Worth the wait
It was great to finally get the next wave story. It threw me off that this is 2nd wave instead of third wave, but then I realized that trick is a 2nd wave character. I think of the demons as the Third wave enemies. The only topic I felt was incomplete is the relationship between Lisa and her beast.

Love Mikayla Lane, have been reading this series for years now. But this one kinda fell flat for me. There are Soooo many characters I kinda need a flow chart to follow during the book. And I didn't really get the connect with Trick and Lisa. The characters were kinda shallow. There's really no development. Its just ok we are mates now. No banter no explanations... We never even get a back story on Lisa...or Trick. I could do with more character development and romance and less of cameos of every other character in the universe.

Omg so good!
I loved Tricks story! I cried, I laughed, I didn't want it to end. This is such a wonderful series, I go back and re-read them over and over again. This was one of the best in the whole series.

She has done it once again
I have been waiting months for this continuation of the series and once again she did not disappoint me it has every element I look and want in any book I want to read, will be waiting anxiously for the next one.

Always fantastic
I highly recommend mikayla lane's books. Start the series from the very beginning. You won't be able to put them down.
