Such a layered and detailed read which needs our attention but worth the time. The author's writing style is unique and engaging. The author brilliantly links Mahabharata and Ramayana in the plot. Even though the pages are quite big, the small chapters with lucid language make it a little complex and easy to read. Such an engrossing read for fans of mythological and mystery thrillers. I adored the striking cover.
Overall, I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to all.
🂱 If I'm saying that nothing can beat this book - then you've to put your faith in me. This 475 page book drove me insane and always gave me hope. What I considered as a supernatural element became a scientific piece in this modern era. I loved the way the author presented his thinking from the past to present in an excellent way.
🂱 Think of this book as 𝐃𝐔𝐍𝐄, but with Indian picturization. This feels unique - a rare astronomical event is going to happen in future - but everyone is surpassing the fact what will happen? A phenomenal act which was written 7500 years ago is now happening. Is this something about Earth? Or humans?
- No, it's more than that! 𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐀 is dealing with such events making the future to know about these events which can destroy a generation. It feels genocide. But it feels natural. As if nature is doomed to prepare its own future. Are you capable of feeling the destiny?
🂱 “ “𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲,” 𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭. “𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 - 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬?” - At present, Vidhun, a forensic auditor is searching for something beyond KARAHA. He wants to know its past, present and future. He wants to see it all. But what happens if science can destroy the path of a comet? What if Vidhun is successful in managing the task?
🂱 “𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐲, 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐜𝐤, 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞.” - but it is beyond any doubt that some people act like a born villain. They search for a drastic opportunity to cut all the ties to become a venomous weapon.
🂱 I felt those changes within my thinking process. The process is smooth - from past to present, it went like a pre planned process. The mixing of science with history made me realize- how much I'm unaware of my own history. Not like that they're all for real - but it's exactly why I love Indian mythology. No one knows the full proof of Indian history. If you’re a mythological freak or a science lover or want to read something special - then this book is for you.
🂱 But I'm here to believe that what I've read will have the second part. It felt unfinished. It felt I had to know more. More about 𝐀𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧'𝐬 plan. More about karaha.
"The Call of Karaha" by Arun Kumar is a brilliant blend of Hindu mythology and some ancient mysteries with modern settings, suspense, and thriller. Also, the main event of the story is happening in 2026, so there are elements of the near future.
The story is about a rare planetary alignment that is going to happen on March 21, 2026. A comet is approaching near Earth, which will also affect the Earth as well, and we will witness some history as this occurs once every 7500 years. Now some believe it's something great, and some believe it's a warning of something worse. And we will follow the characters to see what actually is going to happen on March 21.
The first thing that you will love about the book is its build up of the story. The first chapter starts with ominous sounds, and then we meet the main characters of the story one by one and also get a good picture of their past and present lives. But none of these felt like info dumping, more like going with the flow.
Even though you know about the characters in the beginning of the story, you get some sense about them, but the real plot unfolds little by little all through the story, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Another remarkable thing is how the author talks about our Puranas through the characters, how our ancestors are way ahead of us, how they know about things before, and how cleverly written the information is through metaphorical stories. It will make you proud of your culture.
The story is a little bit big, but the short chapters and easy writing with the equal measure of mythological connection with the science and the mystery and those high-stakes plots will not make you feel the length for once. The book is so well done; you would have a good time with it if you also love these genres. I highly recommend it.
𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞: "Some stories aren't just written in the stars. They are written in the everyday moments, too."
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬? This book has been creating a buzz in my bookish circle, so I decided to check it out — and the synopsis pulled me in instantly.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The cover is striking and instantly catches the eye. Both the design and colour palette beautifully complement the story’s mysterious vibe. The title is direct and spot on.
𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The narration is medium paced and perfectly streamlined — I loved how the storytelling unfolded. The language is accessible yet engaging.
𝐎𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: ✓ The story is set in 2026, during a rare astronomical event that last occurred 7500 years ago. While space researchers track it, a forensic auditor gets pulled in through his fascination with ancient texts. Meanwhile, a mining businessman is hunting for something lost in time. All of this spirals into an ominous revelation — you’ll have to read it to know more! ✓ Honestly, I was a bit sceptical because of its length, but I ended up loving it. I was hooked till the end — partly because this genre fascinates me and partly because the narration is so well done. ✓ The plot building is brilliant. The clever links to the Mahabharata and Ramayana really stood out for me. ✓ The ending genuinely felt like watching a grand finale — this story could easily be turned into a series or a film. ✓ A note though — I wouldn’t recommend this to just anyone. If you’re not into long, layered plots and epic thrillers, you might lose interest midway. This book demands patience and a genuine love for such elements. But if you’re like me and enjoy this genre, it absolutely deserves a spot on your shelf!
A rare celestial event in 2026 sets the stage for this story where science, mythology, and human ambition collide. The Call of Karaha is a unique blend of thriller and mythical fantasy that keeps you turning the pages.
The story follows Vidhun Abhimanyu, a forensic auditor with a quiet fascination for ancient texts. His journey pulls him into a world where the past and present start to blur. On the other side is Aryan, a powerful mining tycoon whose obsession with secrets could either uncover great truths or cause chaos. The tension between them builds as time runs out, making the book both gripping and thought-provoking.
What I enjoyed most is how the author weaves together astronomy and Indian mythology in a way that feels fresh and exciting. The celestial event isn’t just a backdrop, it drives the entire story and makes you think about how thin the line between fact and legend can be.
Beyond the suspense, the book also explores deeper themes like greed, power, legacy, and identity. It’s not just about uncovering secrets but also about asking whether myths might carry warnings for the present.
The writing is clear, fast-paced, and atmospheric. At times it feels like you’re watching events unfold on a big screen.
This book is perfect for readers who enjoy cosmic mysteries, myth-inspired thrillers, and fast-paced stories with depth. It’s sharp, imaginative, and leaves you questioning the truths we often take for granted.
The Call of Karaha was such an unexpected ride. Imagine this: a forensic auditor obsessed with ancient manuscripts (Vidhun) and a billionaire tycoon (Aryan) crossing paths because of a rare astronomical event that only happens once every 7,500 years. I mean, the stakes were sky-high right from page one.
I loved how the story weaved mythology, science, and thriller vibes into one seamless narrative. It felt like reading Dan Brown but with an Indian cosmic twist. The upcoming celestial event on March 21, 2026, lurking like a ticking time bomb, kept me hooked, especially because everything they were doing felt like it mattered on a universal scale.
What really stood out for me was how detailed and atmospheric the writing was. Some parts were dense with mythological or technical explanations, yes, but honestly, it made the whole setup feel authentic and well-researched. Vidhun’s curious mind and Aryan’s determined, resource-rich approach balanced each other perfectly.
If you’re into books that combine hidden prophecies, cosmic alignments, and characters chasing secrets buried deep within history, this is your next pick. It’s not just another thriller – it’s one that makes you wonder about the mysteries of our universe long after you’ve closed the book.
The Call of Karaha by Arun Kumar is a wild mix of cosmic wonder, ancient secrets, and “oh no, the world might be ending” vibes.

This isn’t just a race against time, it’s a mash-up of mythology, science, and cryptic prophecies that make you wonder what’s been erased from history (and why). Every chapter cranks up the tension as the celestial countdown ticks closer.
I loved how the story flips between high-stakes investigation and goosebump-worthy myths. One minute you’re decoding ancient warnings, the next you’re knee-deep in modern-day danger. It’s fast, it’s gripping, and it keeps you guessing till the very end.
If you’re into thrillers where the past and present collide, secrets could rewrite everything, and the stakes are literally cosmic, The Call of Karaha is 100% your next read.

📖 Final Verdict: A cerebral thriller that grips you from the first page and doesn’t let go. Unputdownable. Unpredictable. Unforgettable.
Reading The Call of Karaha wasn’t just some wild ride through fantasy land—it kinda slapped me with a few life lessons I didn’t expect. The biggest one? Never just swallow what people tell you. Question stuff. Stay nosy. Seriously, we accept way too much without even blinking.
What really blew my mind was how the book mashed up history, science, and myth—like, none of that stuff sits in its own little box. It's all tangled together, and honestly, that’s where the real magic happens. Wisdom’s hiding in the weird overlaps, not in the neat categories.
Oh, and knowledge? Double-edged sword right there. Depends how you use it—could be awesome, or it could blow up in your face. Vidhun—dude’s basically a curiosity-powered bulldozer—reminded me grit matters, even when you’re stumbling around in the dark.
By the last page, I was sitting there, way more alert and just itching to poke at the world a little harder. There’s always something lurking under the surface, you know? Makes life a hell of a lot more interesting
I read The Call of Kahara: Awakening of the Past and I really enjoyed it. At first, I picked it up because the idea of a rare space event mixed with ancient secrets sounded interesting. But once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. The story follows Vidhun, a forensic auditor who loves old texts, and Aryan, a billionaire looking for something hidden in history. As strange events begin to happen before a big astronomical event in 2026, their paths cross in unexpected ways.
What I liked most was how the book mixes science and mythology. It brings in stories from the Mahabharata and Ramayana and connects them to the mystery in a clever way. The writing is simple and easy to follow, and even though the book is long, the short chapters keep it moving. It felt like watching a thriller movie unfold in my head. If you like mystery, myths, and stories that make you think, this book is a great pick.
What really grabbed me about The Call of Karaha was how it just smashes together myth, science, and a whole pile of mystery—and somehow, it actually works. That cosmic event at the center? Had me low-key checking the sky like, “Wait, is this about to go down for real?” There’s something wild about seeing old-school prophecies and all that ancient knowledge mixing with lab coats and tech—makes you question if we’re missing something huge in the cracks of history.
Now, Vidhun Abhimanyu? Dude’s got that relentless curiosity, and honestly, I felt like I was right there with him, poking at secrets. Aryan’s chasing after him, stirring up all this tension and power games—I ate that up. No part of this story drags, either. The pacing is tight, every chapter just pushing you closer to that big cosmic payoff. It’s not just a wild ride; it kind of worms its way into your brain and makes you wonder: what if our world’s hiding even crazier stuff?
The Call of Karaha isn’t just some run-of-the-mill thriller. It’s a wild ride, honestly. Like, you dive in thinking you’ll get some twists and turns, but then—bam!—suddenly you’re knee-deep in ancient prophecies duking it out with cutting-edge science. I legit lost sleep over this one, flipping pages at 2 a.m., promising myself “just one more chapter” (yeah right).
What really got me? The way it messes with your brain. You walk away questioning everything—history, what we actually know, whether the universe is hiding some cosmic prank from us. The characters? Not cardboard cutouts, thank God. They’re actually interesting, and the plot twists aren’t just tossed in for the heck of it—they hit hard. Oh, and that cosmic event build-up? Chef’s kiss. If you’re into stories that mash up myth, science, and suspense—without feeling like some recycled formula—this one’s absolutely worth your time. Just don’t blame me if you forget to sleep.
The story follows Vidhun and Aryan—two men unknowingly chasing the same mystery from totally different angles. One is decoding forgotten prophecies, and the other is chasing something buried deep in time.
I was unsure at first because it’s quite long, but once I got into it, I couldn’t stop. The plot is intricate, with surprising links to Indian mythology like Mahabharata and Ramayana, which gave it such a rooted yet mysterious feel. The ending? Honestly felt like a movie climax.
This isn’t your average fast-read thriller. It’s layered, detailed, and needs your attention. But if you’re someone who loves epic, science-meets-myth stories, it’s worth the time. Would recommend it to everyone, who love books layered with mystery and surprising thrillers. It has grand plots that makes you think and connect dots which I personally enjoyed , it won't disappoint.
Reading "The Call of Karaha" was a real eye-opener, and it subtly pushed me to approach life with an open mind and a sense of wonder. The way it blended myth and science really brought to light some surprisingly deep insights hidden in stories we often overlook. It really drove home the impact that knowledge can have – how powerful it is when used thoughtfully, and how risky it can be if we're not careful. Vidhun's unwavering quest to uncover hidden facts inspired me to always ask questions, keep learning, and think carefully about the information I come across. This book made me realize that answers to today's problems might just be found in the lessons of the past. It went beyond just being a fun read; it gave me a fresh perspective on how everything in our world is connected, in all its complexity.
This book caught my attention most on account of the author’s writing style; which was clear, vivid and tense without being too much. The descriptions caused me to have a perception that the cosmic event was beyond what was in the world, while the calmer instances let me have my own reflection time. What appealed to me about the story was how the fast-paced actions were interwoven with more deliberate sections almost as if the writer wanted me not just to read but also ponder upon some issues. The main idea – that old truths and myths which are thought forgotten may come back in our modern age – struck me as very potent and topical. Through science mingled with mythology, an author formed a world where logic with belief collided so that his story became not only intriguing but also mind puzzling.
From the outset, "The Call of Karaha" seized my attention completely. What truly struck a chord was how it seamlessly wove together ancient mythology's mysteries with the wonders—and worries—of today's science. The rare celestial event is rendered with such vividness that you practically feel the tension mounting with each passing moment. Vidhun Abhimanyu, a man of both curiosity and determination, is a character you quickly find yourself rooting for, and Aryan adds another layer of suspense. The story kept me hooked, thanks to its plot twists, unresolved questions, and the sense that something truly significant was unfolding. It's a book that's exciting, thought-provoking, and a pleasure to read—precisely the sort that lingers in your mind long after you've turned the final page.
The book caught my attention not only because it was a story but also made me reflect on the lower truths that we often take for granted. The blend of science and mythology was interesting, however what really got me intrigued was how the suspense kept on increasing until the occurrence of this unique cosmic event. Vidhun, felt so real to me; his inquisitiveness and quiet resolve made me stand by him. One statement which stayed with me very long time he said “Sometimes the answers we seek must lie buried not in the stars, but in the stories we chose to forget.” Another powerful one was “When power blinds, truth becomes the most dangerous weapon.” These words exactly captured why this story seemed so deep and significant.

The biggest thing I learned from The Call of Karaha: Awakening of the Past is that knowledge can be super powerful but also kinda dangerous, depending on how we use it. The story made me think that truth's usually buried under history, myths, and sometimes even on purpose—but if you're curious enough to dig, question, and link things up, you can find it. Through Vidhun, I got how being curious and sticking with it pays off, but Aryan's chase for power was a lesson in how going for it without thinking can backfire, it got me thinking, science and mythology aren't just at odds, they're actually two different paths to understanding the world the lesson I learned is pretty straightforward: the key is to find a balance, not to try and control everything.
“The call of Karaha: Awakening of the past” is an amazing blend of mythology, science and ancient fiction.
The story was gripping and intriguing from the first page. The story revolves around Vidhun, a forensic audit and Aryan, a billionaire interested and involved in history.
Connecting Mahabharta with Ramayana is an amazing storytelling idea. The book follows deep interesting bond between Vidhun and Aryan.
The writing style is simple easy to follow with a perfect character building. Although the book is interesting I couldn’t connect to a few parts as I am not that involved in mythology!! Otherwise the book is great…
what really caught my attention while reading The Call of Karaha: Awakening of the Past were the surprising plot twists that were cleverly added to the story. Just when I thought I had the whole picture, the book threw me a curveball with a revelation that flipped everything on its head—could it be some secret prophecy, a wild scientific twist, or maybe the real reason behind a character' these plot twists were totally natural and kept the story interesting and me hooked every spin made the countdown to the big space show more intense and layered these smart twists in the story made it stick in my mind and kept me hooked till the very last page.
I really loved this book because it takes a unique space event and spins it into a mystery with old myths and secret truths. the writing was super engaging, it kept me glued to the page as science and mythology mixed in some wild, surprising ways Vidhun's character was super unique because his strength wasn't about brute force, but about being super curious and never giving up. A line that stayed with me was, “History never forgets—it only waits for the right time to be heard.” Another powerful moment was, “The stars don’t just shine; they remind us of what we choose to ignore.” I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys thrillers that make you think as much as they entertain.
When I finished reading The Call of Karaha: Awakening of the Past, I was hit with a wave of feelings—super excited, totally amazed, and a bit starry-eyed. the countdown tension had me super tense, so hitting the end was a relief and got me thinking I was totally blown away by how mythology and science mixed together so well, it got me super curious about the hidden truths in our world there was this cool vibe of mystery, like some questions just stay unanswered, and that's what kept the story sticking with me I was super thankful for this wild ride that kept my heart pumping and got me thinking deep.
I grabbed The Call of Karaha the second I read the blurb—it just screamed, “You need this!” Cosmic weirdness colliding with old prophecies? Yes, please. I'm a total sucker for stories that dig up weird links between ancient history and modern-day stuff. Plus, the whole “crazy astronomical event shakes up everything” vibe? That’s my jam. And can we talk about the main character? Not your cookie-cutter action hero, but some nerd obsessed with dusty old tomes. Way more my speed. Honestly, it’s just this wild mashup of suspense, ancient secrets, and space oddities. How could I pass that up?
I really liked this book, it felt like I was right in the middle of a huge puzzle the blend of science and mythology just clicked, it was like they were meant to meet I really liked Vidhun; he's not your usual hero, but his curiosity and bravery made me feel a connection with him. the countdown to the space thing had me super tense, and every curveball made me pause and wonder what's gonna happen next what I loved most was how it mixed up dreams with the real stuff, making me think that secret truths could still change things around us.
As I closed the book I was still in its world—the way science and myth blended together had me thinking about how much of history we’ve forgotten or ignored. The plot was exciting but it had me wondering about the secrets that lie beyond our understanding waiting to resurface. Vidhun’s search for truth and Aryan’s lust for power were two sides of human nature and that stayed with me long after the last page. What lingered most was the sense of wonder—the idea that knowledge old and new can shape our destiny. It’s a book that leaves you thinking not just reading.
I picked this book up 'cause the idea just blew my mind right away that one-in-7,500-year cosmic thing was super unique, and I was wondering how it'd tie science with myths I've always loved books that get me thinking deeper, and this one was all about keeping me on edge while also diving deep. the thought of secret truths from the past popping up now got me super curious and eager to jump in More than just a thriller, it felt like a journey into mystery, knowledge, and discovery—which is exactly the kind of story I love to read.
The Call of Karaha: Awakening of the Past is a myth, science, suspense mix that I couldn’t put down. The story feels new, an ancient prophecy meets a rare cosmic event and the pace doesn’t let you. I liked how Vidhun’s logical, grounded approach contrasts with Aryan’s reckless ambition, it gives the story balance and depth. Every twist came at the right time, I was curious to know what’s next. It’s fast enough to thrill and slow enough to linger. A good read that pulls you in till the end.
If you're someone who loves decoding prophecies, enjoys cosmic mysteries, and wants your mythology served with a thrilling edge, this book is your next obsession. It's a reminder that some truths hide in plain sight — and some can shake the world.
