Not my fiancé, editor, or my mother. Nope, I put down the number of a seven-foot-tall green monster I’ve never actually met in person.
Apparently, that was the best decision I ever made.
I’d been chasing a story connecting a corrupt Billionaire to Colombian drug money. And one rainy night, while meeting a contact, I was kidnapped off the street in Bogotá. Now I’m locked in a muddy pit, and the cartel wants to make sure I never publish what I know.
Ugh. Twelve days later, I’m starting to believe my government has completely forgotten about my existence. When suddenly, a massive, heavily armed green orc emerges from the jungle at midnight.
Jonus Irontree.
The male I originally met during a fifteen-minute interview, which later turned into weeks of late-night video calls. The smooth-talking orc media handler who made me laugh when I’d forgotten how. And the male I eventually listed as my emergency contact instead of my fickle fiancé.
“Sloane.” Jonus’s voice is raw. Furious. “I’ve got you.”
But getting out of Colombia alive is just the beginning. The men I’m about to expose have a long reach and longer memories. And staying close to the orc who saved me means confronting something that terrifies me more than any cartel—a forever I never saw coming.
Author’s Note: This is the third book in the Orcs Love Curvy Girls series but can be read as a standalone. There is no OM drama!
Orcs Love Curvy Girls: Orcs Do It Better Orcs Do It Harder Orcs Do It Wilder
Michele’s orc romance novellas: Cookies for my Orc Neighbor Twins for the Wild Orc Arrested by the Orc Awkward Date with a Wicked Orc Marked by the Wild Orc Marked by the Scarred Orc Marked by the Broken Orc
Michele Mills lives in California and leads a life of quiet, G rated desperation with her husband and two sons. In an attempt at a fulfilling, R rated inner life that does not include Disney movies and Nickelodeon; Michele reads and writes filthy romance and, well...filthy romance. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Cute monster romance. Big green Orc saves her and they fall in love. True mates. It’s amazing that Orcs are virgins until they find their true mate. Then they are instinctively soooo good at sex. 😜
Whew! This was a great and steamy story. Loved these two. Loved that he was the one she chose over everyone else. And good thing that she did, because she needed him most. Their connection was amazing. Her being his fated mate was even better. I loved this story so much. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Orcs Do It Wilder by Michelle Mills is the third book in the series featuring the Irontree orc family. This time investigative reporter Sloane is in Columbia and is kidnapped by the cartel at the order of one of the men implicated in the criminal events of the last book. She put Jonus Irontree as her emergency contact instead of her fiance, a wimp who doesn't appreciate her. Jonas leads a crew into Columbia and brings her home to California for safety where the two realize their attraction is eternal, surviving another attack by mercenaries and his going feral. What an exciting romantic adventure.

I just love this series by Michele Mills. Jonus is so freaking sweet—unless someone threatens his future bride—and Sloane is so ballsy. Orcs Do It Wilder is so well written. It’s full of what family should be, how care should be given, love is never an ultimatum, and fear should never come between you and your perfect forever. Orcs Do It Wilder is a superbly written love story. *** Recommended ***
Orcs Do It Wilder was such a fun mix of danger, romance, and emotional connection. The rescue setup pulled me in right away, but what really made this story work for me was Jonus. He had that protective, fierce “touch her and die” energy, but he was also sweet, patient, and completely devoted. That balance made him incredibly easy to love. 🥹💚
I also really enjoyed the connection between Jonus and Sloane. Their history through calls and conversations gave the romance more depth, so when everything escalated, it felt meaningful instead of rushed. The danger, forced closeness, and only-one-bed vibes added tension, but the heart of the story was really the trust and care growing between them. ✨🌿
Overall, this was an entertaining, steamy paranormal romance with action, sweetness, and a hero who absolutely delivers. If you like orc romance, rescue stories, fated-mate style devotion, and protective heroes with a soft side, this one is definitely worth picking up 💚📚.

Sloane Adams has been living in hell for two weeks after being taken off the streets in Columbia. She’d been tracking a lead on corruption from the US that tied in with the areas cartel. She loved her job as an investigative reporter but at times like this had her doubts. Locked in a muddy pit wondering if anyone would come for her before she disappeared permanently. Sloane needn’t have feared, Jonas Irontree an Orc she had only met over video chat, but on a feeling named as emergency contact before leaving home was already en route. A wonderfully engaging read that turns into an even bigger adventure for Jonas and Sloane after they are reunited but have to flee into the jungle to meet up with other members of his extraction team while under attack. They get out safely but the danger isn’t over yet for Sloane! Loved the story which was nicely written and whose characters were well crafted, and led to a well deserved HEA.

I'm crazy for these Irontree Orcs. Each story is better than the last. They are no frills, straight up going to move the earth, for the women they scent as their mates. Slone hangs in for 12 days after being drugged, kidnapped, beaten, and thrown into a pit, in the middle of the Columbian jungle. She put Jonus's name as her emergency contact, and she lives to be thankful for that choice. Dramatic rescue by him, his cousins, and a couple of Navy Seals. Staying in Truckee with Jonus, and his family gives her time to accept what she's beginning to realize, and he knew for sure once he has her safe, and cleaned up in a hospital room. Her natural scent confirms to him what he suspected for months of video chats. Another scent bomb is used, but eventually the bad guys will learn, even going Feral, won't make an Orc harm someone they love. Fantastic HEA. Trish. A.
I love the series. This is a standalone orc telling . Jonas and Sloane have a lot in common yet live in two different worlds. I loved her devotion to her friend and work. I loved that Jonas was able to control himself, his feelings towards her even though he had not met her until the rescue. I also appreciate that they lived across the country yet were able to talk to each other and that he not her fiancé was the one who rescued her from the cartel. Action packed. POV of each. Loved the splash of humor especially when it came to Aldar and Lucy. We also get caught up with Garlan , Ellie and Zoe from Orcs do it Better. and Anna and Keric from Orcs do it Harder. Lots of support from the orcs. Next is her friend Lucy and Aldsr's story. Can't wait .

I am loving these longer orc stories that have some action, suspense, and some biological drive that the MMC has to fight against. The this third Orcs Love Curvy Girls book, Jonus Irontree rescues investigative journalist Sloane Adams from the subject of her current article. These two started off in an online professional capacity, with the growing respect between them leading to friendship. A lot of their relationship was established prior to their dramatic first in-person meeting, so we’re jumping in to the strong attraction almost immediately. The juggle of scenting his mate & protecting her vs consent is an ongoing theme in these stories—I laughed when Jonus had to remind himself of what modern orcs don’t do. It was good to see the growing orc family together and the connection between Aldar & Lucy coming up next.
When things are bleak - an Irontree comes to the rescue!!
No sugar coating when investigative reporter Sloane has been kidnapped by a cartel and time is of an essence. She is one strong-willed lady and is working on a way to free herself even in the face of her injuries and maltreatment. When things look desperate indeed-Jonus comes with his Orc relatives to rescue her. The Irontree males are the finest males - willing to sacrifice themselves for their women. He realizes she is his mate but I love how real problems and previous relationships are treated as such and time is allowed for the development of their bond. A captivating, emotional, and steamy read with lots of feels💕.

Orcs Do It Wilder by Michele Mills is the third book in the Orcs Love Curvy Girls series, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Sloane and Jonus are next level! We have drama, we have intrigue, we have tension, we have a whole lot of chemistry and so much more!
There's a continuation of the story of corruption, illegal activities, and people banding together to fight and where possible overcome this.
This is about family, about love, about integrity, about honesty, about trust, about finding out what you truly want in life and then finding the person that will bend over backwards to give it to you.
P. S. Loved seeing familiar faces for pancake mornings, and especially Loki!
P. P. S. Oooh! I'm so excited for Aldar and Lucy's story!!! And Grogu!
A very engaging story, right from the beginning! I loved the in-depth world building and the writing, as well as the well fleshed out characters, the adventure and the romance. Sloane and Jonus have great chemistry and they complement each other perfectly. It's a good thing she put him down as her contact when she went to Columbia, because it was her orc friend Jonus who rescued her instead of her wimpy fiance. But Sloane is a reporter and she is still in danger as she writes her exposé. Jonus is the perfect male to keep her safe. Their family and friends are an integral part of the plot. I can't wait for Lucy and Aldar's story, I love those characters! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Book 3 of the Orcs Love Curvy Girls series. Can be read as a standalone.
'But getting out of Colombia alive is just the beginning. The men I’m about to expose have a long reach and longer memories. And staying close to the orc who saved me means confronting something that terrifies me more than any cartel—a forever I never saw coming.'
The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Sloane is an investigative journalist, and her last story has landed her in pit being held by the cartel. Her time is running out and she is not sure if anyone is coming for her. Jonus Irontree was listed on her emergency contact list and has been contacted; he is working to get her out. She escapes but is found by Jonus once the firefight starts. After she receives medical attention, she wants to go back to Truckee with Jonus. Jonus knows she is his mate but wants her to heal and be out of danger before telling anything about that. This is a HEA for the couple, but the series should be read in order due to the overarching storyline.
Looking forward to the next in the series.

This romance started off in a dark and dangerous place and I was hooked, first page to last. Sloane is looking to expose baddies and heads off to Columbia to speak with an informant. Yeah, do you smell a trap? ;P Sadly, she's poorly treated and kept in a pit. However, she had the fab foresight to put Jonus Irontree as her emergency contact. These two became friends online and he's more than ready to save the day. It was a surprise to him that she was his fated mate and things move pretty quickly for them, from there, despite the continuing danger... Expect to get caught up in the action, drama, danger, chemistry and steam as these two fight to survive and get their HEA. Good fun!
What a great addition to this serious. I absolutely loved this couple. The storyline was right on target with the rest of the serious. How the author has brought these people together to form this family is nothing but spectacular. The twist to this story I thought about during reading is the author speaks on modern day orc and they don’t kidnap, I would love to see one of these “modern day orcs have a daughter” hahahahaha just saying. Very good read. Disappointed have to wait until 2027 but we already half way through so I can wait for Aldar’s story with Lucy. Happy reading
This was an entertaining read but I found the previous one more alluring. I do like how these humble amazing orcs find the one. A slow burn read but then all hell breaks loose. Full of action and adventure. The lengths that Jonus went through. Now that is dedication. A very happy ended had by all!
There is a pattern to the these stories and I am curious as to who and why they are doing what they are doing. This is a mystery.....so far. Definitely worth the read.

Michele is back with book 3 of this series and it was awesome. I loved this book. Jonus and Sloan’s story was gripping, sweet, steamy and has a wonderful HEA. Sloane is held in a pit and when Jonus finds out, he will stop at nothing to him is friend; to turns out to be his mate! While these two grow closer, they must fight for their survival. This book offers a little bit of everything and is a must reread for me.

-An action-packed, heartfelt romance that blends danger, devotion, and fierce protectiveness into an unforgettable story. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing honest feedback.
Jonus is sweet yet feral when it counts, and Sloane’s strength and resilience make her a perfect match for him. With intense rescues, strong family bonds, and emotional depth, this Irontree orc installment delivers a satisfying and exciting ending. I love this series!
Michele has done it again!! This book will grab your attention from the very beginning. I love how this book developed makes you feel like you need to grab onto something as you read to make sure your grounded as it takes you on this journey and keeps you hooked till the very end. I loved everything about this book and who doesn't love having an alpha Orc come in and rescue you!!! You won't regret reading this book just be prepared to be left with a book hangover in the very best way!!
Every one in this series has the MC Orc being hit with a scent bomb. Who's making them? And the ending in this book appears to be the basis of the next book (I hope). I enjoyed the premise of this book. Lots of danger, excitement, suspense and romance all happening as they find their HEA. I suggest you start with book one as most characters are recurring in each book and it will give you a background for each.
I absolutely loved how you had a strong female who wasn’t afraid to show that she was strong with a male who loved her for every aspect that she was. I enjoyed how the book was more action based than flattery words to show how they loved each other. It was great for a book that you could get drawn into another world and forget all about your own life.

Sloane is daring, brave, and intelligent; willing to put herself in danger to expose dangerous and powerful people. I loved Jonus's fierce determination to save her and keep her safe. The way they both support each other and build each other up is heartwarming. This series has a wonderful sense of community and "found family" to go along with the sweet and steamy romance that keeps me coming back for more!.

This book has a gamete of emotions from love, loss a d scary life threatening situations, but the one constant if the great writing, as it conveys everything clearly. I love Jonas and I imagine him in my head as a green heroic Indiana Jones. I love how Sloane is no pushover, is determined and sticks to her guns, and how they put the world to rights. They make a great couple. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read.
Orcs Do It Wilder is the third book in the Orcs Love Curvy Girls series and this PNR story will sweep you off your feet. I really enjoyed this sweeping story that has it all...danger, secrets, suspense, corruption, kidnapping, rescue, love, and an HEA that is just perfect. Plus add in a feisty human female and an big, green, and possessive ORC male and you get the picture.
Sloane is an investigative reporter who finds herself in some major trouble. Jonus, an Orc, will do whatever it takes to rescue Sloan, especially when he realizes she is his mate. This is an action packed, fated mates, paranormal, orc romance with great characters, a page turning storyline, danger, suspense, steam, and a great ending. Orcs Do It Wilder is book three and a wonderful addition to the Orcs Love Curvy Girls series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Jonus and Sloane's story was absolutely fantastic! I enjoy this series and the stories get better and better. Sloane is going to expose a corruption and gets caught and thrown in a pit. Jonus and his family go to extract her and protect her. It's a sweet and spicy story and it really was fantastic.
Sloane puts down her new Orc friend Jonas as her emergency contact. So when she's kidnapped by a cartel Jonas comes to the rescue. That just how he rolls and the fact that he recognizes Sloane as his fated mate. Good story. Some steam.

I want an Irontree Orc. This is a wonderful romantic read. Jonas is an absolute sweetie. Sloane is fearless when it comes to getting justice for her friend and smart enough to know how to go about it. I loved this story and the characters involved. Another winner from Michele Mills.
