A very beautiful and poetic way to understand the Cypriot situation. Full of metaphor and delicacy, the author takes us through the adventures of this palace over the past century. A very lovely novel. I could have given it more stars if it weren't for the author's habit of systematically repeating herself. It's a stylistic choice, but I felt it slightly disrupted the overall flow of the book.
