Good!

This was the first book that I have read by C L Bentham, but I can't wait to et my hands on book 2. I really enjoyed this book. The story, the characters, the whole thing. I all liked how the speed of the story kept us gripped. There was never a dull moment, always something had me wondering what next?
This book does end on a cliffhanger, but I can't wait to see what happens in book 2. I do hope that Macy an Carter can have a happy ever after, because they both deserve it.

This is the first book I have read from this author and (1), I can't wait till book 2 gets here from Amazon and (2) I am going to be reading everything she writes. I love The Decision and Carter , wow swoon! There is mystery, danger, lies, love and friendship weaved throughout the pages that I didn't want to put it down.
This is a story about life not being so perfect but finding your way, your happiness, your inner strength to survive and to live. Find something that makes you happy and pursue it whole heartedly. For Macy it is her camera.
Macy is the main character and this is her story with all the good, bad and the ugly. With her best friend Jenna by her side, they get through it all together.
Then in comes Carter and he is dashing, rich and a take charge kind of guy. His own life not so perfect as it seems to Macy at first and he wants Macy. To protect her, to have her with him and to ravish her. Yes there is that and he gives her jelly beans, lol. Their chemistry is sizzling.
From the moment he is introduced into the story I was pulling for him and still am, that redemption and healing can happen for both Macy and Carter.
I highly recommend this one and it goes quickly so have the second one handy!

Finally found the time to read this. C. L. Bentham has an inapt way of drawing you into a story from the first few lines. Macy, a tortured soul who has already known so much pain and heartbreak, managed to overcome abandonment by a mother who chose to leave, rejection from a father who seemed too angry to let it go and bullying and humiliation from her peers to make it as a successful photographer in NYC.

Everything is going well and then she bumps into a mysterious man, Carter Reynolds, a man whose reputation proceeds him. Everything changes and you find yourself willing things to happen. (Clears throat)

A story where friendship is pushed beyond boundaries, where trust is smashed to smithereens and where even though the signals are screaming at her to stay away, you pray she listens to her heart rather than her head.

The tension gave me a headache at times, but an excellent read if you like fast paced stories with a little bit of everything, you will enjoy this.

I really enjoyed reading this book.

The chemistry between Macy and Carter was explosive. She cannot fight the fact her body wants him, even if her head says no!

Macy uses her camera as a way to cope with life, its her escape. I can understand this, books for me are my escape from life.

Carter gives Macy 6 weeks to decide if she wants to be with him, 6 weeks is a long time. I don't think she needs that long!!

And then it happens BOOM, the ending OMG. Jaw dropping ending and you have to wait till book 2 to find out what happens??!!

This book is the dogs doodahs! Loved it all and want/need book 2 NOW!!!

This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I loved every minute of it so much that I read it in one sitting.

This is one story of a woman's life, of her struggles, of her strength, of how she has tried to have a happy life only for her past to come storming back in to her life.

Carter is a man that is dark and mysterious, and holds many dark secrets. He has found Macy and the will to protect her is strong.

I loved this book, and I cannot wait until I get the next one.

A heartbreaking yet beautiful story of love and pain. Macy Portland is one tough cookie, and Carter, well he’s the epitome of dark, mysterious downright HAWT!

I can’t wait to see where this book goes after the cliffhanger in the next book (Click #2: Captured)
