I listened to this on Audible, read by Virtual Voice, something I do not recommend. Because of the audio format and the virtual "reader," it was hard to track if I was hearing an outline or table of contents, some part of the actual Book of Enoch, or some explanatory essay. Example: The voice repeatedly said what I heard as "seiche," followed by a number. While I am familiar with this word in a hydrodynamic context (It is a standing wave that occurs in an enclosed enclosed body of water, like a bath tub, that moves from one end to the other and back again.), but I was having trouble putting it in the context of theology or textual criticism. Then it clicked: The voice was reading "CH," an abbreviation of Chapter, followed by the chapter number and description.
I give the book a three stars for it's content because the author/editor often pulls on some vague strings when he tries to tie Enoch to the accepted Canon of Scripture, the concern being that, just because a Enoch text sounds like a verse in the Bible, this does not mean that it is tied to, or had any influence on, the writing of that verse. This book falls into my "Read with Caution" category.

Not my preferred version. You cannot tell where is summarized text starts and the actual original text begins, except when he tells you chapter 1. Along with his summary is his opinion.

I did appreciate his discussion of the expert’s opinion of when Enoch 2&3 were written.

No one has yet to discuss the fact that the Catholic Church has had the Book of Enoch the whole time which explains the eart, dun moon stars seasons how to track time on and on so they kept everyone ignorant as well as killed people knowing they were onto the facts.

This is Enoch 1, 2 and 3 plus the Book of Giants written in a way that is understandable to your modern average person. These are apocryphal text. Enoch is the great-grandfather of Noah. The texts expand on fallen angels, nephilim and the origin of evil.

Great book and summary, I just hate it used a virtual voice for the audiobook.
