The more I experience and read spirituality that does not pander to a religion, the closer I feel to the source of our souls, Heaven, and timeless environments. Past lives used to disinterest me. Our concern is this life. I sought this book as a collecting completionist. A favourite road trip yielded it! More than ever, Sylvia Browne & Lindsay Harrison covered specialized ground.
“Past Lives, Future Healing: A Psychic Reveals The Secrets To Good Health And Great Relationships” is educational, medical, and scientific! It is enhanced by witticisms showing Sylvia’s mutual puzzlement and reticence of esoteric considerations. Like many hypnotists, Sylvia witnessed trips into past lives unexpectedly. Furthermore, she learned we can ask souls to show memories whence a problem originated. Medical and therapy colleagues sent occasional patients who made no progress on mental or behavioural concerns. These 237 pages share successful past-life regression therapy. Birthmarks were an astounding cell memory discovery, tangible connections with wounds from previous deaths.

One of the things I most appreciate about Sylvia Browne is that she makes no appology for her beliefs or who she is, yet she is the last person to thrust her belief system on you.
I picked up this book because it is about "cellular memory". I had a dream back in 1989 that used this word...so I was intruiged when I saw that she spoke about this (as I had never heard that term when it was used in the dream - though it is used somewhat frequently now).
She lists many regressions and healings throughout the book and gives you a prayer/meditation to do to do your own healing - which I am doing soon.
Fascinating book.

I am a firm believer of Past Lives. After finding out so much about my past lives I have learned so much about where my soul has been ... where I have been. It's great to know your ancestory but honestly that's just blood. It has nothing to do with your soul.

After losing several family member within a 9 month frame, I began to need some sort of wisdom or explanation as to why in order to start the healing process. I recommend this book to everyone I encounter whom has lost a loved one. It's one of my favorites by her and after meeting her I must tell you I believe she is indeed the real deal. Such a lovely soul.

Whether or not Sylvia was a legitimate psychic, I believe the stories in this book as they resonate so deeply with me. Truth comes from within, it is one of the many lessons I've learned in reading these types of books, and it is encouraging and empowering. If for nothing else, read with an open mind, take what you can, and leave the rest. If something helps you, let it help you, if something else does not ring true, leave it.

I found this book to be a real eye opener, I've always been facinated with the idea of past lives and past life regression therapy, so naturally i was drawn to this book, and i must say i loved it, Ive read a few books on this subject but this is one of my favorite ones, I recommmend this book to anyone and everyone who has an interest in this subject or just life in general

WOW...She has done major research to validate the past lives that come up during her sessions. The process truly helps people! This is a book I have flown through because it is so fascinating....And it emphasizes that Western medicine should take notice and use what WORKS. ;)

I started reading this book with an open mind. Sure enough that's what you needed. I'm still not totally sure if i believe everything, but one thing for sure is that I'm going to keep reading her books. She does have my interest.

Even if you do not belive in past life, it is interesting read the stories about her clients. And the point for me of this book is to keep looking to be a better person in this life.

Yo encontré interesantísimo este libro. Me la compro, además, aunque no de forma absoluta, porque a uno le han enseñado a ser desconfiado (especialmente, la vida con sus costalazos), pero ¿a qué no sería MARAVILLOSO que fuera cierto? Es solo pensarlo, me llena de entusiasmo.
Quizá tenga razón ella, después de todo. De un modo u otro, se aprende mucho, y es útil tomarlo en cuenta. A mí me ha servido.
Además, está escrito con sencillez y con gracia, y sin esa tendencia común a los libros de estudio (o "estudio", para los puristas), de venderse casi publicitariamente y dando mil razones de todo. Ella simplemente cuenta lo que sabe (o lo que "sabe", para los puristas), y ya está.

Now this book was really something...
From the moment I saw it in store I had this nudge that it is something I must read. Past life exploration being a subject I am extremely interested in, it is still odd I have never thought about actually reading a book on the subject before.
Thoroughly enjoyed the many examples of her experiences with her clients and I was glued to the book for 2 evenings in a row until I finished it.
Loved the meditation provided at the back.
Can`t wait to read more of her work.

It appears she copied from other sources. If you REALLY want to learn about past lives and current healing, get Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss, PhD.
Also, Sylvia Browne was the "psychic" who told the mom of one of the kidnapped Ohio girls that her daughter was dead. The press vilified her when the girls were all found alive. She's a charlatan.

This is a brief, useful introduction to the idea of cell memory throughout reincarnation, and to past lives in general.

Another of the many books written by psychic Sylvia Browne, Past Lives, Future Healing is at least entertaining and certainly thought-provoking. After having read her books on Jesus and the Two Marys as well as a few others I was ready for (curious about) more of her spirit-guided insights about the Other Side. Whether you believe it or not, it does make you think about what lies beyond our current lives. This one is focused, as the title implies, on how our past lives can influence our current life from residual effects of trauma or injury to special abilities that seem to have no explanation. I found it interesting and it does explore a foundational aspect of past lives that includes coming back in another life, but retaining influences, both positive and negative, from your previous life experiences. Whether you read this and other books by this author as a believer or primarily as entertainment and an escape from everything else happening today, you will most likely find it worth your time.

Everyone should read this and her other books and with an open mind. I can say this from many personal experiences. For example, a friend of mine was always terrified of water and came " to find out" that she had drowned in a past life. I met my birth father in a thrilling "episode" years ago when I attended a group type event a college near me with another friend. And as a little kid the first time I remember hearing about reincarnation I thought to myself that I already knew that????? Go figure...............

I have this book as a physical book but I found an audiobook on Hoopla, a library application. Very interesting book, adding to my education as I am doing an online Past Lives course as I look to heal my physical body, investigating past lives and cell memory.

I do love many of Sylvia's books - but all are not are a great read.
Though this one is wonderfully crafted with her typical descriptive talk and a variety of stories to prove her point. It's a quick read and the meditation she included at the end is worth buying the book for future reference.

90% of book is about stories of people whom author performed hypnosis and found out who they are in the past lives, 10% of book about cell memory (according to author memory induced by spirit) and how to access cell memory through meditation.
