Following on from book 2, Figure Eight, this picks up right where that left off, in the court room, after it all went to hell in a handbasket.
After Ashley tells the truth, and those responsible for all the trouble in the first two books, you would think that Ashley and Dominic would get their happy ever after, wouldn't you?? Well, hold on to your hats, cos it ain't a smooth ride!
Ashley is saved by Rownan, and Ashley finds herself torn between him and Dominic. Nic goes all out to win and keep Ashley, but Rownan will not go down with out a fight. It takes a life threatening accident to make both men see what is really obvious to them both, but one of them just won't admit it.
I did find this one a little less in-yer-face than the first two books, maybe becasue I knew this was the last part of three, or maybe it's me, I don't know. I enjoyed it, and it contains all the angst and drama and love from books one and two, it just did not quite hit the mark.
Written again from Ashley and Dominic's point of view, we also hear from Kelly, and Rownan, so we get an insight into everyone really. I loved that you get a background into Kelly, and her reluctance to commit to Knox, and it's their book that comes next. I'd like to read that too.
One thing I will say, the cover. I HATE it. I don't know why, it just does not do anything for me, at all. You should not judge a book by it's cover, I know, but I really do not like it.
