Mabel Goodwin never expected to be taken from everything she knew. Raised by her grandparents, her life in an Arizona saloon has been predictable—until she’s abducted by slave traders. Suddenly, Mabel must do everything in her power to escape…
Reuben Thatcher is a hunter, not a hero. Tracking big game through the wild, Reuben is shocked to find Mabel, a woman on the run from savage men. Her strength and determination pull him in, and he vows to protect her. But the wilderness is dangerous, and he knows that.
Mabel and Reuben form a fragile bond that might be the only thing standing between them and death. With the slavers closing in, and trust tested at every turn, will their growing connection be their salvation… or the weakness that tears them apart?
"Saved by the Hunter" is a historical adventure novel of approximately 80,000 words. No cliffhangers, only pure unadulterated action.

Austin Grayson was born in Wichita, Kansas. He married his high school sweetheart and they currently live happily with their two daughters and an adorable Labrador.
He studied cinematography in the University of North Carolina, but his true passion was always writing stories.
Ever since he could remember, everything inside of him was looking for adventure; in books, movies, life. Now he also gets to write about it!
When he’s not writing, Austin enjoys fishing, trekking, horse-riding and Spaghetti Westerns which he loves watching along with his family every chance they get.
Austin Grayson is a good storyteller and getting better all the time. This story moved fast and the main characters were believable. You felt sympathy for their plight almost immediately. The suspense was kept high as you wondered how they were going to escape those wanting to captivate them. I really enjoyed this story as I haven't read this genre in a while but Austin made it a very enjoyable reintroduction. I heartily recommend this story and author to anyone liking tales of the old west.
The story is about a young man who is out hunting for deer and moose when he comes across someone who is out to get and kill another person for doing something wrong. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
This was really well written. I loved all the ways the story came together. It shows the better side of one stranger to another and how to care for another person in need.
This was an amazing Book and kept my interest going throughout the Novel, one of the very best that I have read in quite sometime!! I read a hundred Books a year, because I am Retired and read each day for the sheer joy of it!!
