From debut novelist F.L. Morgan, comes The Timeless Bond, a soul-stirring journey through centuries, fate, and forbidden love. Where time is both a gift, and a curse.
Nova Andromeda never imagined the mirror in her antique shop would become a doorway to her past. Or that the man waiting on the other side had known her across lifetimes. Haunted by dreams she can’t explain, and a name she’s never heard, Evangeline. Nova is thrust into a reality where time bends, reincarnation is real, and the connection she feels with the mysterious Gabriel is more than just déjà vu... it’s destiny.
As Nova uncovers the truth about her origins, she begins to awaken powers that could alter the course of time itself. But with every answer comes a new danger. Especially when the ancient enemy who has hunted her for centuries resurfaces with one goal in to end the lifecycle, forever.
From the witch trials of 1693 in Salem, to the quiet corners of modern-day Massachusetts, The Timeless Bond weaves a tale of soulmates torn apart by time, reunited by fate, and determined to reclaim the love that defies death itself.
Their story began long before this life. And it won’t end here.
A delightful story of love throughout time with danger lurking around the darkest corners. The beginning and ending will have you holding your breath as Nova struggles to discover who she is, what she is and from where. Mystery and enchantment greet you, along with side characters that capture the page, as you travel through this story. Heartache and sorrow will follow, with the hope of love overcoming time itself. You will be fixated on our heroes and cheering them on every step of the way. It’s a short read, so I won’t give anything away with going into too much detail. Some spice, lots of adventure, tension and romance will have you ready to leap into this book and not put it down until that last page is read. Thankfully book two is here and you can hop right into it next for more adventures in The Timekeeper’s Journals, I know I can’t wait!
Ahhhhhh!!! F.L. Morgan weaves reincarnation, fate, magic, and forbidden love together in a way that feels both epic and intimate. The connection between Nova and Gabriel? It pulled at me in the deepest way… soft, haunting, magnetic. Their chemistry doesn’t just feel romantic; it feels written in the universe. The historical elements were rich, the tension with the ancient enemy kept me turning the pages, and the emotional depth hit me right in the chest. Every reveal had me whispering “oh my god” and flipping faster. I absolutely loved it and am already opening book two to see what happens next!
So this book, it's pretty good, especnially for how short it is and being a time travel book. There are a few questions, but for the most part. I enjoyed the book. I'm pretty sure the questions are answered in the next book. It kind of feels like this is a duet. Opener of a series, maybe Or a duet series.
I loved F. L. Morgan’s time travel story, The Timeless Bond. I’ve read many time travel novels and was always interested in how the author takes the concept of a character traveling through time and weave it into a compelling plot. F. L. Morgan masters this concept beautifully.
Nova works in an antique shop with her closest friend Ashley the owner of the shop. When Nova was a teenager, she would visit the antique shop and admirer all the old relics. Ashley took notice and eventually gives Nova a job. One day while working, Nova came across an old mirror that gave off an eerie sound causing an uneasy feeling to go through her. It wasn’t long before the mirror would change everything taking her to a faraway place and to a man she didn’t recognize. It was in this time and space that Nova learns the truth from her past changing the course of her life forever.
When you read F. L. Morgan’s novel The Timeless Bond, you will be taken along on a time travel adventure with the characters where magic, love, and destiny will sweep you away into a mirror that will uncover more than you can ever imagine.
This audiobook cast a spell on my soul—equal parts movie magic and heartache. F. L. Morgan writes like she’s channeling lifetimes, weaving words so achingly beautiful I was emotionally ruined (in the best way). Nova and Gabriel? My new favourite soul-bound duo—so electrifying, I half expected my earbuds to combust. 🔥💞
Tillie Hooper and C J Mission don’t just narrate—they embody the story. Every sigh, whisper, and clash of fate felt cinematic, like time itself was folding around their voices. Chapter 22 made me swoon. The final chapters left me wrecked and yearning for more.
I usually side-eye reincarnation tropes—but this gem had me blissfully forget my own preferences. And can we talk about the side characters? Ashley is a mysterious delight, and Gabriel's brother? Pure charisma.
Favourite quote? "...like he'd memorised me even before this moment began." Nova’s thought was mine before I knew it. Somehow, Gabriel memorized a piece of all of us.
Now excuse me while I rearrange my shelves to make room for book two—it’s finally in print, and I'm counting down the days until the audiobook hits my ears. ⏳📚💫
Amazing story that combines fantasy, history, witches and time travel. 🧳 What if the Salem witch trials were not what we thought they were? What if it was a small part of a much larger story and there was dark magic trying to block love between two people? The story starts off with hints that history is not what we believe it to be. An epic love story between Nova and a long lost love that has stolen my heart. There are some beautiful spicy scenes between the two of them without being too graphic. This has hints of Somewhere in Time and other epic time travel stories, but is still 100% unique. It is also a story of self-discovery, betrayal, and overcoming darkness to save the world. What could go wrong? 🤣 I’m looking forward to reading the other books in the series. I listened to the audiobook and loved the narrators! Give that a shot if you love audiobooks. I have a hard time listening to audiobooks, but this one kept me engaged. I received a copy of the audiobook from the author, but purchased the book to do an immersive read. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I really enjoyed the book. It kept me interested and wanting to pick up the book to see what happened next. If you like magic, time travel, history and romance , you will enjoy this book. I hoped to pick it for a FFA book club pick but unfortunately, although the story and pacing is right in the language was not. This author needs either a professional editor or a really strong writing group not so much for typos although for some reason the possessive “mine” became mines in a few places, but more because when back in the past she often had the characters using modern vernacular. In some cases it was warranted because they had learned it from someone from the future but in others it read as if the author forgot what time frame she was in. All that said. It was a fun read and I would recommended it as long as you are someone who can get lost in the story and forgive a few language missteps.
As soon as she dropped a Carry On My Wayward Son reference, I knew this book was going to be for me. 🎶 The classic rock nods were such a fun touch—and the scene of her teaching his brother to sing them? Absolute gold.
If you’re looking for a short, captivating read that keeps you turning the pages, this one’s worth it. It gave me Somewhere in Time vibes mixed with that cozy best-friend energy between the FMC and MMC.
A time-bending romance with music, love, and just the right amount of mystery ✨

The Timeless Bond hooked me from page one and did not let go. This book was such a refreshing, bingeable read - equal parts suspenseful and emotionally satisfying, with just the right sprinkle of romance.
The pacing? Chef's kiss. It never dragged, never lost momentum, and kept me flipping pages like a woman possessed. It's the kind of story you sit down to read for just one chapter... and suddenly it's 3AM and you've devoured the whole thing.
This is a debut novel for this author. I read it in less than 24 hours. It had a good story line and some spice. There were some plot holes that I think could’ve been resolved if the book was longer. Overall a good time, an easy read and I love the premise of the book.
This was such a fantastic story! And the audiobook was perfect narrated! I was hooked from the beginning and just devoured it. I loved everything about this book and I can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of the series! 10/10 recommend!
FL Morgan is an indie author I discovered through Booktok and I am so happy that I found her! The Timeless Bond is book one in her Timekeeper's Journals Series and the concept was really intriguing to me.
Nova, the main character is living in the present day, working at an antique shop when a unique mirror arrives. They get interesting pieces all the time, but something about this mirror is drawing Nova to it- literally, she feels a pull. When her curiosity gets the best of her she begins to explore the sensation that is radiating from it, which leads to a very important conversation with her mom. The mirror ends up being a portal, for time travel, and it leads her to re-discover her soulmate- the one she has been bonded with over many lifetimes.
The concept of this book is really cool. It's a love-story but incorporates time travel! I have not really read stories like this before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was exciting and I am looking forward to reading book two!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It captivated me from the very beginning. The characters were well-developed and I was invested in their journeys. As my first time travel novel, it exceeded my expectations! The characters were relatable and the love story was beautiful. I’m looking forward to book 2.
What a wonderfully written story of love through lifetimes. Nova lives in 2024, adopted as an infant she knows nothing about her origins. When she feels a pull towards an antique mirror she comes face to face with a man in the mirror. Gabriel lives in 1693 and he knows he needs to find his soul mate Evangeline, when he finds her in the other side of a mirror in another time he knows he needs to find a way to her. This is a paranormal romance with time rifts, powers to be rediscovered, and an ageless love to be rekindled. For me the plot was clever and the twist at the end makes me need the next book now.
