Mykal the Monkey is the second character in my children's book series "Super Unique Beast"!
Mykal is a determined young monkey with a dream, a big heart, and a true sense of adventure!
Born with physical differences that set him apart, Mykal wonders if he'll be able to follow in his dad’s footsteps as a treasure hunter. With the encouragement of his loving father and motivation to chase his dreams, Mykal sets off on a journey that’s not just about treasure—but about discovering his strength, bravery, and determination.
As the author and illustrator of the Super Unique Beast series, my mission is to blend storytelling, illustration, and social-emotional learning while championing diversity and self-acceptance to inspire kids to celebrate who they are!! These books are joyful, colorful, bold and carry a powerful message!
