The Third World War

Rate this book
This work with contents that make us aware of the horrific ravine of war, also echoes a similar sentiment. Titled The Third World War , authored by Dr. Aniruddha Dhairyadhar Joshi, it is a collection of a series of studied and thoughtful articles that appeared in the columns of the daily, Pratyaksha . The work does not dwell only on the causes and the possibilities of war; it also discusses several issues that are, as a matter of fact, real, a part of History. Moreover, the common person, not necessarily acquainted with the details, the events and the causes lying behind these and especially in so coherent a manner, should indeed read the work. There is no doubt that over the next twenty to twenty-five years, conflict will become an aspect of everyday doings and in every region on earth. Values based on theory or principle will have no place whatsoever in this conflict and the survival of the fittest will, on the contrary, be the only commandment. Thus, also political games and secret conspiracies are going to be sure directives; quantitative power that can resort to aggression, violence and extreme ruthlessness are going to prove more dominant and successful in the conflict and for a long time to come. These words, part of the prologue, are a strikingly realistic comment on the general circumstances that prevail. By no means, a prediction of the future, this thoughtful presentation of history and the present situation, also gives, to a certain extent, a glimpse of the calendar of the third world war .

Very profound and a terriffic piece of research. Almost everything written in the book is what is happening now around the world. I loved the book.

So much of research has gone into this book. While it almost seems like prediction, please bear in mind that it is a piece of research.

The Third World War is a book written by Dr Annirudha Dhariyadar Joshi, fondly known as Bapu by his followers. The title of the book is eye catching and speaks for itself. In this book, Bapu talks about the past wars that have been fought by various different countries and by analyzing the past he makes certain predictions about the possibility of the Third World War.
In the first half of the book, Bapu explains the reason behind the occurrence of First & Second World War and various other wars and events that have taken place over the past 100 years. He also talks about the major incidents that took place and people behind those incidents and how those could have been prevented.
In the second half of the book, Bapu further explains and talks about the recent terrorist activities that are going on around the world, the relations between the powerful countries and also how the Third World War can be prevented. If the Third World War were to happen, Bapu tells about the different types of warfare & techniques that will be used in this war. He also makes a few statements about how the Third World War can be prevented or atleast cause minimal damage if those steps if those are followed.
I had a lot of fun reading this book and would surely recommend reading this book to every individual. This book has information that everyone should know in this day. Bapu has written this book in an easy to understand language and is definitely worth the read.
