I usually don't read sci-fi books, but this anthology is amazing. I loved each story.
Zero by Rene Folsom ~ Great read that really has me hoping that Rene will continue with this story, maybe like her Soul Seers series. I will resort to begging her for more. I absolutely NEED to kno if it was Mason with CJ at the end or if it was someone else!
Isaac by Michael Loring ~ Interesting take on andrioids that are extremely human like. They are companion androids. They help with housework and keep their human company and help take care of them. They have human functions and can eat and actually think for themselves. They have their own personalities as well. They also have feelings.
World Gone Wrong by Bart Hopkins ~ What happens when you wake up one day and the internet is completely gone? Well, that happened to Simeon, Karina, and Messler. The Government has shut it down to make Earth better. People depend on it way too much and they don't think for themselves anymore, just google whatever they need. They find out there is an Earth 2 and there will be a lottery to go there. Really want to know if Karina waited or not.
Life Companion by ML Ryan ~ This is a story about what happens when people decide to "create" others to match what they want in a companion/spouse. I loved how this story showed how much you loose by creating your perfect match. Very interesting and an enjoyable read.
Born Ready by Katheryn Van Pelt ~ Very interesting read. I do want to know the rest of Alex's story, after she escapes again.
Show Me by Magen McMinimy ~ Yet another story by Magen that has completely sucked me in and left me wanting more. Was a great read. It was interesting how the aliens are shape shifters and what they truly look like.
New Eden by Eaton Thomas Palmer ~ Another interesting read of a mated pair, or their bond/love. Just how far will it reach through the galaxies and what lengths you will go to for the one you love. I really liked it.
Love Forgotten by Stephanie Summers ~ This is a great read about having, and using, way too much technology. When you become so dependent on it, and have artificial inteligence do everything for you, you miss out on so much.
What Happens on Destiny 2 by Tara Moeller ~ Great read. I love how both the main characters got a very big surprise by seeing each other. I wasn't expecting what the cargo ship was carrying either.
Brandy by Carrie Avery Moriarty ~ Wow, what a great story to end the anthology on. It really left me wanting more. I need to know if he came back or not!
Overall, I love this anthology. Most of the stories left me wanting more.

Stardust is the product of a contest that materialized on Cynthia Shepp's blog. It is a compilation of short stories by 10 different authors given the probe to write a futuristic romance. I can honestly say that each and every one of these authors has deserved their spot in this project.
Each story in Stardust is disconnected. None of them are meant to go together. However, this does not seem to be a problem as each story has a beginning, middle, and an end. Actually, most of them end on a cliff hanger that could possibly drive you mad because you're wanting more, and you know that simply won't happen. Ugh. But they were just that good.
I'd probably have to say the Zero got me the most. It's the perfect start to the collection and will leave you wanting more. You will probably have to take a moment to make the transition between that one and the rest. However, they were all really good and if you're a fan of sic-fi and romance in one, then this will be the perfect book for you. Especially if you like a bit of spice to your romance.
I liked that this was a unique project that was basically a result of a writing prompt given by Cynthia Shepp. There are so many talented writers out there and I truly wish them the best at what they do, and I definitely hand them my respect for trying.

I had the great honor of being given the opportunity to beta read for this amazing anthology! The amazing Cynthia Shepp and Rene Folsom have done it again and put together a fantastic book of short stories! These stories are perfect for quick reads, but each sucks you into the story and some I would love to see extended into full length books they are so great! The amount of talent squeezed into 1 book is incredible and I cannot recommend this book enough!

This was certainly a good anthology and the title says it all. A book full of romantic stories set in the future. There were quite a few good stories in here that held my attention. Show Me was my favorite out of all the stories. I loved how many of the stories were about fighting for love. I also always imagined that in the future there would be partners picked for us based on some type of personality test so I was quite intrigued with a few of the stories that included that detail into their story. Best of all was that each author had their own unique point of view on how the future would be and it was interesting to read what everyone came up with. Another one of Cynthia's contest story anthologies has not left me unsatisfied. Of course not every story will please someone in an anthology such as this, but a majority of the stories were very well written and just very interesting. I can't wait for what the next anthology story contest holds.

Stardust is an anthology featuring ten unique and intriguing short stories with a sci-fi feel. Since I'm not a big sci-fi book fan, I wasn't sure whether or not I would like this book. I had nothing to worry about. "Alliance," a poem by Jace Brantson, is the perfect introduction to this collection. What a group of stories! Various subject matter, engaging characters, toe-curling romance and adventure are just some of the things found in this dazzling collection. Written by ten talented authors, Stardust has made me a fan of sci-fi stories. The tight editing, under the very capable and watchful eyes of editor Cynthia Shepp and Rene Folsom, made this a wonderful group of stories to read. I was deeply impressed with each and every short story. I can't recommend this enough!

Zero by Renee Folsom- Fantastic! I loved the storyline, and am so glad I don't have a timer haha But I am a little crazy because I want to know who the guy is!!!!
Issac by Michael Loring- This was an awesome story! I loved the Android with human emotions as the basis. I was thinking he would fall for a human at first but he falls for a fellow Androud instead! I loved the ending, but of course wish there was more! I would love to know if they are found!
World Wide Gone by Bart Hopkins- This is definitely something I can see happening in the future! No more internet because it made people fat and lazy! Having an Earth 2 is an interesting idea. I really want to know if Karina waited 12 years!
Life Companion by M.L. Ryan- This was interesting. Scientist creating someone completely compatible to you and you buy them. I liked the twist off Jon and Emma falling in love after their Life Companions fell in love and set then up. It was funny to think yhe whole time it was the other way!
Born Ready by Katheryn Van Pelt- Really enjoyed this story. It had suspense, some fun and a little love. Alex ran away from a labor camp, boarded Dagon's ship and stole his heart!
Show Me by Magen McMinimy- This was an excellant story. I really liked the bird/human look of Jackal, it was different but cool! I wish there was a little more to the fight between Jackal and Cormac and a little more suspenseful. I know it is a romantic story but it just seemed short. But overall I really enjoyed it!
New Eden by Eaton Thomas Palmer- I really enjoyed this story. I loved the bond between Red and Ona and how that led to finding Red. It is cool that they decided to stay on New Eden!
Love Forgotten by Stephanie Summers- This was one of my favorites. Technology being used for everything and replacing basic human connections. When Lena goes to another planet that doesn't use all that technology, she falls in love.
What Happens on Destiny 2 by Tara Moeller- I enjoyed this story! Two people who met briefly in college unexpectedly meet again 10 years later.
Brandy by Carrie Avery Moriarty- This was my least favorite. Didn't really Care for the storyline or the writing. But maybe it just wasn't for me. Hope you enjoy it!
