Good story line but riddled with errors...
Ruin Reborn is a Sci-Fi/Fantasy that follows the story of Ruin who, created as a weapon of mass destruction by the God of War, tires of his life of annihilation and seeks to experience another world. Through the ministrations of a magical being, he is reborn into the body of a human slave, and has to learn to exist in a strange new world, which is a mixture of the Roman Empire, a classic world of magic, and a video game.
I read this in just over 24 hours. The storyline is unique (based on my reading experience), non-stop, and the fight scenes were epic. It is clear that the author has an impressive vocabulary and made good use of it. I do think some of the vocabulary used is a bit challenging for younger readers; I had to use the dictionary tool on my Kindle to understand some of the words. This is not something I have to do very often.
This book contains no foul language, and although some of the characters visit brothels, there is no explicit detail. Some of the battle scenes describe some mild gore.
I do not believe that this book has been professionally edited; I spotted multiple spelling mistakes (including one of the main characters’ names), inconsistent application of capitals, and repeated descriptions of characters.
