it has its own concepts on Vampirism!!!
John has come such a long way in a short time, as has her relationship with Webb. Her powers keep growing and new ones developing, her dreams being g a possible future. So much is going on and this book ends with such a cliffhanger, I am glad I waited to read it until the next one was available
Jo's saga continues in the third installment of the story. As with the last book, the character's growing maturity is constantly on display as she moves from a teen to a young adult. The story also seems to be moving from a YA to something more adult. Two more to go in this particular series and the next book moves to a dual POV, which I'm partial to and excited for.
What a great series. A totally different vampire story, mixed with (hot badass) navy seals. I read all 3 books directly behind each other and I really hope there will be a book number 4 because I'm really curious how it will go on with Webb, Jo, Sam and the rest. But in the book information I saw that this last book already was from 2014..... Does anyone know if there is still going to be a sequel?
What can I said I will the characters Webb, Jo, Sam and all of the sentinels I cried when the plane goes down and the sentinels that are on the plane jump before the target jump. And I am wondering if Jo heard Webb taking to her in her mind. It's a must read. The whole series is a must read
Paranormal fans will love the twists and turns this vampire series has. The chemistry between Webb and Jo almost pops off the pages and the twists and turns in the story keep you sucked in.
