Areya surrendered herself to Cynthia to protect those she loved—shattering Ash’s heart in the process. Now a prisoner in the hands of her greatest enemy, she searches for the one known as the Celestial One—the only being who may hold the answers she needs to defeat the gods once and for all. But truth is never easy, and the history of Gardonia is more complex than she ever imagined. As Areya uncovers long-buried secrets, she learns that victory will demand more than strength or strategy. A sacrifice looms on the horizon—one that will determine whether Gardonia can be restored or lost forever. War is coming. Love is on the line. And fate is demanding its final price. Areya must how far will she go to save her world? And can she find her way back to the one who was always meant to stand by her side? Or will this be the end of everything?
There were multiple times where I had to just sit there and process what I read because so much information was coming at me. There are a lot of storylines happening at once, and while it can feel overwhelming, you can tell it’s all leading somewhere important.
What really got me was the emotion. This book is all about compassion, forgiveness, and owning your mistakes, and it hit me hard. There were so many moments that made me cry especially the apologies, the family conversations, and the quiet heart-to-heart scenes. Those moments hurt in the best way.
Areya really stood out to me in this book. Her kindness and ability to love and forgive everyone even when it costs her, felt so powerful. She has such a big, sensitive heart, and I connected to her a lot because of that.
The character development in this book is so good. I loved seeing friendships grow, relationships deepen, and characters actually change. Some scenes had me laughing out loud because the banter was so fun, and others completely wrecked me.
The plot and world get bigger in this book in a way I didn’t expect, and there were reveals that honestly blew my mind. By the end, I was emotional, overwhelmed, and completely invested.
This book made me feel everything, and I cannot wait to see where the story goes next.
I read a lot of fantasy novels and the Fated series left me wanting more. I am impressed with the author’s ability to take you on this adventure with all the characters. Treat yourself to this amazing new author.
I absolutely loved this book!! It was an exciting, breathtaking read and I cannot wait for the next book in this Fated series. It amazes me that each book was better than the last, and they have all been outstanding reads. I love this new young author!!
RESTORED by Cosette Verga Fated Series #3 | Romantic Fantasy
✨ A sweeping, emotional installment that widens the world, deepens the mythology, and pushes Areya toward the queen she was always meant to become.
After surrendering herself to Cynthia to save the people she loves, Areya faces imprisonment, uncertainty, and the weight of a prophecy she can no longer outrun. Searching for the Celestial One leads her across new realms, forgotten histories, and truths that shift everything she believed about Gardonia’s gods. Meanwhile, sacrifice looms on the horizon and the fate of her world demands clarity, courage, and choice.
Ash, the fated bond she was forced to break apart from, remains at the center of her heart. Their connection stretches across distance, destiny, and the cost of war as both of them fight for a future that seems increasingly fragile.

💜 Restored delivers powerful character work, growing relationships, and discoveries that reshape the future of the series. A strong, heartfelt continuation with so much momentum heading into the next book.
Cosette Verga has created a beautiful world within the pages of The Fated Series. The story line is full of deep, beautifully flawed characters, starting with Ash & Areya. The world she created is full of magic, villains, vampires, shapeshifters, giants, dragons, and so much more. Along the vast journey these characters go through, more and more couples are introduced and become vital as the storyline progress.
That said, there are technical errors in this story. There is a huge missed opportunity to make each book about a different couple, and really provide the readers with the depth of character building we have become accustomed to with romantasy works. There is quite a bit of repetition in all of these books. Things are consistently repeated, and it almost feels as though the repetition is done intentionally to extend story. It is completely unnecessary. I was able to overlook these things as I have beta read quite a bit, however, I worry readers won’t be so forgiving. I would highly recommend that the author get a couple of really good beta readers who are going to be real with her and not worry about hurting her feelings. Authors want to know that their work is good and ready to be made public, they don’t want smoke blown up their butts.
It’s clear that Ms. Verga has a beautiful storytelling ability, there’s always refinement that is needed on the end product. Regardless, I wouldn’t have traded the journey I took with Ash & Areya, Calyx & Reize, and all of the other beautiful characters she has introduced me to. Ms. Verga, if you’re in need a good beta reader, hit me up.
—ARC review— THIS is the kind of book that doesn’t just tell a story—it reaches into your chest, cracks you open, and gently puts you back together again, at this point I’m STILL BROKEN. I went in expecting an emotional journey, but I was completely unprepared for how deeply this book would make me feel. I did not think I could feel so deeply for a character as I did and I’m utterly shattered. While we all knew it was necessary after reading on, Verga wrote this plot so well that I FELT the grief and heartbreak of the other characters.
Verga writes pain, trauma, and healing with such raw honesty that it feels achingly real. Every emotion is layered and earned—grief isn’t rushed, love isn’t easy, and healing is messy in the most human way. The characters feel broken in ways that mirror real life, and watching them confront their pasts and slowly reclaim themselves is both heartbreaking and profoundly hopeful.
What truly sets Restored apart is its message: that restoration doesn’t mean returning to who you were before, but becoming someone stronger, softer, and more self-aware because of what you survived. The romance is tender and powerful, built on trust, patience, and understanding rather than quick fixes. Every small moment of connection feels monumental.
By the final pages, I was EMOTIONAL, fulfilled, and BEGGING for more. Restored is for anyone who has ever felt shattered, unworthy, or afraid to hope again. It reminds you that healing is possible, love can be safe, and you are allowed to take up space exactly as you are.
An unforgettable, soul-deep read that will stay with me for a long time. I cannot wait to read on through this series!

It’s hard to put into words an appropriate review of this book. The plot is very solid and interesting which I think is the main intrigue for the series. The romance is a bit spiced, but not too much. However, I am a bit underwhelmed with the female main character. She has fairly crippling anxiety, which has barely improved through three novels. At first, I felt that her struggles were endearing and real but now, it is getting a bit annoying- to be blunt. I actually wish the main character was Reize at this point, because I think she has built her character a bit more intriguing and strong. The other characters are having some interesting interactions and developments but the female main character is just so lame in some of her interactions. There is one part where each character is being praised and I honestly didn’t know if I could finish the book because it was just so positive and cheery. The tone just doesn’t match the plot set up. Plus towards the end, the FMC is still overly emotional and sort of stealing emotional reactions that should belong to other characters, given how the author has formed connections between them. I may continue to read, given that I am interested in Reize’s story line, but I’m probably going to read something else to help clear the bad taste from the FMC.
I am absolutely amazed by yet another awesome book in this series. She gave up everything to save them all and endured so much at the enemies hands. He would give anything to get her back and no one can stop him. They always seem to find each other despite how they are pushed or forced apart. I love how fiercely they love each other. Oh what it must feel like to be loved like; that sounds wonderful. I love the comical banter between many of the characters. I laughed a lot with all things related to Cody. He’s quite the character. It broke my heart towards the end…the loss of one of my favorite characters (How could you! lol). I thought, why can’t this character be saved somehow or brought back to life with her powers. I guess that was the only way to wake them perhaps and if so quite unfortunate. I’m very curious how the rest of the story will unfold. I enjoyed the extra chapter about Reize. I’m very curious about that mark and what it means exactly and I am hoping her and Calyx are fated mates.
This book was SO good the world building is never ending but not on a bad way we just keep discovering more places that are super important! We got so much plot development we got introduced to so many new characters and we formed stronger bonds with the ones we already knew! We learned so many things about different realms/worlds we learned about the prophecies and what they mean and we learned that our future is not set in stone and can always be changed! We learned that having real change requires great sacrifice... We got to see Areya transform into a confident powerful queen! We got to see Areya and Ash's relationship prosper and learn more about the Fated bond and how that bond can always protect you! We learned about forgiveness to people who have done horrible things because they were trying to survive. Such an incredible book series! Read this series if you haven't!!
So much happens in this book. New family is found, new powers and identities are revealed and new paths are carved. I love that the paths to solutions are not dependent on one person and one mission but that it is a path walked by many. Everyone helps and builds the foundation for new possibilities. We learn much more about so many persons. Background, power, purpose,.... The friendships and relationships in this book are wonderful and bring a little light, hope and laughter to a world shadowed by looming doom and sacrifice. You get so many characters and they each have their own personality, struggles and grief. What really broke me was Xanth in the beginning... I know exactly what it feels to not fit and feel useless. This book is about hope, love, friendship, forgiveness, belonging, vulnerability and kindness.
Restored is book 3 of the fated series.ash, Tess, the gang have gone to find Cynthia and take the kingdom back. After an attack areya has the give her self to Cynthia and the nightmare she has to endure will leave on in total dispair. In areya new prison she finds out what her true destiny is and even though it's crushing her, she's accepted it. Ash gets everyone ready to fight to free areya. Here is meets a cousin she never knew about and her brother. This series has been fast pace and a real page Turner. In this series cosette introduces us to new characters and one can't help to fall in love with them as well. I wish cosette everything of the best for future as her writing has hit the shelves by storm. Excited to see you have in store for us in book 4.
Spoiler-Free Restored is the 3rd book in Cosette Verga’s Fated series. Another amazing read! We follow Ash and Areya and the family that they have formed; both by blood and by choice. We are introduced to new characters and you will fall in love with all of them too. Cody and Vernon, can I say more? The writing once again is beautiful, so descriptive. You really, truly feel you are along for the ride when reading this series. The one question that permeates this book in the series; is fate truly pre-determined or do we have the ability to influence the outcome? Areya struggles with this throughout the book.
You will laugh and if you love the story and characters as much as I do, make sure you have some tissues handy for this one.
This is incredible. This had me feeling everything from joy and laughter to anger and irritation to deep sadness and even grief. I love these characters, they feel so real.
Areya, Ash, and their friends and family learn that they must save the world from the three evil gods. Areya must gain the power to unmake them, but in doing so so it has been prophesy that she will have to sacrifice her own life. Ash would do anything to prevent her from dying and does everything to find a new path. But when they are drawn into other plots and schemes will they be able to find a way? Will they all survive to fight the battle that awaits? Are they even aware of the power that lives within them? What could they do with knowledge that has been lost for centuries?
This book is Brilliantly done. The story evolution, character building, the unexpected twists and turns, the blood curdling moments, and the heart shattering aches you feel are REAL. After reading Book 1 "FATED" and Book 2 "AWAKENED", I just had to keep going on this Journey Cosette Verga has weaved and Book 3 "RESTORED" delivers beyond expectations, beyond assumptions. I was enthralled completely and left utterly devastated pining for more.. you won't be let down, GET THE BOOKS... GET THE EXPERIENCE Romantasy is supposed to deliver. If you're looking for depth, looking to embark on something emotionally invigorating, GET THE SERIES. I can promise you... you will be FEEL the stories.
Book 3… wow. Just, breathtaking, heartbreaking, learning, loving, and crying 😭 with all the emotions!
This book had me all in my feels. Watching Areya and all the rest step into their true selves, unlocking the prophecy and learning to fight against it together was incredible. But my favorite part? Hands down? It was seeing Ash love Areya out loud and steady. Their love isn’t all consuming like some books, it’s steady and powerful and constant. He’s there when she falls, she’s there when he needs her quiet strength. It’s absolutely beautiful.
I can’t get over how much I don’t want to leave this world. Cosette Verga created a masterpiece. ❤️
I’m not going to sugarcoat this, Restored was probably the hardest of the series to get through, but ABSOLUTELY WORTH the emotional damage that came with the brilliantly executed cliffhanger Cosette Verga pulled off in the third book that had me immediately starting book four. I’ve never been more happy I stumbled upon this series after it was finished because if I’d had to wait for book four? I’m talking Onyx Storm levels of emotional damage. This book broke me in the best way and I absolutely flew through it. Pacing was (as always with this author) on point, the character arcs were everything I could’ve hoped for, and the emotional damage was worth everything!!
I received this ebook from the author in exchange for an honest review.
At first I was liking this book the best of the set. Putting aside that I still feel like the characters have these sudden teenage moments, the story was the most interesting to me so far. There were multiple places the author could have chosen to end the story. It felt like the story stretched on a bit too far then ended in a strange place which left me feeling unfulfilled in the end.
I have the complete set to work my way to the current ARC so I’ll continue on. If I had to wait for the next book, I might feel differently.
Restored is an engaging and emotionally rich dark fantasy that continues Cosette Verga’s knack for blending magic, suspense, and romance. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and their struggles and growth feel genuine, drawing you deeply into their journey. The world-building is vivid and immersive, creating a setting that feels alive and full of intrigue.
The pacing is generally strong, though a few sections could have been slightly tighter, but this is a minor issue in an otherwise captivating story.
Overall, Restored is a satisfying and atmospheric read for fans of dark fantasy and paranormal romance, leaving you eager for more from Verga’s universe.
This one really had me on a freaking chokehold! The anticipation of what’s to come. The twists and turns and revelations unfolding. Aster’s revelation was the most shocking! And Agidious’s reaction when he meets Realyn!! Oh my heart just broke at his reaction. Then they went off to find another way to beat the Gods without fulfilling the prophecy. And everyone was being awfully suspicious…
And then… the unexpected happened.. and my heart shattered! I did not see that coming. Found it very hard to make this review without spoiling anything!!!

What a whirlwind of emotions this book, no series! has me in! I’m completely captivated riding this ride out! I don’t want this ride to end! Seeing Areya step into herself embracing and unlocking the prophecy and fight together! So powerful… and to find another way .. my face was like this 😱 And ash love her out loud, to see their continued support for one another when they need it! Such a powerful couple. And asters surprise 😮 And the shocking moment that shattered my heart I just can’t…I’m diving into the next book!
I devoured this book in 2 days and hung on every page! RESTORED exploded with the storyline getting bigger and better. While Areya and Ash remain the 2 central characters, other characters, like Cody, evolve. Cody became one of my favorite characters in RESTORED. I love Cody and all he becomes. The FATED series is one of the best fantasy romance series I’ve read in a very long time!!
The third book in the fates series keeps us uncovering information from the past in order to forge a sustainable future. The story telling style, the found family genre and the magic and fantasy realm all make it a wonderful read. enjoy
Well this book gave us some unexpected turns. I laughed, I cried, and I felt the emotions. This is a fun unique world and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know these characters. I’m heading straight to the next one!
It has all the things. Happiness, sadness and mystery. The story continues and what a story it is. The series still has its claws in me and I can wait to see where it goes. It is so well written and captivating.
The depth of this series is amazing, and I can't emphasize how much I love the world building, character development, and detail that goes into these books. Giving history and depth, planning for future events and ideas, the characters go through it all in this book and it sets you up to keep wanting more too! I can't wait to read the next one!
I think this book is my favorite in the series so far. Getting so much of Ash’s pov truly adds depth to the story from me. Being able to get into his head and see events through his eyes makes the story so much better in my opinion.
I am enjoying this book series so much. I fall more in love with these characters the more I read. The magic system is really interesting and the interaction with the bonds between mates is great. I can't wait to find out what happens. The ending is so sad
I can absolutely say this book will have you falling in love with every single character - But also break you at the same time it’s gut clenching. But so so good. I cried an unbelievable amount of times reading this book. Definitely give it a try!
I DEVOURED this book! This book was everything and oh so heart breaking. The journey throughout this book was nonstop action and found family in every page! The ending!??!!! OMG! Ash’s POV chapters are my absolute favorite! On to the next book!!
Loved this continuation of the Fated series! Ash and Areya's journeys still keep me on the edge of my seat. I am starting the 4th book now and I am so excited for Unveiled to release.
