Wow! I enjoyed reading “The Snakeman of Sneyd End” by Ray Burston. The author's writing is fluid, realistic, and impactful. This book is rich in character and story development.

Immediately, I was drawn to the characters, and cheering them on. Author Burston does a fantastic job with bringing the characters and their surroundings to life. It was great to experience a detailed account of one man’s journey from many setbacks to triumph. There were many lessons along the way for Brian Danks, an eccentric zoologist, and Ruby, his wife, a teacher. The couple went through several difficult situations but learned to overcome and find love again. Further, I was moved by the well-placed Bible verses that were in sync with what was happening in the story. I loved it.

Keep up the great work, Author Burston!
