NONE SPOILER REVIEW!
I personally love everything about this book. I knew as soon as I started the first book Taken to the Deadlands that these twins would be my roman empire.
Tropes:
Forced closeness
Share everything
Do *everything* together
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
In all: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Eve is the mortal, a human lie detector, the twins buy her at the auction because YES they have LORE unlike Yien from the 2nd book Taken to The Shadow Realm (NO HATE, she was just a little dull). The twins Oros and Eros are on the hunt for the truth, so who or what better help than a lie detector? Their mother was brutally murdered and left outside the palace gates, they know their father knows more than he's letting on. They are set to figuring out the truth of what happened to the queen.
Of course, just like you all expected, they fall in love before they even start digging for answers about the queen's passing. They get a little “cozy” with each other too, a lot actually. So this isn't much of a slow burn when it comes to spice, but it is a slow burn when it comes to them actually becoming an item.

SPOILERS BELOW GOING DEEPER IN DEPTH OF MY OPINIONS!!!!
I physically cannot express how much I loved this book. I loved it so much I read it twice after only going a week without it, like rewatching a movie you love SMSMMSMSMS.
Right off the get go, you don’t see much fear from Eve in comparison to the other two main characters in the mortal role, Eve is a sassy queen. When you think of someone who says “I’m not short in fun size”- she's that vibe all the way but not in a cringey way.
Ms. Ma’am cant take anything seriously and i LIVE for a good sport. Chapter 15 the king himself is waiting in her room, trying to intimidate her. Miss ma’am in response to the king making a mocking threat to chain her up so he could smell her fear for the rest of her lifetime, she goes and says: “Edging yourself? K*nky.”
GRRRL THAT WAS NOT THE WAY BUT OKAY I GUESS! Pop off.
She purposefully starts a rivalry between the two twins too at the beginning of the book before either of the twins knew her name! She is not afraid of embarrassment, embarrassment fears her.
Now let's get to know these beautiful girls, the twins I mean because you already know too much about Eve.
The twins are like the definition of yin and yang, polar opposites of each other but so very different that they both level each other out.
Oros has always been the quieter sister, as Eros is very extroverted Oros prefers to stay introverted. But to her surprise once her and her sister went to the auction and bought the human she was pleasantly surprised when the mortal demanded that Oros ask what their name was. Usually whenever someone in the demon court asks Oros something they leave after not getting a reply back, leaving to ask Eros instead. But the mortal continued to press Oros until Oros finally asked. It was nice that for the first time she got the attention even though that isn't her typical wish.
Eros on the other hand, my personal favorite because I love me, is a hyper cocky character that knows how to express vulnerability, is more extroverted but my sweet hyper baby is a little insecure even though the spotlight mainly resides on her.
Eros was the one who bought Eve, so she kind of expected Eve to show more interest in her. But honestly I'm kind of on Eve’s side, everyone loves themselves a cold, distant, quiet baddie. Later in the book Eros shows signs of jealousy that the human was spending more time with Oros trying to get her sister to engage with her more verbally. Eros was trying to give the human a flower but the human was almost ignoring her. But the jealous feeling switched to pride because she wasn't used to her “shy” sister getting this much praise and was happy for her.
Now when Eve gets Oros alone, she tries to get a little frisky but Oros pushes her away saying “we’re a package deal.”
AHHH AND YES THEY AREEEE.
Neither of them like being alone with Eve because of the bloodlust/frenzy. They like being together with Eve in case one of them gets close to the frenzy so they can pull the other away.
IS THAT NOT THE CUTEST THING???
So YESSSS, this is my personal favorite series and book by beautiful Elle Mae.
I’d give it a 10 but I guess I'll settle for a five because that's the highest I can go.
I have read the other books in the Stolen Brides series, I will be writing reviews, but this one right here left such an impact thst this needed to come first since Elle saved the best for last, OBVIOUSLY. Elle needs to make a 2nd season of The Stolen Brides. Personally, I wouldn’t mind reading a book about Madam, she's hyper and charismatic, so I could see that book being a real hit as well. But I know I'm asking for too much.
