Assigned to work with the enigmatic Detective Agustin Perez, Loriah must navigate the charged tension between them while unraveling a chilling web of lies tied to an exclusive underground club, the Enchanted Sanctuary. As the investigation deepens, an uneasy alliance with Agustin’s dangerous twin, Ares, forces Loriah to question everyone’s motives, including hers. I got completely swept away by All The Stolen Voices from the very first chapter all the way to its jaw-dropping ending—and what an ending. 🤯 I’m still reeling.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a police procedural, and I forgot just how much I enjoy the fast pace, the unraveling of secrets, especially when the characters put everything on the line to uncover the truth and seek justice. This book reminded me exactly why I love the genre—but with a sharper, more emotional edge.

The story follows Loriah Fairsbane, a detective seeking a fresh start in the NYPD, as she’s partnered with the brooding and complex Detective Perez. Their first case together? The murder of an Indigenous teen, which leads them into a dark and twisted world tied to an exclusive underground club. As they dig deeper, not only do personal and professional lines blur, trust is shattered, unexpected alliances form, and truths rise to the surface—with devastating consequences.

This book has everything I love:
✅ Crime thriller
✅ Romantic suspense
✅ Tension and banter
✅ Love triangles
✅ Twists and secrets
✅ A fast pace that never lets up

The build-up to the finale had me saying “just one more chapter” well into the night. And when I saw I was 98%… 99% done on my Kindle, my heart was still racing. Then the last page hit me like a freight train—I literally sat there in silence thinking, “What just happened?” I need book 2, sooner than later!

All The Stolen Voices puts a spotlight on the real-life epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW). It’s a heartbreaking and necessary spotlight on young women lured away from their families for nefarious purposes—often across borders, often without justice. The story powerfully reflects ongoing issues in both the U.S. and Canada, and the emotional weight of that reality lingers long after the final page.

I received an e-arc in return for providing a review.

This was a spicy romantic police thriller that was Olivia Benson x Elliott Stabler coded but with a love triangle (possibly even squarish...with a TWIN? ) and featured missing indigenous women in NYC. Detective Loriah Fairsbane moves to NYC and joins the NYPD to get away from her past. But her first case pulls her back into the world she desperately tried to escape when a pregnant Native American teen was found murdered. Assigned to work with the enigmatic Detective Agustin Perez, she has to navigate the charged tension between them and fellow officer Christian Jackson, while unraveling the secrets and lies of an exclusive underground club with a dangerous ally.

I ate this book up! It's a fast paced story about corruption, betrayal, and desire with an undercurrent of finding justice for young women. All of the characters are multidimensional, raw, and relatable and the romantic entanglements had me hanging on for dear life. There were so many twists and turns that eventually everyone became a suspect and I didn't know what to believe. The ending left me screaming and needing more answers!

Now about this relationship entanglement.....it's juicy and oh so scandalous! I LOVE a love triangle - the drama! and this had me itching for it all, especially when you add in a fourth....who is a dangerous twin.... 🥵

Thank you so much to Scarlett for the advanced copy! I can't wait for the next one! 🖤

New York homicide detective, Loriah, is navigating her new job and colleagues, a big case involving multiple murders and human trafficking, and a love life that would leave anyone in her shoes frazzled.

I very much enjoy love triangles, and this one has a fun twist. What I thought was a typical love triangle gets even more interesting when we throw in a fourth person who is also a twin 👀... and he might be my favorite! All these options definitely give our girl some emotional whiplash, but it was exciting to see the different dynamics play out. At the same time, I truly have no idea where things will end up long term and I like that there's isn't a clear answer yet!

We've also got an underground club scene, and some murder mysteries to solve. The combination of thriller mixed with spice isn't something I get to read much of and I really like the two elements together. It adds more depth and interest around the crime story.

The ending also has me on my toes for the next book! Such a fun debut!

Fave quote:
“I know her better than you think,” he shot back, his voice cold and laced with vulnerability. His voice dropped to a dangerous whisper, “I know the way her lips taste.” My stomach lurched. “And the little way she gasps when she’s kissed just right.”

Thank you to the author for an early copy of the book to review!

Having got to know the author on Bookstagram, I was really looking forward to reading ‘All the Stolen Voices’, and I’m happy to say it didn’t disappoint. It feels like the perfect mix of gritty detective story and emotional slow-burn romance. Detective Loriah Fairsbane makes a strong first impression as a heroine. She’s competent but human, confident yet clearly carrying emotional scars from her past. It’s refreshing to see a female lead who can be tough without losing her vulnerability.

The story itself is heavier than the usual romantic thriller. The opening case involving a murdered Native American teenager hits hard, and the book doesn’t shy away from the reality of trafficking, corruption, and exploitation. At times it’s uncomfortable reading, but in a good way. You can tell the author wanted to shine a light on social issues as much as tell a gripping mystery.

The romantic side is complicated, which I enjoyed. There’s definite chemistry between Loriah and her partner Detective Agustin Perez, but then his brother Ares appears and things get messy. Add Christian into the mix and you have a proper emotional tangle. It feels believable rather than soap-opera dramatic, mostly because the tension plays out against the backdrop of real danger.

Stylistically, the book moves fast. Some chapters are punchy and cinematic, others slow down for introspection or moral conflict. Scarlett Rosewood keeps the pace tight and the tension building, and although a few transitions could have been smoother, I was hooked by the end and the final twist genuinely surprised me.

If you like your thrillers with strong emotion, social depth, and a bit of heat, ‘All the Stolen Voices’ is worth picking up. It feels like the start of a series that could grow into something special. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for the next Detective Fairsbane story.

I first connected with Scarlett on Instagram, and she quickly became more than just a fellow book lover; she’s a peer, a friend, and a sister from another mister. I’m thrilled to be part of her Street Team for her debut novel and to support her incredible journey as an author.

Scarlett has introduced me to a whole community of talented writers and has been a huge support on my own path. So I’m especially excited to share my early thoughts on her upcoming novel, All the Stolen Voices.

The story follows Detective Loriah Fairsbane, who joins the NYPD in search of a fresh start, only to find herself confronting the ghosts of her past. As she investigates a harrowing crime, she’s pulled into a forbidden romance that complicates everything. This romantic thriller is gripping, atmospheric, and left me wanting more with every chapter.

The novel officially releases in October, but Scarlett’s Kickstarter launches in June—don’t miss it! Follow her now and get ready for a thrilling ride.

This book is very intriguing from the beginning. It makes you wonder who is the bad guy. What’s gonna happen. Loriah is such a badass. And she keeps holding her own while men around her try to control her. And Iove that. The Perezzes are really good characters too. I like the addition of twins and that they are completly different from each other.

But the ending. It made me mad. In a good way. When an ending makes me mad and wants to make me throw the book across the room. Then I know im hooked. Really need to read the rest of the series. I know this book is not out yet. But need the other two asap.

Overall, this was a great read! I do love a good detective novel and this follows the female lead detective trying to solve a case of murdered young women.

Scarlett did a good job setting the scenes for all her different locations and the characters were all well developed. The story was a good one, but there's still unfinished business to resolve... I believe this is slated to be a trilogy, but don't hold me to that.

There's definitely sexual tension between the FMC and her male counterparts and *honest review here* some of those scenes took me out of the story, but that's just because it's not my preferred reading material style, but it wasnt enough to make me step away from the story and there were only a few so the overall story kept me in.

If you like following detective-style stories set in a bustling city, you're going to want to check this one out in October when it comes out. Stick it on your TBR now!

Enchanting!!!!

I loved it from the get-go from when you first meet Loriah, Jackson, and Perez. Right away, you are put into the crime scene. Into what has been unfolding, and what brought small town Loriah to the NYPD. We are also introduced into the steamy love triangle Loriah finds herself in.
The book is beautifully written I enjoyed from start to finish. The plot was amazing, you really felt for the women that Loriah was trying to seek justice for. The love triangle/ romance aspect is amazing, the way that you as the reader are pushed and pulled and rooting for one or the other (or maybe both), you are just as confused as Loriah in the prospect of who is the right person for her.
The ending got me and the plot twist really had you grabbing your seat and not knowing what was going to happen. I cannot wait for book 2!!! This was an incredible read and highly recommend.

Mystery, thrills, and spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️ all woven into one delicious story. The imagery is so well done; I could see myself walking the streets of NYC and peeking around corners at the nightclub.

Whodunit? Who will Loriah choose?!
Can't wait for the next one in the series!

The city is not a backdrop but a live, breathing reflection of the story in the romantic thriller “All the Stolen Voices.” Seeing the settings, feeling the weather changes, and tasting the food makes for a fully immersive experience.

Detective Loriah Fairsbane is determined to find out who is behind the crimes against young girls, but at the same time, she has a life, and her romantic entanglements heat up along with her latest case. As her relationships grow and the case progresses, tension builds. The main characters all have past traumatic experiences or connections to each other that make them realistic and relatable.

Everyone becomes a suspect. Everyone. The author provides just enough hints and evidence about who is behind the trafficking ring that I was constantly changing my mind.

The end will leave your mouth gaping and leave you ready for book two.

Stop what you are doing and move this book to the top of your TBR list! The dialogue throughout is seamless, leaving the reader feeling as if you are there and very much a part of the action and romance. The characters are so well written that once the book is over you can’t leave them behind, continuing to wonder where they are and what’s happening and if they will be OK. As soon as I picked this book up and started to read, I wasn’t able to put it down until I was able to devour every piece of this story. This is such an exciting and fast paced thriller with the perfect splashes of romance throughout. The only comfort I have is knowing there is a second one coming hopefully very soon!

The vibes were immaculate. The genre alone made me apply for the ARC—I'm a sucker for thrillers. While this leaned more into romance than I expected, I still appreciated it just the same. It was a wild ride: perfectly paced with twists you won’t see coming.

I wasn’t surprised by the mastermind’s reveal, but honestly? Loriah should’ve known better than to trust him. That said, I get where she’s coming from. (Also—can this please just be a why-choose with twins? Lmao.)

The ending was solid. A thrilling read I’d definitely recommend to other lovers of the genre.

When Loriah leaves her small town for a promotion in a bigger city, she never expected the same types of cases she needed a break from would follow her. Now, she’s under pressure of not only trying to solve a case but protecting a key witness. She finds herself unable to sit around and just wait, so she takes matters into her own hands enlisting help of some not so law abiding men. Loriah now finds herself working undercover in an exclusive club where her victim worked. With a few love interest Loriah is torn between the warm friendly officer, her secretive partner or his non law abiding twin. Be prepared for the roller coaster of WTF’s that is this book! Fair warning you are left on a cliffhanger.
*Now, if you’re here about the spice, there is open door spice…. The spice level all depends on you…. I read some pretty heavy stuff so personally I’m rating this a 1 maybe 2, but I know those who don’t do much spice would rate this higher. Do with that what you will.

Eeekkk I knew it!! And even though I guessed right I was still contemplating the person I picked! Great deception in the writing.

The romance is also mixed in nicely. I’d say a good 50/50 with romance and mystery.

The flow is upbeat and has you continuously reading.

I also love the rep behind women trafficking and indigenous girls being targeted.

Can’t wait to read more! Ahhh that ending!! There is definitely still more mystery to solve and I’m harboring my theories to Scarlett DMs 🤩

Loriah and Agustin have me in a chokehold. This book was so damn good. I don’t read thrillers all that much but when I tell you I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, not even exaggerating. There were so many twists and turns, angst, spice. This book had it all! It does end on a cliffy but I promise it’s worth it.

✨ Multiple POV
✨ Thrilling Police Drama
✨ Banter and Chemistry

I love a good police/crime drama and this one delivers at every turn! There are secrets, betrayal, connections that are well thought out and aren’t insanely obvious, and a little bit of spice 🌶️

Detective Loriah Fairsbane (love this name) wants to start fresh in the big city after serving on the force in Texas. She finds herself in a similar situation, however, in trying to solve the murders/disappearances of young girls in the city.

The setting is gorgeously described, the banter is fluid and feels natural, the sexual tension is so satisfying and the life-or-death tension keeps you on the edge of your seat! With a few twists that’ll audibly make you gasp, this one is a sure fire page turner you don’t want to miss.

The plot is well written, the dialogue is easy & flows well and the characters are likable & relatable. The story follows Detective Loriah Fairsbane as she moves from a small town in Texas to the big city and gets embroiled in a gut wrenching case that will change her life forever. Danger looms on every street corner and she has no idea who she can trust. It’s an unputdownable ride!

A great detective romance book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It took me longer than planned to read this because a few unexpected things came up, but this book will keep you hooked and not wanting to put it down. The FMC is great and the male main characters are great as well with a surprise from a male main characters brother. I love detective books, and this one was a perfect fit for me to read! I personally think this book would make a great tv show or movie even! A great read by a great author!

i fell in love with Loriah within the first few chapters of the book. i was just getting out of my slump & thrillers seemed to be the best thing for me at the time, so this was beyond perfect. this book has twists, turns, angst, spice… i mean what doesn’t it have?! the chapters were very fast paced & kept me roped in throughout the entire book. i didn’t like Agustin in the beginning chapters but he did grow on me veryyy well & i’m so glad he did. it was just bc he was a jerk, don’t worry. he definitely got better & took on a gentlemanly part as the story went along. BUT THEN….. entered Ares. the man of my dreams. the man i can’t stop thinking about. the man i need to know more about. he’s mysterious in all the best ways & i need him in my life

I read this book like my life depended on the ending. Scarlett Rosewood’s world-building and plot were entirely absorbing. I found this book posted on Instagram by an advance reader and immediately sought it out. I read the entire arc within 48 hours of receiving it.

Before I say more, I want to acknowledge and appreciate the respect & awareness shown to human sex trafficking, MMIW, and the visceral true to life trauma responses in this novel. It isn’t often that an author manages to maintain victim dignity while inviting the reader into the sordid and deviant world of a monster. (Even if is all fiction - art speaks to life and brings awareness to people who wouldn’t otherwise understand!)

OK, off my soap box: this book gets full stars as a sinister psych-thriller with grisly scenes and heartbreaking resolutions reminiscent of Hutchinson or Larsson, coupled with a steamy, twisted detective romance that distracts from the violence with some open door 🌶️🌶️ scenes. In the layered web of various organized criminal enterprises, nearly everyone is painted in shades of morally gray. Loriah is left with no one to trust and a personal conviction that she must save these girls. The story leaves no doubt of the horrors visited upon the victims, nor the traumatic impact on the survivors. The characters’ emotions are raw and the plot unrelenting as the pace quickens toward the climax.

There’s a twisty bit right at the end that gives the reader a real sense of what it feels like to be lost in the haze of trauma - where the PTSD kicks in and you’re honestly unsure which reality is the one happening now, or even when “now” is. Just when you think your heart rate can drop back to normal the author sneaks in one final shock, which has left me full of anticipation for book two.

I’m not a big “spice” reader and can’t really rank that sort of thing, but I will say that there is a clear distinction between the violence of the crimes and the consensual nature of the actual romance - which was a really satisfying which-will-she-choose reluctant allies to lovers story.

Please be extra careful to check your triggers and take good care of yourself while reading this book. If you’ve experienced sexual violence or trafficking there are pages in this novel that may take you right back to those times and places. If you, like me, read these books in spite of it, feel free to reach out for support or guidance on which chapters I would skip on a bad day.

ARC Book Review: All the Stolen Voices by Scarlett Rosewood. Thank you for choosing me as an ARC reader in exchange for an honest review! This book is set to release on October 7, 2025.

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ /5

Recommendation: If you’re looking for a romance thriller that balances emotional depth with a tense, gripping mystery, this is absolutely one to pick up. I haven’t connected with a book in this genre for a while, and this one has really set me on a path of finding more like it. I’ll definitely be counting down the days until book two.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Emotional Damage: ☠️☠️☠️ /5

Originality : 🖊️🖊️🖊️🖊️ /5

Writing: 🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀/5

Likes: I was engaged from start to finish. The character backstories were strong and added so much weight to the story. I especially appreciated Loriah as a Detective. So often FMCs in traditionally male professions are written as heartless or detached, but here her vulnerability is put on display through her internal thoughts when handling these cases of rape and murder involving kids and young women. It felt raw and real. I also loved the interplay between her potential love interests. It wasn’t insta-love (thank goodness), but instead an exploration of complex relationships and shifting feelings (Team Ares. Yes, I said it, though I don’t think it’s going to happen). The mystery and tension behind the serial murders were chilling, while the crimes themselves were heartbreaking, making the stakes feel incredibly real.

Dislikes: I kind of caught on who would be the villain relatively early, but the plot did make me second guess myself at times, so it was still really good. Augustin made me so freaking frustrated. Honestly just hand me book two immediately. Please.

This book is a romantic detective thriller with an unputdownable plot. The fast-paced chapters are exactly what I crave in a book as they keep the momentum high and the tension tight, making it nearly impossible to stop reading. I’ve been reading stories with strong female characters lately, and Detective Loriah Fairsbane is absolutely going on my list of favorites. Strong, flawed, and resilient who carries her scars like armor, and her emotional depth made me root for her from the very beginning. Her struggle to outrun her past while diving headfirst into one of the most harrowing cases of her life made her POV more interesting.

And Detective Agustin Perez. OMG! he completely stole my heart. The tension between Loriah and Perez was electric, adding a slow-burn romance and restrained longing that makes you want to scream into your pillow because they’re so close, but so apart. Their dynamic was intense, charged, messy, and absolutely addictive. Then enters Ares, adding layers of mystery, threat, and temptation and somehow making the plot even more gripping. Maybe I will love him a little more than Agustin because of everything he did for Loriah. On the other hand, Christian, the steady, loyal presence in Loriah’s life from the starting made the emotional stakes feel even higher.

What I loved most about this book was that it wasn’t just a romance, or just a thriller. It was about truth, trauma, survival, and finding connection even in the darkest places. This book was haunting and made me feel anger, hope, longing, heartbreak- all of it. Desperately waiting for the next book because the way this one ended will haunt me forever!

This is a contemporary police procedural with a bit of romance, which is not my norm, but is quickly becoming a favorite to read when I'm in a book hangover or burning out on fantasy.

Advisory: Check the trigger warnings as this is built around very difficult subject matter. However, the subject matter is not overly in your face, descriptive, or overdone. It works well for the plot development and is done in a very respectful way. I have covered the information that could be triggering in this review with a spoiler mark. Proceed with caution when opening them.

Spice Index: 3 Chilis - Spice is detailed an explicit but mostly vanilla (Plot is > Spice)

What I Enjoyed:
- These characters are absolutely freaking phenomenal and amazing. I was very into the way the author built the characters and had them interacting within the world.
- The spicy scenes are STEAMY and I could totally see a lot of these things happening in real life.
- The plot is very much built upon the discovery and attempt to destroy a that is leaving behind

What I Didn't Enjoy:
- If you are familiar with securing a crime scene and/or any law enforcement procedures, this book doesn't always follow those. However, the story is built in such a way that it doesn't always glare at you.

For fans of J.D. Robb, James Patterson, and The Weight of Shadows.

Thank you to the Author and her team for the ARC. All information contained herein is my true and honest voluntary review.

This is a detective novel set in modern day NYC and follows the behind the scene world of human trafficking.

Author Rosewood did a fabulous job setting the scene and building likeable and relatable characters as well as show casing some of the grittier realities people face in a much darker world, very much alive and well today.

I really appreciated the way she used a love triangle to really draw the reader in, leaving many questions and twists but also creating a clear picture of the quickly moving information the detectives were gleaning.

My favorite character was Ares. His charisma and mystiques definitely hooked me and I can't wait to see how his character evolves in upcoming novels. Loriah was relatable and believable in her actions and frankly just the guts shee had in taking matters into her own hands, being unable to trust anyone around-- and with good reason.

Overall, this was a great read and I'm excited to see what else this debit author releases.

This one is for all the Crime Junkies out there. The mystery, the thrill, the cat & mouse game...It's all here. Couple that with a broody, sexy MMC and a saucy FMC and it's a done deal for me. There's a whole lot of banter and flirting in this book. Scarlett did an amazing job at creating tension from very early on. I felt the thickness between Agustin and Loriah from the gate & I'm here for it. I will say that there was some spice, but the book is definitely plot driven. The few spicy scenes didn't satisfy what I craved...Once you read the book, you'll know why. Something else to celebrate are the surprises and twists! I had my suspicions early on, and even found myself yelling at the air a few times. I enjoyed this read. I can tell every element was well-thought out. The story was well written....but that cliffhanger....It left a sour taste in my mouth. I highly recommend this book.

The first of a planned trilogy and it is coming out HOT! This thriller ticks all the boxes you could want: mystery, suspense, spice (a few scenes will leave you needing to fan your face), and some twists!

Loriah Fairsbane is new detective at the New York Police Department, but not new to the force. She finds herself with a prickly new partner that she can't get a good read on and a case that turns out to be so much more than just a murder.

This story leaves you wondering who the suspect is the entire time while being immersed in New York, romantic drama, and tension from all angles. The writing reminds me of noir detective style novels with a modern flare and does not ever disappoint.
