This book! Lovers to friends to lovers. That's like the ultimate romance, right?
Josh Crawford is the ultimate playboy. He's successful, lives on his own, super good-looking and has a new girl in his bead almost every night. What no one knows though, is that he's been in love with Ashlyn since the night they were first together four years prior. He's wasting no time now making sure she knows that it's her he wants and he'll stop at nothing until Ashlyn is his forever.
Ashlyn is still reeling from her horrible relationship with Lachlan when she realizes that Josh is more than just her best friends brother. She's got a great career, home and wonderful friends but lacks the support of her parents that so many young people need. Ashlyn's always had feelings for him but never let them come to the front because of events in each of their lives. After cheating on her, Lachlan will stop at nothing to show Ashlyn who she's lost and he goes to great lengths to prove his love for her. What a psycho.

It's not a secret that Rachel Brookes can write amazing stories she is the author of Be My December and The Breathe series. So when she emailed me asking me to review I just couldn't turn the opportunity down. And I enjoyed it but I didn't love it and it's not because of the plot line which I was a total sucker for but I really feel the connection "love" between the characters as much as the author wrote about it.
I didn't really care for Ashlyn all that much. I loved the fact she didn't judge but also I didn't really click with her on a personal level that I usually like while reading novels. But Josh I fell in love with him with the way he was, I didn't mind that he was a sort of a man whore but with a dirty mouth like his who would?

Why yes I'm rating a book before it was released because I had the pleasure of reading it before everyone! Be Jelly!
If you loved Ky Crawford, watch out, because his little brother is giving him a run for his money.
Sexy. Dirty Mouthed. All Alpha. Passionate. Loving. And I could go on and on.
Josh Crawford will steal your heart from the beginning all the way to the end.

Mark it on your calendar and before you buy it... purchase chocolate, ice cream, change into your favorite pajamas, put on an adult diaper and stay on your couch reading for 24 hours. An all nighter is worth it. :)

I am lucky enough to have been given an early copy of Be My Temptation, and Rachel Brookes has definitely outdone herself with this book. I loved, no wait, I adored Be My December, and Be My Temptation is equally brilliant . Ky Crawford from BMD is my ultimate book boyfriend, but his little brother Josh comes in a very close second. Ashlyn Hart is Josh's ultimate temptation, and she is a wonderful heroine. She is gorgeous, has loads of sass, and she made me want to be her best friend, even though I wanted to give her a good shake at times, I couldn't help but love her.
I went through so many emotions in this book, from laughing one minute, to crying the next. And swooning, oh there was lots of swooning. Not only for those Crawford Brothers, but we saw the return of a few characters from Rachel's previous books to remind us why we fell in love with them.
Be My Temptation had it all, including a few twists that I didn't see coming. If you love Rachel's other books, you are going to LOVE this one. If you haven't read her previous work, you need to start, because this talented author is going places.

Oh my, this book. If you thought Be My December was good, you will absolutely love Be My Temptation. Rachel Brookes brings the steamy Josh Crawford out in full force! I couldn't wait to read his story; we were introduced to him as the typical bad boy bachelor but I just knew there had to be more to him. I was absolutely right! His dynamic is one that you can't help but fall in love with and his sexy...let's just say he brought sexy back. In. Full. Force.
And Ashlyn, this girl stole my heart! The biggest thing that will turn me away from a book is a weak lead. Eden from Be My December was exactly that and I had a hard time really loving her. Ashlyn, on the other hand, this girl is a rock star. She is such a strong female character with a great sense of humor. She has confidence in her abilities to please a man and really takes life by the horns. What’s not to love?
Ms. Brookes hit a home run with this book! I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys a friends-to-lovers book that is packed full of humor and a whole lot of sex appeal. ~ Kelly, 4 stars

There are not enough words in the world to describe my love for this author, her talent and the characters she brings to life. Rachel Brookes is one of those authors who pushes herself to bring something bigger and better every single time. This book has been written from her heart and soul and delivered in such a spectacular way. She writes with passion and depth that is completely unique to her. Personally, I read for feels, and being on this journey with her, it had been nothing short of AMAZING. Following Rachel from the very beginning of her writing journey has brought such happiness into my life, allowing me freedom from daily struggles and personal demons. She has grown so much as a writer since the Breathe Series, and following her journey has been amazing.
From the very first page of Be My Temptation, I fell deeply into Josh Crawford and Ashlyn Hart's journey. This is one of those books that pulls you in, body, mind and soul, consuming you and engages you into devouring every single word.
Ashlyn Hart is sassy, funny, with buckets full of sex appeal. But the side of her that made her such a perfect heroine is her vulnerability. This was expressed through every single chapter. She also holds so much strength and even though situations have made her doubt herself and her worth, she always conquers through without the bitterness and instead focuses on hope. She is such a beautiful character with a huge heart that you want her to find her happily ever after she craves.
Josh Crawford aka brother of Ky Crawford is the be all and end all of book boyfriends. He is the epitome of man. If you look the word man up in the dictionary, I'd bet you will find his name scripted as the definition. He is without a doubt the sexiest book boyfriend I have encountered since Mr Max Stella. YEP I SAID IT! You want a charming, hilarious, sexual, kind, delicious, alpha when he needs to be who wants Ashlyn wholeheartedly, he is the guy! And his inner monologue wrecked me.
Ashlyn and Josh are friends first. I think this is why they have this incredible connection and chemistry that has left me with one helluva book hangover. They just get along so well, and when things do heat up, the sexual tension is EXPLOSIVE....you may need a bucket of ice or twelve!!
Each and every scene played out in my head so vividly, and the rollercoaster of emotions I experienced has made this book one of the best romance novels I have read EVER! I laughed out loud, my heart was beating out of my chest, and I found myself shouting at my kindle when reading certain scenes like the characters could hear me.....my man thought I was absolutely INSANE, "it's just a book" he said..."why are you shouting #teamjoshlyn" he said... Three weeks on and he's still in the dog house!
Rachel Brooke's has created this outstanding fictional world that you can lose yourself in for hours and will capture your soul. You will be thinking about this book days, weeks, months after you finish and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am not going to spoil anything, because this book deserves to be read and experienced personally by each and every reader. But I can assure you, it is one outstanding journey you want to be a part of, experience and feel.

Well, let me tell you now if you loved Ky the first Crawford Brother then you are going to LOVE his little brother Josh that man is just so lush!! I like Ky but Josh I loved him. Be My Temptation by Rachel Brookes is the second in The Crawford Brothers series and is Josh and Ashlyn story. Two people shared a night one that five years later they have never forgotten; especially Josh Ashlyn was that one Temptation, who he just couldn’t forget.
“After all, no one knew it, Ashlyn didn’t even know it, but Ashlyn Hart was and would always be my forever girl”
From very early on I soon realized that there is more to Josh than meets the eye. He may have seemed like a ladies man, but he was selfless, had a big heart, and sexy alpha with all the right words. Ashlyn Hart was strong, sassy, funny, and independent, but an ex-boyfriend had broken her heart, and that make her cautious with her feelings. I like her, but once or twice I did want to give her a little shake and say just listen to what your heart is telling you.
“There was something different about Josh Crawford's attention. It made me feel like the world was spinning out of control around us but all he focused on was me”
I loved Josh and Ashlyn together and individually. The connection was high between them as was sexual tension. Their friendship/relationship was fun, flirty, sexy, cute, passionate and intense. They had to not let fear and the past stand in their way of what they want, especially Ashlyn as Josh deep down always knew what he wanted.
“Be mine today, tomorrow and forever, because we both know that we are the only ones for each other”
It was good to see that all was well in the world of Ky & Eden, love that Rachel give us a different side of Eden. Rachel also introduces two hot sexy characters that will be getting books in the future Ashlyn’s brother Austin and his friend Ben Hunt. Let me just take a moment to talk about Ben Hunt from the snippet that we get of him, it was just enough to leave a lasting impression. I know that I’m going to love him and has alpha ways. I can’t wait for his book.
With Be, My Temptation Rachel has written a story about soul mates, true love, second chances, friendships and taking chances. And what you will do for that person who you know took your heart from the very first time you saw them. The one person who no matter what happens you will always want, them be your forever person. I adored this one, which wasn’t a surprise and loved being on Josh and Ashlyn journey.
“A risk is worth taking if it leads to a happily ever after”
Loved the way Rachel writes with such passion, she is such a talented writer. I just can’t help but love her characters and have great empathy for them. She never fails to pull on all my emotions I swooned, laugh, cried, got anxious, and wanted to punch someone while reading this one and those sexy scenes were hot!! Love the epilogue it left me with a grin on my face. It was the perfect ending for Josh and Ashlyn.
“You hold my heart in those pretty little hands of yours Ashy, I can’t survive without you"

Love a good quality friends to lovers story and this was one of them not to long or too short, filled with hot and swoon worthy,heartwarming moments.
Josh and Ashlyn have been friends for 5 years, Ashlyn was the one night stand that could of been more. The morning walk of shame was no shame at all, Ashlyn meets Josh's brother Ky in the kitchen and for the first time in a while Josh saw his brother smile, Josh new then they both needed her in their lives and they all became great friends. Friend zoned, but Josh would have her in his life anyway he could.
There are some beautiful moments and words throughout this book.

Josh was a man whore had reputation with the girls and not one for a repeat performance, a hot and a swoon worthy guy and Ashlyn was a hopeless romantic who loved her book boyfriends.
Once these two finally got together it was hot and heartwarming all at the same time.

Why am I just discovering Rachel Brookes? Have I been under a freaking rock? Holy Shit this woman can write! HOOKED, I am HOOKED. OMG, first with Be My December. Hello heartbreakingly beautiful and traumatic story. ------- WOw’d, yup I was Wow’d.
Now this? Let me just say, she definitely did not disappoint with this story AT ALL!
I can’t even being to explain how freaking ANGSTY this story is.
Isn’t it funny how sometimes that person you have been looking for has been in front of you the entire time? No matter how strong your feelings are, life just continuously gets in the way and the timing just seems to be off.
First you have Josh, the renowned playboy, the “hump them and dump them” guy. He is Handsome, smart and cocky in all the right ways and he is successful at his job. His issue, he let “the one” get away with his heart years ago.
Next is the beautiful and sassy Ashlyn. She is amazing at her job but when it comes to her love life, she isn’t successful at all. Her ex, is a complete douche but the one guy that holds her heart, is long gone.
After their amazing night together years ago, they remained friends. Josh has always been there for Ashlyn and when she finds herself in a dilemma, this time is not different, or is it? Now that they are temporary roommates, their true feelings come to light and let me just tell you, it is an amazing, sexual and fantastic ride.
Josh knows what he wants and he wants it all with Ashlyn (QUE THE HEARTS OF JOSH’S PAST BREAKING EVERYWHERE). Ashlyn has a hard time trusting men because of her ex. She also has a hard time in regards to being enough for someone due to her parents and because of those things, she continuously pushes Josh away, even though her heart tells her to keep him. Ashlyn had me so frustrated (in a good and angsty way) at times with her cluelessness when it came to Josh’s feelings for her.
Their relationship comes naturally, there is never any awkward silences and the way that Josh can read Ashlyn is just so uncanny. They are each other’s Yin and Yang, Together, they make sense but apart, they are a chaotic mess and oh so stubborn. Two of the MOST stubborn characters ever! It is makes for some fun and seriously sex times as well as some fearful ones.
Josh made me swoon constantly with the things that came out of his mouth. He has definitely earned a spot as one of my TOP book boyfriends.
I am loving this series and hoping that there will be a story for Ben and Austin sometime in the future.

FANGIRL OVERLOAD!!! Seriously, I don't know how I am going to function for the rest of the day knowing that I finished one of the best novels I have read this year. Once again, Rachel Brookes has created a life between two characters that have done and gone through things in their past, that have affected their future.
So from the beginning, you get an understanding of who Josh and Ashlyn are, mainly from Be My December. This story jumps right into a friendship between two people who shared something so huge years ago.
Another reason why I was so quickly drawn to Ashlyn, was the fast that she is a total bookworm, and there is even talk about book boyfriends! (THANK YOU RACHEL!!) I love the fact that Ashlyn's character was made into someone who not only had beauty, but brains, and someone who would much rather sit at home, eating Pad Thai and cuddle with her Kindle reading about the next book boyfriend.
Alright, so apart from the dedication page, of course there were a lot of quotable moments, however these two really shined for me:
"He was a cliffhanger and I was a happily-ever-after."
"Our love had created life, and our obstacles had shown us a path to a future neither of us could have imagined."
Okay! Well played Rachel! Honestly with all of the twists and turns, I got caught up to expect the unexpected, but I never expected what would happen towards the end.
Overall (if you couldn't guess) I absolutely LOVED this book. The Crawford Brothers now have a place in my bookish heart and are the top ranked characters/book boyfriends for me for 2016! The writing style was amazing, the characters were flawed, which made them more real to me, and I just couldn't put down their story.

Overall Opinion: This was a cute, sexy, and easy read. I liked it, but I don't think it'll be all that memorable. I found it to get kind of cheesy towards the end, and it was even to the point where I felt the author was telling me how in love they were through reading them say it over and over to each other instead of making me feel it. A little over "just ok" because it was better than I thought it'd be, but not down as one of my all time favorites either. Just FYI...I have not read the first book in this series, Be My December, and had no trouble keeping up...so I'd say it truely could be a standalone.
Storyline: This is Ashlyn and Josh's story. They catch each other's eye in college and end up connecting in a bar where Josh takes Ashlyn's home with him and takes her virginity. The experience was special for both of them and forever connected them. Josh's brother, Ky, is in a bad place, so when Josh comes out of his room determined to chase after Ashlyn the morning after and sees that she has made his brother smile for the first time in forever...Josh decides to back off. Ky and Ashlyn establish a great friendship that helps Ky through his hard times. The story starts off 4 years later where Ashlyn and Ky are still best friends, and Josh is close with her as well but always feels like he is in second place to his brother. Ashlyn is out of a bad relationship and surprisingly goes to Josh instead of Ky. She is making big changes in her life, and ends up moving into Josh's guest room while getting renovations done to her apartment. Josh decides that since she is out of her relationship and his brother is in a good place because of his girlfriend...he is going to finally pursue Ashlyn. Sparks fly and things heat up between the two and feelings that have laid dormant for years are coming out. With Josh's playboy past, Ashly's crazy ex, and some other drama...the couple work it all out and find their HEA.
POV:This alternated between Ashlyn and Josh's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good. The was a lot going on, so I never felt bored where I was skimming.
H rating: 4 stars. Josh. I liked how loyal and protective he was of Ashlyn. He knew what he wanted and went for it, and his inner alpha came out.
h rating: 3 stars. Ashlyn. I liked how she never judged Josh's womanizing past, but otherwise she was just ok.
Sadness level: Low. Drama but no tears shed here.
Heat level: Moderate. A good bit of steamy times for the couple, but I don't think it was too much.

Josh and Ashlyn have a history and a connection but neither has been able to pursue the interest they've had. Josh has his secret reasons and Ashlyn is determined not pursue him and get her heart broken. They each value their friendship and find it hard to want to mess things up. But when Ashlyn decides a career change and an upcoming move out of the country it forces Josh's hand. He can't wait anymore to show her what she means to him and insists she stay with him while she is having house renovations done. Of course that only makes for explosive and unavoidable sexual tension that they can no longer avoid. It leads to a secret fling but keeping secrets and trying to contain their wants only pushes and breaks.
Rachel Brookes delivers another emotional book in Be My Temptation. We already fell in love with Ky and Eden in BMD who are heavily involved in this book and of course we were enticed by Josh and Ashlyn. Now with BMT we have TWO Crawford brothers to swoon after and isn't it great? Josh leaving his playboy ways for Ashlyn is so smooth and romantic. While Ashlyn has some setbacks she's still not completely broken. She fights for herself and for Josh. She is so endearing and easy to connect to. Be My Temptation is my first book by Rachel Brookes but definitely will not be my last. I am now reading Be My December. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I just loved Josh Crawford he may now be my number 1 book boyfriend.
Josh Crawford and Ashlyn Hart first meet at 19 when Ashlyn is a virgin. Josh is the ultimate alpha male and player. When they get together one night and she gives him her most precious gift they both have one night together but 5 years of torment. Ashlyn moves on with Lachlan who is an ass and Josh goes from one girl to the next. Ashlyn is back and Josh wants her. She thinks it is just for sex but this player wants to win the game and keep Ashlyn for himself. Also in the mix is Ky Crawford Josh's brother and Ashlyn's best friend. Josh has stood back while she and Ky share everything wishing it was him.

You know when a book makes you cry (happy tears I mean), it really means that you just read an amazing novel. I really don't need to tell you this book is phenomenal because those of you who have read Be My December know how amazing Rachel's writing is.
"He remembered everything, he digested everything I said, and could read me like an open book. No one could do that but him.
That was Josh Crawford."
The ending chapters made me cry. I really felt what the characters felt. While the first book dealt with main characters on a heavy emotional level, this book was more...the temptation (ha ha) of having two very alike characters and how they deal with their emotions flying all over the place. When they meet, sparks shoot out, and they have a bond, dare I say, stronger than the first book's couples.
Josh is not what you expect him to be.
Neither is Ashlyn.

This is without a doubt my favorite book by Rachel Brookes! Seriously, I loved this book so much and it was so much more than I could have expected.

I love a good friends to lovers book but this one was more of a lover to friends to lovers book! These two had some serious chemistry and I don't see how this didn't just happen again years ago! The tension was always thick between them.
I really think Josh Crawford has claimed a spot on the list of book boyfriends. He was sexy as sin, a dirty talker, protective AND romantic.
Ashlyn, that poor woman. She has not had the best of luck when it comes to men. But when she was with Josh I felt like she was in her element. These two just went together so easily even when Ashlyn was trying to fight it.
I'm not going to go into the plot or anything because I feel like that spoils it sometimes. This was just a great read and if you love all of Rachel Brookes' other books then you will not be disappointed with this one!

Josh Crawford is a hot, heart fluttering, dirty talking playboy who leaves a string of women wanting more, but we also get to see his big heart and sensitive side too which i loved, i love an alpha but he also has to have that soft side to him which Josh has.

This book was nothing short of Phenomenal, it left me in a book hangover for nearly 5 days. I could not get Josh & Ashlyn out my head - they are permanently embedded into my brain.
Josh Crawford... be still my beating heart - you are officially my top book boyfriend of 2015 so far, and Ashy was an amazing leading lady to be paired up with Josh.
Rachel wrote this book perfectly, every emotion was thought out well and every sex scene was smoking.

Ashlyn and Josh's story was not as interesting as Ky and Eden's in BE MY DECEMBER.
In addition, every character has the same voice. The women as well as the men, seem to have an affinity for the "F" word. Unnecessary and annoying!!!

There are some books you want long before they are ever written, some stories you beg the author for, some that you believe in so fully long before pen has even touched paper, such was the case with Be My Temptation, back during the beta reading stage of Be My December, before the ink was even dry on the first book in the series, as I was giving the author my feedback and thoughts I started championing for Josh and Ashy's book, I believed in these two, I sensed there was a bigger story for them and I was desperate for it. When Rachel Brookes announced that she would be writing Be My Temptation I was overjoyed, I had HUGE expectations for this book to be everything I imagined and more.
Josh Crawford has had a line of beautiful women move through his life for as long as anyone can remember, he's gorgeous, successful and had a reputation that confirms he knows how to keep the ladies satisfied, he's also got a heart bigger than Texas and is the kind of friend that you can always count on, he's the kind of dirty talking alpha male you can't help falling for, and I did, wholeheartedly, before I'd even finished the first page.
Ash is blessed with great friends, a good job, a fantastic apartment close to her friends, and a boyfriend she cares for deeply, on the surface life couldn't be better, she's watched as her best friend found the love of his life, she's seen two people who deserve nothing but happiness draw strength from one another, be the light in each others darkness, and Ash wants that soul deep connection herself, she dreams of the fairy tale, the happily ever after, the man to love her for all her faults and fears not in spite of them, she wants romance, and lust, and intimacy and a connection that transcends time and space, she wants it all. She even thinks she might have found him only to be let down once again by someone who was supposed to love her.
Josh and Ash have both known pain and suffering, they've both known the hurt of sinking in the feelings of inadequacy, in the fear that you're not enough, and they've both sacrificed their own wants and needs for those they love, they've become master actors in their own lives, hiding the parts of themselves they don't think they can let the world see, but when a chain of events leads them to sharing a home, the tiny cracks will start to show, and everything they've kept hidden will finally play out in technicolour.
There is so much beauty in this story, there's a elegance to Brookes words, and raw and unyielding quality that draws you in, and demands your attention. There's a relatable feel to Be My Temptation, this story about a woman who has spent so much time feeling like she's not quite enough, that she doesn't deserve as much as those around her, that it's her lot in life to be walked over and mistreated, there's a rawness to her pain, and a beautiful fragility to Ash, and it spoke to me on a visceral level, because I've felt that, and I felt it in waves, emanating through the pages, I simultaneously wanted to hug her tight to make everything ok and slap her silly to tell her she's enough all on her own.
For me this was such a departure from Brookes previous work, BMT is a stripped down story, her past novels have touched on abuse, neglect, rape and death elicit an immediate emotional response from the reader, but Temptation's strength is based solely on the reverence of her words, it's the way Brookes weaves the story, it's the characters she creates, it's two people who haven't had the worst nor the greatest of lives, it's about first loves, and second chances, it's about life and love and the family you create, it's about accepting the person you are, and finding the person who will weather the storms with you, it's about finding beauty in the simplest moments with the people you love.

Ash is blessed with great friends, a good job, a fantastic apartment close to her friends, and a boyfriend she cares for deeply, on the surface life couldn't be better, she's watched as her best friend found the love of his life, she's seen two people who deserve nothing but happiness draw strength from one another, be the light in each others darkness, and Ash wants that soul deep connection herself, she dreams of the fairy tale, the happily ever after, the man to love her for all her faults and fears not in spite of them, she wants romance, and lust, and intimacy and a connection that transcends time and space, she wants it all. She even thinks she might have found him only to be let down once again by someone who was supposed to love her.
Josh and Ash have both known pain and suffering, they've both known the hurt of sinking in the feelings of inadequacy, in the fear that you're not enough, and they've both sacrificed their own wants and needs for those they love, they've become master actors in their own lives, hiding the parts of themselves they don't think they can let the world see, but when a chain of events leads them to sharing a home, the tiny cracks will start to show, and everything they've kept hidden will finally play out in technicolour.
There is so much beauty in this story, there's a elegance to Brookes words, and raw and unyielding quality that draws you in, and demands your attention. There's a relatable feel to Be My Temptation, this story about a woman who has spent so much time feeling like she's not quite enough, that she doesn't deserve as much as those around her, that it's her lot in life to be walked over and mistreated, there's a rawness to her pain, and a beautiful fragility to Ash, and it spoke to me on a visceral level, because I've felt that, and I felt it in waves, emanating through the pages, I simultaneously wanted to hug her tight to make everything ok and slap her silly to tell her she's enough all on her own.
For me this was such a departure from Brookes previous work, BMT is a stripped down story, her past novels have touched on abuse, neglect, rape and death elicit an immediate emotional response from the reader, but Temptation's strength is based solely on the reverence of her words, it's the way Brookes weaves the story, it's the characters she creates, it's two people who haven't had the worst nor the greatest of lives, it's about first loves, and second chances, it's about life and love and the family you create, it's about accepting the person you are, and finding the person who will weather the storms with you, it's about finding beauty in the simplest moments with the people you love.

Be My December was on my all times favourites, it utterly destroyed me and I have been waiting for this sequel. I wanted the story of Josh and Ashlyn so bad after what happened in BMD. As there was tension oozing from these two and I wanted to discover their side to the story of the event that happened all those years ago.
It was written before we knew it that these two were meant to be together and whilst BMD is Ky’s and Eden’s story , you could help there is something more than just friends angle we were getting . Ashy may be Ky’s best friend and has been there for him. However here were questions that remained , how exactly did she walk into the Crawford’s life and become such integral part. of their lives. What had made Josh tick and become the man that he is ?
Josh is a player to put it mildly. Ever since Ash has been in life , he has constantly had a new beautiful woman in his life, every day. He knows he is all that and he uses it to his advantage. The ladies keep flocking to him aware of his reputation of keeping them satisfied. His friends on the other hand are different, these people are his family. This guy will be there for you through the thick and thin, never wanting to let anyone down. Although he seems to be happy and have a good life, there one regret Josh wishes he can get back the woman that got away. The woman he is now firmly stuck in the friendship land with even though his heart wants more . That woman who so happens to be Ashlyn….
Ashlyn, what I can say. I thought Josh would be the one with issues until the end of BMD… Ash seemed to have it together and had the missing thing Josh wanted , a partner that she thought she had deep connection with . The Crawford brothers are her family, she become an innate part of their lives. Best friends with Ky and friends with Josh. She watched them after what happened four years ago and they moved on together happily slowly building up a new future.
Until Ky feel in love and Eden become part of their lives. She isn’t not mad, she doesn’t have any regrets what happened, if anything she happy as it closed a chapter of their lives. She wants they have , she deserves the same connection that she has dreamed of. A man who love her unconditionally despite who she was and who she has become.. She thought she found in her partner but he had other ideas….
Until Josh decides to stand up take notice. He recognises the pain too well, it mirrors the same in himself. The last four years have been tough for him and he ready to claim what his is for once and for all.
Be My Temptation is a fitting end to this duology from this author. Whilst this is not exactly utterly shattering as BMD it has it own moments and resonates with me on a different level by stripping down to the basics. It the same rawness familiar feeling in this book with a powerful underlying message. It may be a while since we had a book from this author but it was worth the wait. The message is something so raw and confronting something we can all take away. It something that speaks to heart and shakes your core.
Be My Temptation is a beautiful second chance story of a different kind. It another hard hitting magical story from Brookes and I couldn’t get enough of these two….

After Be My December I wanted to dive straight into Be My Temptation and I did just that, I jumped into this book with high expectations and Rachel delivered them.
Friends to lovers, is my jam.
Josh is the biggest play boy and has a new girl in his bed every night, it is kind of gross that is until Ashlyn.
He has been in love with Ash, since the night they meet but shit happens and now he is making up for the time that was wasted. He knows what he wants, and he wants her for ever!
Ash is getting over a craptastic horrible relationship and when she realizes that Josh is more then a friend. Be my Temptation is a truly wonderful, beautiful story, #teamjoshlyn
I loved watching them fall in love, watching their friendship grow into more. I loved everything.

4 Oh My Temptation Stars. Holy cow, I thought Ky was one of my favorite book boyfriends, and he is, but Josh? He more than gives Ky a run for the money and pretty much wins the title. The subject matter of this one isn't as intense as Be My December, but then Josh and Ashlyn haven't gone through the trauma that Ky and Eden went through. This story is one of lovers, to friends, to lovers again. It picks up pretty much where Be My December ended and alternates between Josh's and Ashlyn's perspective. Things are finally set in Ky's life and Josh realizes he can put himself first. Ky is going to be OK.
Josh and Ashlyn (yep, Eden's best friend) met their freshman year in college. In fact, they started as a one night stand which Josh quickly realized that he didn't want. Nope. He quickly realized that Ashlyn was his forever girl and couldn't be happier about that. When he woke up the next morning he heard voices and laughter. When Josh realized that it was Ky laughing (something he hadn't heard since that fateful night in December) and talking to Ashlyn like they were meant to be someone special to one another, Josh knew that it was either allow Ashlyn to save his brother or be selfish and claim Ashlyn for his own. Josh chose his brother. Now, four years later, Josh may have a second chance. Maybe. If he can get Ashlyn to see how he really feels about her, how he's always felt about her, instead of seeing him as the commitment-phobe playboy that he's been for the past four years. It's an uphill battle, but one that he can't even think of not taking. That he can't even think of not winning.
Ashlyn has never forgotten that one night with Josh. It meant so much more to her than it did to Josh. She cherishes his friendship and won't do anything to jeopardize it. That's why she's so confused when Josh begins to give signs of wanting more than the friendship they've had for the past four years. Her heart has been broken and there is no way that she can let that happen again. She won't survive it.
This one pretty much has it all. There's a great story with a small order of drama and a side of sweet heat. Again, if you can't stand some foul language, this one probably isn't for you. But, if you can handle it, the second Crawford brother delivers one heck of a story.
