As pirates plunder and diplomats disappear, Broccoli Bunch and her friends come to the rescue, in the sixth installment of this cozy fantasy adventure.

The Sylph kingdom of Goldenalden is rife with conflict and intrigue, and Broccoli’s newest friend, Princess Caprica Sylph, is right in the middle of the chaos. She’s in desperate need of some friends who can help her navigate what’s looking to be a heap of trouble.

Most pressingly, there’s the disappearance of a harpy delegation from the Harpy Mountains. After the entire small fleet, including several diplomats, fails to show up to one of the most important summits in recent history, it becomes overwhelmingly clear that something nefarious is afoot.

With Broccoli’s long-time nemesis Rainnewt stewing behind bars, who could be responsible for this kerfuffle? Princess Caprica assigns Broccoli and the rest of the crew of the Beaver Cleaver airship to find out who’s behind the devious plot and save the diplomats. But the most challenging part of the mission? Staying out of trouble.

Failure isn’t an option, especially when a deadly war is looming. One thing’s for the pressure’s building, and Broccoli’s crewmate Amaryllis might just pluck out her own headfeathers in exasperation. Broccoli knows that hope and a positive outlook can solve most issues, but will her friendliness be enough to save lives and prevent any unnecessary violence?

The sixth volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than nine million views on Royal Road—now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!

I love this series and I’ll continue to read it until it’s finished, buuuuuuuutttt… this one was kind of boring. I did like the new companion and felt they were very different from the others, but they were a bit flat and I would have liked more lore.

A fun new volume of Cinnamon Bun!
These books are cozy and easy to read- this has really become a comfort series for me. The group's dynamic is so fun. The action bits aren't overwhelming and the world building is great. I really loved the introduction of Calamity (he makes me giggle) The scene at the beard shop was so much fun as was the shopping montage in general. I am very excited about the next book and seeing some characters I've been wondering about for a few books now!

I read these in audio and as always Reba Buhr's narration is fantastic, but I'd like to note that there was something going on in this particular recording. There was a scratchy/blown speaker sort of sound off and on particularly with Broccoli's speaking parts. That got annoying. It doesn't happen every time she talks, but quite frequently- this hasn't been an issue in any of the previous books, so hopefully it's just a one off.

Highly enjoyable continuation of the series! It's cute, adorable, and it's nice to see the characters grow, even as they continue to find themselves involved with one mess after another. Broccoli has this way of bringing people together.

As a side note, I've been reading the series on SH, and buying the books as they're released.

A very mid book. Does it move the plot? Yes. Does it do it in a meaningful way? No.

This series is very cozy fantasy in its purpose, but this book felt more filler than any of the others. The crew didn’t need a new member, especially at the cost of Sebastian being left behind for paperwork and paladin business.

As always this is cute, sweet, fast read. Unfortunately though, literally nothing happens until more than halfway through the book. This is the first boring entry in the series.
