✨📚 The Witch’s Catalogue of Wanderlust Essentials was such a whimsical, magical little adventure! I listened to the audiobook, and let me tell you, it was chef’s kiss. 🤌🏻🎧

I will forever be a sucker for interconnected standalones, and this one was such a fun ride! We follow Goldie, Will, and Zani through their own tangled little threads of time travel, and I loved seeing how their stories intertwined. There’s just something so satisfying about watching all the pieces come together!

And THAT ENDING?! 👀 I’m practically vibrating with excitement for the next book! I’m really hoping we pick up right where things left off, or that this little plot twist becomes the main focus of a future installment. Because excuse me?! I NEED MORE. 🕰️✨

Time, mistakes and choices

I loved this second installment in this cozy fantasy series. It had a great blend of magic, mystery, secrets, plot twists, mild suspense, time travel, family, community and light romance all woven together with good world building. Zani is a witch who spends her time relic-hunting magical artifacts and avoiding her family. Will is a half-fae Porter who transports magical beings from place to place. Ondalune is an aging film star who has lived well beyond a normal lifespan. Their paths begin to collide and converge when Zani mysteriously loses a rare bloodstone that she just located and Will ports her from the airport to the Mudpuddle Bookshop. In an unexpected turn of events, rather than just a simple place to place port for Will and Zoni, it’s also a time slip. The initial time slip is simply the first step in this time traveling tale centered around the bloodstone. The story is told with the use of multiple POVs and flashbacks which was a fantastic method of telling this story. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. 4.5 stars.

There is so much to love in this whimsical fantasy world and possibly my favorite thing is the descriptions of the magical items sprinkled throughout. I'm off to CO in a few days and what I wouldn't give for a Sensible Satchel (IYKYK). The charming characters, the hint of mystery, a touch of romance, time travel, and always magic create a beautiful escape into a marvelous adventurous experience. I was completely immersed into the story and the Mudpuddle world and I cannot wait to return for book three.

This might not be my favourite book in this series, mainly because the author tested my patience in the beginning. Until I understood how Goldie and Cosimo's stories weaved together with Will and Zani's, I admit feeling a little irritated whenever their POVs interrupted the other storyline. But it all came together in the end and I felt rewarded for my patience :) I loved reading about the items in the sensible satchel though. I can't wait to get back to Primrose court in the next installment of the series.

This has time travel, witchy magic and the coolest magical gadgets. This was once again the perfect blend of whimsy and cozy and immersive and just ugh. I loved it so much. This one is giving practical magic vibes, which was equally amazing.

I CANNOT wait for the audiobook to drop for book three. This has so quickly become one of my favorite cozy fantasy series

This was a really fun and surprising book. I went into it expecting cute and cozy, like Mudpuddle. What I got was a time travel story full of twists and turns. I absolutely loved how the author took multiple POVs and slowly wove them together as the story progressed. Of course, I was super excited that Will is a main character in this one since he was my favorite in Mudpuddle. The ending was amazing, I definitely wasn't expecting it, and now I need to read the next book immediately.

Cozy, magical timeslip adventure.

Another fantastic instalment of Mudpuddle. The small town ,close-knit community vibe of this cosy supernatural read leaves me craving the next book.

Adventure, time travel ,vampires, mermaids, witches, the court of Catherine De Medici, doughnuts, cheese, and coffee equals an addictive series.

(Audiobook) 4.5 ⭐️Absolutely incredible production. I was grabbed and held hostage until the very end. Would’ve been full five, but it did not feel like there was any character development until 3/4 of the way through the book, which made it feel a bit rushed.
