I picked up the Texas Murders without realizing it was the third book in A Texas Ranger Thriller series by James Patterson and Andrew Bourelle. I honestly wish I had known about the first two books before starting this one- I would have loved to fallow the story from the beginning.
That said, I don't feel like I needed to read the previous books to understand or fall in love with this one. The story stands strong on its own. The characters are well- developed, the pacing is steady, and the suspense keeps you tuning the pages. Even without the backstory, I felt fully invested in.
Now that I know it's part of a series, I'm actually excited to go back and read the first two books to see how everything began.
I really enjoyed this book the author did a great job depicting Texas landmarks and the states terrain. Definitely suspenseful and left me wanting to read more I wish this one had more than just three series to it
This was great. No foul language. No overly descriptive sex. A good old fashion book with lots of twists and turns and crime/law situations. Narrator is perfect!
