Listen.... just when I thought no one in this series could top Brooks, Giovanni came through like here I go!! 😂 This man was everything! 🥰 Bout his business, family, and the community, where nothing could knock him off his square. Until he sees her.
Paige is accustomed to making things happen. Taking care of others, thriving at her job, planning for the future, with all things regarding herself taking the back seat. When she encounters Giovanni, she flat out tells him this ain't what you want. She has no time for feelings, as the other shoe always drops leaving her disappointed. But he pursues anyway with gentle pressure, showing her that it okay to lean on someone else, and that she can make time for herself.
Giovanni understands this too well, as he is the other side of the same coin with caring for those around him. His ex's actions cut him deep, but he is willing to try again, only with Paige. Their love story was beautiful. The way in which they quickly learned how to care for each other, and support when things got tough was everything! 🤩 Loved it!

This was really good like, dangerously close to a 5-star read. Giovanni was a force, and honestly? He carried. The man had presence, purpose, and passion. His chemistry with the FMC? Off the charts. No notes.
Now... them Bishop women? They do too much and not enough at the same time. I get that hyper-independence is a trauma response, but the FMC cried and complained constantly, then refused help every time someone tried. Like, sis you have to want more for yourself and be willing to accept it. I love that Gio didn’t back down, but it felt like he was doing all the work tryna play the game Paige’s way
Also, she was big mad at her mom but taking care of her dad like his poor decisions didn’t kick off most of her trauma. Make it make sense.
By the end, she was just in love no real healing with her family, no growth, no boundaries. Just vibes and Gio. The love story was beautiful, but the personal development? Missing. Like how could she see the flaws in Briann Denae’s rock head character Amira (cus miss girl pissed me off had me ready to rescue Saleem)but couldn’t see how her and that girl was two sides of the same coin
I did appreciate seeing more cameos from the other girls, but if I’m being honest, this whole series was romance-heavy. These women were not good friends to each other.
That said, Gio and the FMC were exactly what the other needed. A flawed but powerful love story I couldn’t stop reading. I do kinda want Spirit’s story and Maybe Kennedi too but idk. I really want to compliment/shoutout the authors romance pen like THISSSS HOW YOU WRITE A LOVE STORY OKAY, this how you make them scenes jump off the page WHEWWWW 🗣🗣

Vanni and Cinny 😍😍
This entire series was everything! Each book got better each time.
Giovanni was a man that stood on business, and showed up for Paige. He gave her space when she needed it, but let it be known he was there for her.
Their chemistry felt so natural from the beginning. Paige is like so many of us. She carried everything on her back, and felt like she had to do everything on her own. Giovanni showed her how to lean on others when she needed it. I loved how they showed up for each other. I would recommend this whole series, and I may have to spin the block on them.
I hope Kennedi gets a story one day. I hate to see this crew go, and I wouldn’t mind a Christmas update or something.

PAIGE AND GIOVANNI
I really enjoyed this series. Giovanni was a man who went after what he wanted and Paige was no exception. He was captivated by the girl with cinnamon color skin and a guarded heart. Paige was all work and no play. She took independence to the highest level. We have all been Paige at some point in our life where we take on everything and don't ask for help. I loved how Giovanni changed all that for her. He showed her that it's ok to ask for help without there being an expectation in return. The chemistry between these two was undeniable but they moved at their own pace. I loved how they supported each other. I see definitely recommend this series.

3.5 Stars!
Honestly my least favorite in the series.
I liked Giovanni & Paige relationship but they honestly aggravated me with their stubbornness especially Paige. And I feel like their relationship could’ve been built up a bit better. I still liked them as a couple, they had their cute moments. I loved how they were basically two lost souls who found each other.
Overall I just didn’t feel a connection to the characters like I did in book 1 & 2.
Even though this is my least favorite in the series, still pick this series up, it’s so good!

Whew,child!
Whew, child! When I say that C. Monet has put her blood, sweat, and tears in this series. I am not exaggerating. Every novel or installment, I felt like I could highlight every word or phrase. That alone speaks volumes about her penmanship and creative ideas when she curated her books. All three of the men Emon, Bishop, and Giovanni portrayed the definition of protector, provider, and leader. I wouldn't say that either of them crossed every "t" or dotted every "i," but they were 100% in the ring with their ladies. In other words, they weren't perfect but were present.
Paige was the catalyst that enhanced Giovanni's life. He had started building his empire, but you know what they say. "Behind every good man stands a great woman." Paige just aided in transitioning their empire into a kingdom. Giovanni was there for her to lean on because she carried more than enough on her shoulders. She was trying to be wonder woman with taking care of her father, nursing a one-way relationship, and trying to take care of her home. Giovanni was there to lighten her burdens. The strides he made to help her father were honorable. He treated her father as if it were his father. In the nutshell, Giovanni was Paige person. He was the Ying that she didn't realize to her Yang.
Ladies and gents, this series, hands down, is straight 🔥. Mrs. Monet did not come to play with the literary world. She simply had to remind us that her pen game is still quite strong, and we need to be indulging in her masterpieces. You know the drill, grab your copy today.

Paige had a lot on her shoulders when she met Giovanni. Caring for her sick father took a lot from her while working a 9-5 and keeping up with doing well there so that she could be recognized and move up in the ranks. Going out and doing something for fun was the least thing she was concerned about but when she was basically forced into going to a car show that was almost the best thing to happen to her because that is where she met Giovanni.
They were familiar with each other because of their relatives but they got to know each other on a whole different level. Giovanni was definitely someone who did for you out of the kindness of his heart and he did just that for Paige shortly after their first night with each other. He helped her with her dad, made sure she ate while she was working and was a listening ear when she needed it. He loved big and he loved hard through his actions and his words. She was not used to that type of behavior but what he was for her she reciprocated right back to him and they formed a great relationship and partnership which was nice to see. I loved how supportive they were for each other in what they had going on in their careers and how no matter what was going on, they found time to make time for each other. The ending was a nice touch because it showed just how thoughtful Giovanni was and how he really wanted to help her father and put his skills to work too.

Perfection
Now look going into this I knew to expect awesomeness... But this story was sheer beautiful perfection. The way that page and Giovanni just fell into step with each other while not quite being sure what was to come from it was amazing to Watch unfold. Paige is me and I am she, Being so independent and taking everything on your shoulders well continually telling people you're fine really resonated with my spirit. And Giovanni being the same way but wanting to open up to Paige knowing that she was indeed someone that he could But he's all towardsMade my heart smile. Giovanni did exactly what he was supposed to as a man and then some supporting her pouring into her while also offering space for her to still grow as her own person and vice versa. Is there love story was just beautiful.

Giovanni and Paige!!
Giovanni had his eye on Paige for quite some time. When Paige shows up at his car show, Giovanni decides to make his move. Paige was always giving to other people but not finding time for herself. Once Giovanni enters Paige's life, she started taking time for herself and allowing others to help her out. Giovanni saw things in Paige that other people overlooked and made her feel seen. The way that he spoiled her made me smile because it was something that she deserved. Giovanni and Paige were a lovable couple that I really enjoyed reading about. The banter, love and passion that they shared was so delightful. The peace as well as the support that they found in each other was very heartwarming. I highly recommend this book along with the rest of the books in the series. I'm hoping this is not the end of the series, and Kennedi and/or Rolani will find love as well.

Gio is the absolute turth!!!! like my man brought all the right pressure and did not let up on my girl. Made sure she was feed, did his homework n legit swept her off her feet. Like what who does that, I tell u Gio sure does!💝!! The way he moved made me fall deeper n deeper , like he can legit surpass Brooks ( never thought I would say that). The talk with the fellas n the way he moved about his business that had me n a choke hold, the man said he was LOCKED IN🔐!!!Made me believe just maybe someone is coming along to sweep me off my feet and bringing all that energy that just gets your heart thumping differently. G was just a big old teddy bear did not play about Paige and he let everyone know that. In turn she did the same, ain’t no one gonna move on what’s hers!!! Loved this story, it got in my head and heart…. CMonet girl u did your thing with this here 💝💙💝💙 JenaElla

It's giving love!
Whew! Giovanni and Paige gave love, gave intention, gave showing up! When I tell you every book gets better, it's simply facts. Emon, Brooks, Giovanni... These men were the prototypes in their own individual way. Giovanni, I wasn't sure he was ready for Paige when it was discussed in THIS- Book 1, but he showed up and showed put in a FAAFO type of way. He saw that Paige's burden was heavy and made it his mission to lighten her load. Talk about two people who were equally yoked (pause for a praise break)! Knowing that his love extended to her family and the things he did for her dad to bring awareness to kidney disease, especially in the black community was beautiful. If you haven't read this series, it's definitely worth the spin. Now I sit and wait to see if Kennedi gets a story. I mean she's the only one left and Rolani looking for a hea! Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Just OK
This was a drama free, let me love you right type of story that was very sweet in so many ways but so long and drawn out in others. It took me over a week to finish this book, which is not typical at all. It wasn't boring per say, but it did feel like a rinse cycle of very similar scenarios for Giovanni and Paige with him always going over the top for her. And don't get me wrong, I love a good soft girl era book, especially after someone has gone through so much- but this started to feel like watching paint dry. Overall, I didn't dislike it, but I didn't love it either. It felt longer than necessary and the storyline was just OK to me.

So much fucking fun! Giovanni!! 🥹😮💨 He is THAT nigga, damn! I love, love, love his relationship with Paige. I adored his solidness, self-assuredness, the way he knew exactly what he wanted and went after it, the way he talks. Yoooo, I could go on and on.
Paige? I like her bad. I love the way she carried herself, the way she talks, her confidence. And I absolutely loved that she got her Black love story.
This book was such a good time. I had fun. It was a calm, soothing read that genuinely gave me pleasure. I was giggling and kicking my feet all through. It was mwah.

I really enjoyed reading Gio and Paige’s love journey. At first, I that that she was going to work my nerves being a runner but it didn’t take her too long to realize that Gio was the man for her. Paige had a lot of weight on her shoulders and Gio took pride in helping her with lifting her loads. I like the closeness between Emon and Blake, Brooks and Taylor, and Gio and Paige. I like how Gio was there to help Paige with Perry and even got Perry his dream car again. I also like the fact that they got to spend time as husband and wife before she got pregnant with twins. I hope we get an update on the couples and how Myra and Betsy react to them being pregnant.

A great supportive read
The way Giovanni stole my heart and did not give it back should be illegal. He was present, respectful, and intentional when it came to his pursuit of Paige. They honestly complimented each other and were one in the same.
He was willing to empty her plate even though his was just as full. Their, "thinking of you" gifts let me know they listened and observed beyond the surface level things. Showing up when a feeling arise because you know deep down you are needed.

Love
This book took me through different emotions. Paige was a strong woman who was afraid of letting someone love her again. Even though she had met Giovanni before she was running from him.
Giovanni loved to love people. Sometimes, one hurts, and you can put up a wall to block everyone out.
Then you find that one, and you take the chance.
I love how they grew together and took the chance on love. They became their peace, strength, and warmth for each other.

Now how you gonna leave Kennedi out there being solo? She should finish out the series. Maybe with an older gentleman. I could see that. Not great grandpa, but still wanting kids and looking for his soul mate. These stories were what we needed. Love on a larger scale and full bodied!

True Love At It’s Finest!!!
I really enjoyed this series. I loved all the characters even put myself as being the leading lady in each book, lol!!!. I lived for every milestone they tackled together with understanding,respect and love. You ate with this series C. Monet. Are we getting Kennedi’s and Spirit’s story next?

I love this book. I love it more than the second one. I love all the books. I don’t think you understand. How did you do it the characters page and Gianni they are it the way they are it for each other I get it. I get their dynamic. They’re so many pages out there and thank you for writing about them.

My Faves
I loved them so much! I read all of them, but I felt like Paige spoke to me. She always had to be the strong one and there for everyone else, but nobody was there for her. That is until Giovanni came into the picture and relieved some of her burden. Paige didn’t know how to accept help, but once she learned it was a beautiful story.

Paige was guarded and the reason why, I get it. I loved Giovanni’s patience and most definitely his consistency with his explicit intentions with Paige. That alone allowed Paige to see that he wasn’t like all the others she encountered and that he could very much so be a steady anchor in her current life.

Rolani and Kennedi are next right?!
Paige was working my nerves in the beginning like girl if you dont snatch that man up already! Once everyone got their heads on straight it was all gas no breaks and I love that for Paige and Giovanni they deserved all the good things. C. Monet never ceases to amaze me with her pen! I cannot wait for what's next with this friend group.

Genuine Love
This book was soooooooo good. I am definitely going to reread this. The storyline was so moving… Paige and Giovanni story was the best of the series in my opinion. All were good but this pulled at my heartstrings differently.
