En un poblado africano vivia Jedjero, un hombre rico que tenia dos esposas, Akisi y Sita. Cada una de ellas le dio una hija: Sata y Madisu. Sata era fea y holgazana y Madisu bella y hacendosa. Pronto, muere Sita, la madre de Madisu, y esta tendra que obedecer a su madrastra, que le encarga todas las tareas duras del hogar. Se acerca una fecha muy especial en el poblado con ocasion de la celebracion de la Fiesta del Name, donde las jovenes casaderas aprovechas para buscar marido. Tras una serie de peripecias, a pesar de estar vestida con las ropas mas pobres, la belleza natural de Madisu triunfa sobre su malvada hermanastra y consigue el interes del hijo del rey. Maravillosa adaptacion del cuento clasico LA CENICIENTA, llevado a la belleza de la sabana fricana.

He has spent most of his work in publishing, as a book illustrator and as a cover artist. In 1993 won the National Children’s Book Illustration from the Ministry of Culture in 1994, the Illustrators of the Year Award Book of the Fiera di Bologna Ragazzi per-UNICEF and the 1995 Critics Prize “Serra d’Or” In all three cases for his work on the series The artistic Fricandó cases (Ediciones Destino), designed together with Montse Ginesta, author of the texts, to bring contemporary art to the world of children.

From 1998 he devoted himself mainly press illustration, working with various Spanish journals. He teaches at the Massana School of Art and Design in Barcelona
