Step back in time to discover how the Crae family got to where they are today.

She’s escaping a horrible past, hoping to build a future for her mother and herself.

Bethany is a rare half-werewolf, half-human, and her pack leader has just staged an insurrection and murdered the rightful king and queen. Determined to protect Bethany from retaliation, her mother tells her to find the new queen and plead for their people. Alone for the first time in her life, Bethany never expects the new queen to be her mate.

She’s forced to be queen far earlier than she wanted.

Celia Crae thought she had centuries more before being queen became a reality, but her parents’ murder means she now has to assume the mantle. Overwhelmed, facing war and wolves distrustful of her as a young, untried queen, the last thing Celia needs is one more thing to deal with. But when she finds her mate, a seemingly fragile half-human with a complicated past, Celia becomes stretched too thin.

How do you build a future when you don’t trust each other?

Mates are supposed to be love at first sight, but neither Celia nor Bethany find any of this easy. Constantly at odds about what their future should be, Bethany and Celia need to learn to work together—the entire kingdom of the werewolves depends on it.

A f/f, mating-bond spicy paranormal romance, Celia is a guaranteed HEA that stands alone. Each book in the series is focused on a different Crae sibling.

This is an 18+ book with multiple sexual scenes.

I love the Crae siblings. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one as much because it's listed as dislike-to-lovers, and the Crae siblings have always been so insta-love, head-over-heels, but this worked. Celia's struggle between her duty and her mate was really interesting, and there's still plenty of love.

I think this is the first book chronologically, so I'm curious what the author plans to do next.
