This was a very comprehensive book filled with a variety of ways to use somatic techniques to aid in the healing journey. The workbook was my favorite part due to the many exercises, techniques, and affirmations presented. The additional resources provided with this book are abundant and helpful. I recommend this book to those who don’t know where to start with somatic therapy or are looking for something new to try.

Good little exercise in the book like diaphragmatic breathing, Mindfulness meditation, Body scanning also some free tools you can download to farther your journey. Ways navigating trauma from anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and coping mechanisms. Was a hard hitting chapter but useful if I put it to work
