I love this series, I really do but I'm starting to get worried. When will it end? The last three volumes haven't been that good, you can tell the author is clearly dragging it for the sake of trying to squeeze out some more money and it's getting boring and tiresome. I really hope it will end soon.
I still think this story is cute but I had some issues with this volume. frankly all the volumes are short but I don't think I realized that until I had to wait about a month for this. I read this in like 30 minutes and even for a manga it's short. nothing really happened with the main couple in this it was more about side characters and while I like the friend and his bf it looks like they may be adding another side couple and I'm not really feeling that. with the main couple being married I thought them needing to sneak around would stop but it hasn't and honestly it's made me feel bad for them. I like the idea of them having a business together so they don't have to worry about being outed and fired. it seems like a lot of the ppl they work with anyway keep causing issues anyway
Compared to Adachi and Kurosawa, I find myself a bit...disinterested in Tsuge and Minato? They're cute, but at the same time, a lot of their plot is just: 1. Misunderstanding/miscommunication happens. 2. Argument ensues. 3. Minato runs away and ignores Tsuge. 4. Tsuge runs to Adachi and Kurosawa for advice. 5. Misunderstanding is cleared up, and they're back to being lovey-dovey again. It gets a bit...monotonous after a while, but I'm hoping that we'll get to see some change in their dynamic.
Giving it a 3.5 because the drama with the main couple got me on the edge of my seat, the next volume can't come out fast enough.
This volume was really sweet. The boys are worried about their company’s CEO finding out about them, but as usual, Kurosawa has a plan. We also get Minato determined to help Tsuge lose the ability to read his mind (which must be very annoying!). The pacing is good and this ends up being a quick read.
Adachi asks Kurosawa to teach him more about the ways of love so that he isn’t so naive after what happened with Tachibana, but Kurosawa says he's fine the way he is, so he will go with him to the next meeting to put him in his place.
The meeting goes smoothly, with Tachibana promising to stay out of their personal life, except Kurosawa gets rattled when he sees a picture on Tachibana’s phone with Matsuura, the president of the company who he offended the night he first met Adachi. This prompts some worry on their part about possibly losing their jobs, so they discuss what they could do if that happened, trying to assuage their fears.
Tsuge and Minato are spotted together, and it goes viral. This worries Tsuge, not wanting it to affect Minato’s up-and-coming career. It causes a bit of a disagreement, as Minato doesn’t think it’s that big of a deal. He even tells Minato they should turn down an interview they’ve been invited to do together.
We also see that the bartender of one of Tachibana’s favorite bars is actually a kid he used to tutor, who's been in love with him, but Tachibana seems clueless even after he gives him hints.
Later Kurosawa finds out President Matsuura wants to speak with him. He’s warned not to make a blunder like last time. When he gets in her car, she opens with, “I'd like to talk about you and your 'friend.'”
Tsuge apologizes to Minato and explains he was being petty because what he was really worried about was other men besides him looking at him that way. During this conversation, Minato asks Tsuge if there is any way he can lose the power to read his mind since it’s not fair that he can when Minato can’t. Tsuge admits to knowing how and eventually whispers it to Minato, to which he responds, “Well, I guess we’d better then.”
So Minato is kind of pushy about wanting to, saying it’s fine since they’re dating, but then he actually starts to get nervous and totally flustered when they begin. It ends with them getting closer as they are in bed together, and Tsuge realizes he’s going to miss hearing Minato’s voice in his head.

Tsuge is as awkward as ever in his relationship with Minato, though he really does mean well. It's hilarious that he goes to Adachi and Kurosawa for advice, though given Adachi is the only other person he's known with these same abilities and most likely the only same sex couple he knows, it makes sense why he turns to them for advise, especially given how much they seem to have accomplished together. This does seem to spark some small worry given not everyone at the company is aware of their situation and certain higher ups are pushing them to "move on and make an honest woman" out of their ring partners - if only they knew. This woman manager seems like she could be problematic as well, though we haven't seen any insight into their discussion yet other than her using Adachi as a lure to force Kurosawa to listen to her. With Tsuge potentially losing his power soon as well it will be interesting to see how things change for these couples and if the focus will remain on them only or if a new character will be introduced with this ability given the series title. While I can't find anything on a next volume release yet, it is hard to see this as the end of the series given the number of open ends and questions yet unresolved.

Another cute volume. I liked that it was split between the couples. I dislike the president storyline and how that is going to be more of a thing in the next volume. It's just sad that there is so much homophobia in the world.
While I do love this series, it is starting to feel like its dragging on. That being said, I saw in it there was a musical? I'd love if that came here. So fun.
Adachi and Kurosawa always talk things through and they help Tsuge. They'll always have each other's backs. Tachibana is a dork. A man is in love with him and he's right in front of him. I loved Minato's face when Tsuge told him how he could lose the power. What does that lady want with Kurosawa? I know she's gonna blackmail him. A few people in the office know about Kurosawa and Adachi. I need vol. 16 now.
I love Cherry Magic. I love Adachi and Kurosawas relationship. They have such good and honest communication. I also love Tsuge and Minato. They are definitely a case of opposites attracting but they also had good and honest communication. I’m not going to say anything about Tachibana and the bartender because that has a trope that i absolutely despise in BL, if not for that scene this would’ve been a perfect read for me. I’m so sad this series is ending soon.
One of the things that’s always impressed me about the series is its ability to juggle the light and silly with the grounded and serious. This volume promises a lot of permanent change (and I guess setup for the ending) and while I don’t know how I feel about all of it, I do respect a series letting some stuff just be complicated. They might not stay at the company, they might face greater problems than a lighthearted comedy might care to show, but they’ll face them together.
I love this series but this volume was a bit of an odd one. Nothing much happens even though there is plot going on. I don't mind the Tsuge sideplot at all so it wasn't that. More so, the drawing in some of the panels was slightly off, and I don't know if the author was rushed or what, but a bit of a letdown.
Sad to say I agree with some of the others that this volume was a bit meh. It feels like it’s getting dragged out needlessly. Really just want Tsuge and Minato to do it already 🤣
I adore this series but I do feel like it should have ended a few volumes ago and I was glad to see the authors note saying it was going to wrap up soon, I think it needs to.
I love this series but this one seemed like it was filler. I want to know what is happening at the company but I just hope that they come out without too much drama. Also the B story line is becoming my favorite part.
Adachi and Kurosawa actually talk things through and always show up for Tsuge and each other. Tachibana is a total dork, completely missing that the man in love with him is right there. And Minato’s face when Tsuge explained how he could lose the power was priceless.
