What a frustrating read, but in such a good way. if a book has me angry at everybody, rolling my eyes and breaking the fourth wall then it's alright by me. I also read book 4 in the series so keep reading for that HEA.
The author created quite a fascinant universe and an overall interesting plot between humans, werewolves, vampires and witches. It’s what kept me reading, curious to see what happens next or how the story ends. On the less bright side, the writing is annoyingly dull throughout the story that unfolds. The erotic scenes are repetitive (somehow highlighted by their numbers), characters don’t seem to grow much, we see at best some different facets of their personalities. The female main character, Lorelei, acts, overreacts and even thinks like a silly, spoiled teenager, which, although I understand her young age, it becomes disturbing sooner than later. Then we have the three alpha werewolves who after almost 2 centuries have passer since they were born, become so head over heels with this girl that they: give her the power to decide (… recklessly, which they already experienced with her) in key situations without being able to truly advise her for the better and keep her on a leash when she feels like acting out like a impulsive and brainless brat. Finally, we also have discrepancies in what the characters are, know or how they act. For instance, the visions that Beenie has that she cannot talk about because otherwise they become true, but then she runs to Lorelei telling her at most urgency what she just saw because “she must know” or something. Or the fact that wolves have such fine hearing but the three alphas sleep like babies without hearing her sneaking out of the room in the middle of the night. Or how the pack can communicate in their minds even at distances but not one teeny tiny member of the pack heard the cries for help when the patrol of Derick’s father got slaughtered by vamps. And many more. I think the story would have more potential otherwise.

I think this story was definitely a page turner and it kept the audience captivated but again the sex scenes were more of the same. If you're going to do a reverse harem then at least make these scenes different every single time. The plot is interesting and I really enjoy that its not the typical paranormal fantasy mystery where you have to figure out who killed somebody - so that's a plus. I don't like that they allude to things and never give us answers, why bring it up if we aren't going to know the conclusion. Lastly, in the story there was a mention of Lorelai's fantasy to see the guys with each other and this actually had me speeding through the book because I wanted to see if this ever happened, sadly I was dissappointed and feel like they never should have even brought it up if it wasn't going to happen.
The war was intense. Obviously knew the wolves would win but how?! And the plot twist at the my oh my! Couldn’t wait to read book four to find out what happened!
