✨ So. Much. Action. Tension. Steam.
Jenna Gunn has really ramped up the steam, high-energy/non-stop action and suspense in the next book in her Agile Team Falcon series! Justice is known as the calm and funny one of the Team, but behind the jokes and smile is a very serious and possessive man. He’s a natural born protector but with a locked-down heart. Rosalie is a scientist with limited experience who is immediately smitten with the smoking hot alpha who rescues her and saves her life.

Rogue Mission is the fifth book in the Team Falcon - Agile Security & Rescue Team 2 series. I loved this story so much, it is a fantastic addition to an great series. Rosalie Baxter is a researcher who finds herself in danger. The ASR team is called in and it is Justice 'JT' Cruze who is the man that delivers the protection and possessive.

Entertaining steamy read
Rogue Mission is book five in Jenna Gunn’s Team Falcon – Agile Security and Rescue Team 2 series, and like its predecessors, it didn’t disappoint.
Justice “JT” Cruze is the fifth team member to fall. The story opens with a mission to rescue kidnapped geochemistry specialist Rosalie Baxter from the villain who abducted her. The operation is a success, and the chemistry between Justice and Rosalie sparks immediately. But the danger is far from over when Rosalie becomes the target of a hit ordered by her kidnapper, and Justice, along with the rest of Team Falcon, must pull out all stops to protect her and uncover the motive behind the attacks.
Both Justice and Rosalie are strong leads, and I genuinely liked them. Rosalie is a bit of a nerd… smart, curious, and unafraid to step outside her comfort zone. Justice is the kind of alpha I enjoy in romance: commanding, possessive, but with a heart of gold. He falls first, and hard, though she’s not far behind. Their relationship escalates quickly—love declarations by day two, baby plans by day four—which felt far too rushed for my taste. There’s a touch of push and pull, but nothing overly dramatic. The blend of action, suspense, and romance delivers a rollercoaster ride that’s undeniably entertaining. And the steam? Hot. Justice ticks all the boxes: protective, take-charge, and fully capable.
That said, I struggled with the writing style. It felt almost too fast-paced with action scenes stacked one after another, which, while immersive, made the story feel breathless and occasionally disjointed. This led to some noticeable plot holes: Ryker is in the car with Justice and Rosalie one moment, then inexplicably gone the next. In the police station scene, a “blonde woman singing like a bird” is mentioned, but there’s no context. Who she is or what she’s singing about remains unclear. Several actions lacked motivation or explanation, leaving the reader guessing (or confused) about the why and what. The use of the near-virgin trope—a thirty-two-year-old woman with only one prior sexual partner—stretched believability. There were other inconsistencies and missed opportunities, but I’ll leave it there.
Despite the pacing issues and a fair number of proofing errors, I enjoyed Justice and Rosalie’s story and would rate this one a solid 3.

Justice and Rosalie’s story is intense, action-packed, and thrilling. It also includes lots of heat, spice and humour as they find their footing together.This book evoked a need to keep reading until the last page was read. Justice (JT) and his team are tasked with rescuing research scientist Rosalie and then keeping her safe from the greedy billionaire who is determined to keep her from revealing his secret. He never expected that the curvy science nerd would claim his heart in one fell swoop. The former player finds himself unable to think of anything other than keeping Rosalie safe and claiming her for his own. Justice‘s intensity borders on obsession, much to the amusement of his teammates, though some recognize his lovesickness as they succumbed to it too on past missions. Justice is surprised to find that the curvy scientist is feisty, ingenious and fierce, determined to elude her captors and find safety, even on her own. When he finally gets around to introducing himself, Rosalie’s trust in him thrills Justice. When the mission goes sideway, Justice is beside himself, suddenly unable contemplate life without Rosalie in it. Fortunately, his teammates are able keep him on track and Rosalie is soon under his care again.
As it happens, Rosalie returns his feelings in full force, and she truly sees him and accepts him for who he is. She knows that he is a protector through and through, and that doing his job means that he will use any means necessary to protect her and any client. She is braver and more resilient than she herself thought she could be, and willing to fight beside her man if necessary. Rosalie is grateful and happy to be accepted by his teammates and their partners, and to be part of the family they have created. Justice has made her feel safe, seen and empowered. They just suit each other, in and out of the bedroom.
I am happy to recommend this riveting book.

Justice would do anything to save Rosalie from the bad guys. He thinks she’s a damsel in distress but instead what he finds is a woman with the smarts and drive to save herself! What the quickly realize is that the two of them have to work together to protect her and stop the bad guys. The men who work for Agile Security fall hard and fast for their women and Justice is no different. Will Rosalie run toward Justice or run away?
Justice is a member of Agile Security’s Team Falcon. He is familiar with Rosalie because he became aware of her due to the events of the prior story. Justice was a little creepy with how he was so attached to the idea of Rosalie before even meeting her. Normally I would complain about it but it works in this story somehow. His single-minded determination to save and protect her makes that attachment a little more believable. Justice isn’t multidimensional but he is that perfect blend of smart and protective and kind and supportive to make his character likable. Rosalie is being held hostage by some very bad men who want her to force to test some soil samples that were found during events in other books in the series. She manages to sort of escape from captivity which shows her tenacity. Rosalie is resilient and smart and learns quickly how to work with Justice and the team to bring down the bad guys. Other Agile Security team members appear in this story.
This is an alpha protector, instant love story. The story is too short for meaningful character development and growth. This is an action-packed story. While these stories are all related, you don’t have to read them in order. I liked this story and will read more from this author in the future.

I loved the adventure, danger, suspense, romance and humor all woven through this amazing story! When Rosalie Baxter, a geochemistry scientist is kidnapped, she has no idea by who and why. Justice Cruze, with Agile Security and Rescue is assigned to lead her rescue team. He has never met anyone like Rosalie and the lengths she goes through trying to first rescue herself (hilarious!). Fleeing from the place where she was held, doesn’t end the threat on her life. She had discovered a substance in soil that has an unknown hitman planning to end her life. Justice is determined to not let that happen as they use all resources available to search for the man who is planning to kill her. Rosalie has had a sheltered life and has no experience with the attraction she begins to feel for him. The excitement ramps up as they meet obstacle after obstacle in their determination to keep her safe while ending the threat. When the final threat comes from the least expected place, will he be able to keep her safe this one last time? Hot romance and thrills in every page as they fall in love while facing unknown danger. I loved the way Justice expressed his emotions as he realized that he was beginning to fall in love. Loved it! I absolutely love everything about this entire series and it just gets better and better.
Rogue Mission the 5th book in Team Falcon which is a spinoff of the Agile Security & Rescue Series. It follows former SEAL Justice "JT" Cruze and Rosalie Baxter geochemistry specialist.
He and his team have been tasked to rescue her and the sample that got her kidnapped. While the rescue was successful it had some hilarious circumstances followed by a dire life threatening one. Unfortunately the danger is over even after her rescue as her kidnapper has put a hit out on her.
Their story is action packed, suspensefilled, dangerous, captivating and emotional with twists, turns and betrayals along the way. Oh and the undeniable chemistry that's pulling them closer and closer together.
You can't help but get immersed in the characters and their world as she brings them to life on the pages of her books. I loved the comradery of the characters and how the storyline flowed seemlessly from the beginning to the end. I must say their story won't be easy to forget. I can't wait to see what happens next in Ryker and Jade’s book Ryker’s Protection.

This can be read and loved as a standalone but I left be having glimpses of my characters in these pages. What a interesting plot. My goodness, she does action and heat so well and she keeps me on the edge if my seat wondering what we'll get into next! Her worlds are dangerous and filled with ready and willing men and the women they drive crazy.

Ok, ya know when you meet a supporting character in the first book of a series and you follow this character in every book and think to yourself, “self, this character needs their own story?” Well this was Justice for me. He stood out in all the previous books of this amazing series. With his sarcastic wit and endless charm, you couldn’t help but love him. Who knew that a tiny little self described nerd would bring him to his knees? This story starts off at warp speed and doesn’t let up…at all. Totally hilarious…I expected nothing less…exciting, craziness galore and a twist that I did not see coming…bravo Ms. Gunn. If you haven’t read the previous books in the Agile Security & Rescue series do yourself a favor and read every one of them. You need to get to know all the characters, especially Justice, and then read his story and be amazed! Did I mention that Justice is my favorite? His Rosalie is pretty awesome too. I’m now waiting patiently…not…for the next story…please write fast Ms. Gunn!.

They are escaping when she is electrocuted by an energized railing. She is successfully resuscitated with CPR and an AED. JT is more obsessed with her wellbeing after her wellbeing. Rosalie is also enamored.
This begins the journey for JT, Rosalie and the Agile Security team. JT and Rosalie give in to their attraction. Their chemistry is off the charts. The team recognize JT's obsession with Rosalie.

This book is thrilling in all the best ways! Jenna Gunn's Agile Security & Rescue series get better with each installment. This book is all about Justice (JT) and Rosalie. Polar opposites in every way, she is feisty, quiet, controlled, a scientist ; he is a jokster, strong, controlling, who loves the noise of life. The team is presented with the case as there are forces trying to eliminate Rosalie, the recluse researcher, and JT takes on the case as he is immediately attracted to her photo. Nothing prepares them for their physical meeting, the chemistry, the attraction, the tension, the banter is A++, he becomes obsessed -in other words he falls first-. Their passion is explosive, their moments are sweet, But the threats are far from over, can he be in love and rescue her?
This is a fast paced, graphic, twisty book with lots of great characters, two MCs that are flawed but willing to adapt to be together.

This story takes me on a breathless heart pounding journey. Justice has already set his mind on Rosalie, the kidnapped scientist. She is fragile but smart. When Justice finds her, she has already designed her own escape. Only she was stuck in a hilarious dilemma that Justice tries not to laugh while getting her out. Their sexual attraction is sky high, even when they are running for their lives. She thinks in scientific terms and he calculates everything in survival terms. There is a bounty on Rosalie’s head and Justice swears to protect her. The team closes range on them. The other women are sweet and caring to help her integrated and the guys are all combat beasts to protect their women. When the assassin on Rosalie turns out to be someone unexpected, Justice is almost too late to save her. Rosalie is resourceful and buys enough time to save herself. I think Rosalie is just as much a bad ass as the rest of the team, even without combat training. The characters are a little OTT, but I love the thrill and romance.

This is another fantastic story in the Agile Team Falcon series. Jenna Gunn has brought action and drama with high heat that will leave you wanting more. This is Justice (JT) Cruz and Rosalie’s story, you can’t help but fall in love with these two wonderful characters. Justice is the one who you can depend upon for keeping you laughing and yet, his jokes hide a secret hurt that keeps him from getting close to women. All bets are off when he sees Rosalie’s picture. Rosalie Baxter is a research scientist who has been kidnapped and it’s JT’s team who have been tasked to find her. There is a whole lot to unpack in this story, just like all the others in this series. These two find themselves falling for each other despite what’s going on and how much JT tries to hold back. In the end, their happiness is the most important, and they going to have their happily ever after.

Wow! And another member of Agile bites the dust! Justice has seen Rosalie's photo and he was startled by her. Now they're on a mission to rescue her, she was kidnapped and held hostage for her scientific brain. She and Allison, (Secret Mission) had obtained a soil sample, whatever is in it is something Allison's adopted father wants, and he's determined to get it!
Justice is surprised by how plucky Rosalie is, she looks on the bright side and doesn't expect everyone to help her. She uses her scientific mind for all sorts of solutions, she's brilliant, an admirable heroine.
Justice beats himself up a lot about trying to keep people around him safe, stemming from when he thinks he let his sister down.

Through it all
Justice and Rosalie. Justice has been a hoot in every story and now it’s his turn to find a HEA. When his emotions come into play though, it isn’t just humor, but a whole barrel of deep and serious emotions. Rosalie was mentioned in the previous book and now we see just how intelligent she is, and not just about soil! They are put the wringer from the beginning since Rosalie didn’t know he was there to rescue her and then she was electrocuted in one heck of a crazy manner. The team is all together even members from team one and a heck of a curve ball is thrown in there with Beasts abduction. The original client and head bad guy finally get Justice and the threat against Rosalie was taken care of. A few new characters were introduced and I hope they all get a story, especially Spence and Ryker! The ending was beautifully described and probably the most romantic one of the series so far! A great team and spin off series.

This story has had me glued to the pages from start to finish. I loved the banter in this, the humour was placed right and it helped to balance some of the darker moments and showed how this Team dealt with all that they saw and handled. I loved Justice and Rosalie together, they were made for each other and were so good and strong together, I really loved how they understood and accepted one another.
There was a lot going on in this story and I loved the journey it took me on. I thought the characters were wonderful and loved the connections on display, the twists and turns, the chemistry, the family they all were and the love that was all around them. I am so ready to read the next story in this series, I am loving the journey that this series is taking me on.

Woah!!! I loved reading, Rogue Mission (Team Falcon: Agile Security & Rescue Team 2 #5) by Jenna Gunn because it was a steamy and spicy story about Justice and Rosalie. Their chemistry was so off the charts. It was instantaneous for Justice being in close proximity to Rosalie. The mission he was on was dangerous and he was falling in love with Rosalie. There definitely was a lot of unpredictable scenes that had me on the edge of my seat wondering how everything was going to play out. Justice's character was alpha and protective of Rosalie. He would do anything and everything for her. Rosalie's character was a researcher and was quiet. But she had a spicy side to her as well. These two characters were made for each other. I received an ARC of this story and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review. Highly recommend reading this story and the series.

Another great book in this series. Despite the seriousness of rescuing Rosalie who had been kidnapped, once Justice reached her the dialogue between them both was so entertaining. Rosalie came out with some cracking comments which certainly eased the tension.
The storyline was a mix between a suspense thriller and a romance, with Rosalie and Justice having some very steamy sessions as they got to know each other.
The camaraderie between Justice and the rest of the Argile Security & Rescue Team was to the front, serious when in an operation, banter when they weren’t.
There was a twist to this story which I wasn’t expecting.
All in all a very readable story which I thoroughly enjoyed.

In my humble opinion, this is one of this author's best over-protective bodyguard romance/adventure stories. It's fast-moving but clear and concise, the MMC and FMC are both super likeable characters, and the attraction between them starts immediately. No angst. No dilly-dallying. No games. They work (and play) together seamlessly.
Justice has been the clown in other stories; the one to "never" succumb to elemental emotions. But things change when he meets Rosalie. His team mates hardly recognize him, but nothing will stop him from protecting her from the contract killer out to get her. Things get dicey, but then they always do.

Rogue Mission is book 5 in the Team Falcon - Agile Security & Rescue Team 2 series and is the action filled supenseful romance of JT and Rosalie. As with the other books in the series this has plenty of action and danger, but also two main characters that couldn't be more opposite - JT who is outgoing, loud, a jokester, and always up for a good time and Rosalie, the quiet, brilliant, shy and reserved scientist who has a quiet understated strength to her - and pairs them together to rescue her and keep her safe. I loved their interactions and the growing attraction throughout the story. Lots of action and danger, plenty of love, a beautiful found family, and a HEA.

Oh wow, this fast paced book grabbed me on the first page and didn’t let go until the very last word on the last page. Justice (JT) and his team are involved in rescuing Rosalie, a brilliant research scientist who has been kidnapped. From the first time he saw her photograph he knew there was something special about her, and their first meeting confirmed it. The attraction between them was sizzling and as he and the team do everything they can to keep her safe from continuing threats to her life their relationship develops rapidly. The story is intense, full of twists and turns, red hot action, and surprise moments. So looking forward to reading the next in this brilliant series
