Smoke, Smoke, Smoke.
When Kafiya and Smoke first crossed paths they both were instantly attracted and she let their first encounter go further than it should have considering her predicament at the time. I will admit I was questioning her moves after that first encounter; however, after finding out Terry wasn't worth a damn I said hey this was a blessing in disguise for her meeting Smoke and "getting to know him better." I understood that she wanted to pay her debt with Terry herself but if I were her when Smoke first offered I would have accepted.
I felt that even though Smoke was known for his ruthless ways, he had a softer side when it came to her and I thought it was nice that he was willing to tone things down to make her happy. I liked that he ain't play about her, wanted to protect her and do for her because he could and I was happy when she finally let him. I also found it interesting that her best friend was the one who helped bring them back together when they had a little issue I'll say. Overall I thought it was a good read and honestly Smoke made the book for me.

This was unbearable for me sorry, Fiya was not a bright girl and had no business in business. Like one we never see her at work lmao like it took far too long for me to figure out what her hustle was. Then she never gave intelligent at all every chapter I read that she was featured in she’s having to be lectured by her homegirls. Like you spent the money fast AF cus you been behind but it’s clear you aren’t that locked in on your business. Like Terry gave her an out and she played until she couldn’t no more like I’m sorry made it to 42% and I just couldn’t vibe with our FMC. Every chapter I read her home girls is having to explain something to her, question her decision making ect like at 29 you don’t have no sense about yourself ? Like sorry she was a bird, Smoke wasn’t bad but he couldn’t save this for me

Just like all of my reviews, I won’t spoil it for you, but what I can say is this was worth the wait! the book covers the journey of our FMC Kaifiya “Fiya” and our MMC Colton “Smoke.” Fiya is such a tough spot in her life, that has landed her in an arranged marriage. One last night of fun has lead to a whirlwind of chemistry and attraction. Our MMC Smoke is HIM. He owns businesses and of course is in a world where no one is safe. Get ready for the roller coaster ride and hold on.🎢
My favorite thing about this book is the banter between these characters and even the supporting characters. I was cackling the entire time and it really bought light to a different kind of love language. I have to just throw out there that Terry is a straight hoe!!🤷🏽♀️👊🏽 You will see what I am talking about. The spice level is A1 like steak sauce 😂. Remember you can’t have smoke 💨without Fiya🔥. This is just an overall great read!
You will love this book if you love plot, character development and growth, spice/erotica and of course this genre Urban Romance.IYKYK! Again, check your trigger warnings. Happy reading!

Smoke was a whole vibe. Running his gentleman's club and a few other things, life is sweet. When he learns a woman has breached his men's paradise, he is pissed. Then he lays eyes on her and is smitten. Let the games begin. 😜 Smoke having a little fun with Fiya while she earned back her shoes, changes everything. I loved the fun banter, and their intense chemistry. Soon they both couldn't stay away, shocking them both, but what will Fiya do about Terry? Smoke is not one to be played with and everyone will learn soon enough, including Fiya. Enjoyed this. 👍🏿👍🏿

I’m on the fence about this read. Not sure what it’s missing. May be my mood, I don’t know. It just became a bit redundant.

The owner, Smoke is very intrigued by Fiya and wants to get to know her. He puts her through all these sexy games that leads to them realizing they want more from one another.

The Smoke Hour
I love the constant connection between Smoke & Fiya! Where there’s fiya there is smoke lol!!!! No one can get mad that Fiya took the first opportunity to leave her situation. Her friends are slightly judgmental & once you read more into her you will see how wrong they were! Her fiancé was a hctib on the highest level. Smoke was that man & he handled what had to be handled. When he set his mind of his career path plus opening his heart for love it was amazing! This was good!

Smoke and Fiyah!!
I truly enjoyed reading about Smoke and Fiyah. Fiyah definitely met her match in Smoke. Smoke was applying pressure every chance he got, and Fiyah was loving it even though she was trying to pretend otherwise at first. Smoke knew that Fiyah was his woman, and he did everything he could to ensure that their future was settled. I despised Terry and his manipulative ways. I was glad when Smoke showed him that he didn't play about Fiyah. I loved the play on their names which goes to show that they were destined to be together.

There’s something about this…
That could have been better… I’m not sure what it was but I wasn’t really feeling the main female character. Even after realizing she had depression I just didn’t like the way she moved. I don’t remember smoke saying he killed anyone or that he sold weapons but who am I to say what someone’s triggers should be defined as. I just thought she was odd in her actions and words. I also could have sworn Noel had a boyfriend at first… anywho, 3 is the best I could do. It needs a bit more editing.

Big Dog SMOKE!!
I love this story, from the door you are told that Smoke is not to be played with. But in this story he strategically uses games to get the girl and I loved it. Smoke gives all the BDE and then some, let’s not mention his jewelry!!!!! Girrrrrlll!!! Fiya pissed me off almost the whole book but she finally got herself together and submitted to that wall of Smoke!!! Five stars Ms. Cynae’.

Aww, I love it. Smoke was as unhinged as they come. But he was sweet and gentle as well. He fell for Kai immediately. She fell for him just the same.

I like the quote where there is smoke there is fire, and it went with both of the characters names. I enjoyed how the female character found herself in a situation and she ended up meeting someone who was in his own world, but open and willing to love. I thought it was funny how when people were describing Smoke and talking about who he was, they said he wasn’t one for games. But that’s all he did was play and i loved all of it! Smoke was strategic and determined! He knew what he wanted and APPLIED PRESSURE!! Terry hoe ass was crazy and I’m glad he got what he deserved. I wish he didn’t get his money back. But whatevs. Smoke was it for me! I luhhh him!! Lol
