Be ready for a bi-polar review. First the bad news There is no way that Kiln didn't write this book with months of gaps between writing sessions. So many major plot implications were repeated so often and so close to one another that the author must have forgotten he'd mentioned it just a few pages ago. The series was very specific to down play Crixs`involvement with smuggling but all of the sudden he was the ultimate smuggler back in the day with deep loyal connections, just at the right time. The loyalty shown was justified through the series but the nature of his grey jobs felt over inflated. Finally the astroid stick and the failing engine AGAIN got really old... For the good this was a nonstop chase scene with some great resolution points. One of the most exciting and satisfying books in the series.
