3.75stars-HEAT is the first instalment in Roux Cantrell’s contemporary adult ROYAL HARLOTS MC: Quebec Canada MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored ROYAL HARLOTS MC, set in the multi-authored RBMC worlds. This is RBMC: Montreal member Elliott ‘Sayer’ Lavoie, and Royal Harlot MC president Diamond’s story line.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Diamond and Sayer) HEAT focuses on the growing and mutually beneficial relationship between the RBMC: Montreal and the Royals Harlots MC: Quebec as the Harlots set into motion the rescue of an abused woman and her two daughters. Having experienced the abuse, and the aftermath first hand, Diamond was determined to save and protect as many women as possible, women in need of help when there was no help available. Meeting the RBMC at a fund raiser, Diamond finds herself attracted to, and falling for a man who is willing to give up his time and energy to help Diamond save those unable to save themselves but as Diamond and Sayer head out on a journey with their precious cargo, all does not go according to plan, as each step of the way is monitored by an unknown source.
The world building focuses on the Royal Harlots ‘underground’ system of rescuing women and children in dangerous situations. The Royal Harlots offer flights to freedom and a new start in life for women caught in a cycle of abuse and terror, and with the help of the RBMC, they are giving the women a second chance.
The relationship between Diamond and Sayer is one of immediate attraction but neither one expected anything more. Offering his help on Diamond’s cross country journey, Sayer finds himself falling for a woman who is more than capable of going alone. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.
We are introduced to several members of the Royal Harlots MC, as well as the RBMC: Quebec including president Teller: Royal Harlots IT specialist Fifi, Nova, Domino and new prospect Seven. There may be something developing for Domino and Teller.
HEAT is a story of survival, power and control, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is captivating, dramatic and edgy; the romance is seductive but limited; the characters are determined and desperate.

Outstanding start to a new chapter of the Royal Harlots MC. Ms. Cantrell has given us a well written storyline with strong, alpha females who give a whole lot worse than they get. Yet, they also seem to have a softer side for their MC sisters and their personal misters. This story is about Diamond, Prez of the Quebec OF the RHMC. She receives a letter from the national prez, telling her she needs to reach out and place nice with their brother chapter the RBMC. This is something these proud women do not wish to do but as their Prez she knows she can’t go against the National Prez. So she reaches out to Teller, Prez of the local RBMC, and invites him and his brothers to their Casino Night Fund Raiser. Things are going well until a man starts hassling Diamond. While she can handle herself and wants no outside interference, Teller sends one of his men, Sayer, to watch over the situation. And of course, Sayer can’t help himself and steps in. From here Diamond and Sayer start this kind of love/hate friendship. Due to her past, she was a part of WITSEC before fled and joined the Royal Harlots years ago, she won’t let anyone in for fear of her past catching up to her. But that in turn has caused her a lonely life other than her club sisters. Could Sayer be the answer to her secret dreams? Could Sayer end up being just the man to share her secrets and trust with? Both her personal ones and those about her club’s missions?
This is an exciting read with lots of action, emotions and of course romance. I can’t recommend it enough.
As for this reader, I can’t wait to see what happens next with the Quebec Royal Harlots MC.

Congratulations Roux Cantrell!!!! Great Story
I couldn’t put this story down, Loved Diamond. After loosing the life she had known she decided to dedicate her new life as an outlaw to help abused women & children escape from the system that has failed then all and help them start a new life. It’s dangerous with risks but as the President of the The Royal Harlot’s Quebec City she and her sisters wouldn’t have it any other way.
Things get complicated when she receives a letter from Royal Bastards MC of Montreal. She decides to play nice with Teller the president & invite him an his boys to their casino night fundraiser. Diamond didn’t see Sayer coming & to be honest he didn’t see her either; but they feel the connection & everyone around them sees it too. This could potentially be a problem. This story is filled with tension, danger & its peddle to the metal till the end. Don’t miss the smart a$$ snarky comments that breaks the tension & makes snicker.

This is the first in a new series, and this is Diamond and Sayer’s story.
Diamond is the president of the Quebec chapter of the RHMS, and when the law failed her when she was abused, she took matters into her own hands. Sayer is a member of the Royal Bastards. Both characters are haunted by their past demons. These two cross paths at a charity event, when Diamond is approached by a woman who is being abused, and Sayer steps in to help her.
This is a well written action-packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, survival, loyalty, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, tension, trust, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and captivating page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Wow, OMG what a book. This book will grab you from the moment that you start reading. It keeps you very interested and turning pages. There is no putting it down until the last page is read. This book moves along at a speed that is perfect for the flow of the story, speeding up and slowing down as needed. These characters are fantastic and no matter what happens you want to see them overcome whatever it is that gets in their way. You cannot help but love them. This book is a must read. It will not disappoint you. I cannot wait to see what else happens to these women in upcoming books.

Heat is book 1 in the Royal Harlots MC, Quebec City-Canada written by the talented author Roux Cantrell. Diamond & Sayer! This book is a must read. It will not disappoint you.
I read this in less than 24hrs because I just couldn’t put it down. From the first chapter this novel sucked me in and held on tight. Diamond and Sayer, they were fire together! This is a book with a mission. Beyond pure entertainment, it is a story of strength despite fear, emotional, unpredictable, irresistible, and so much more. I was sad when it ended because it was so good. Can't wait for more!!

Wow I am amazed by this book. This author really nailed it with the storyline and all the details. From beginning to end I was hooked. Loved reading this. I highly recommend reading it is that good and I'm definitely going to be rereading this again because I just can't get enough of it. Plus the characters in this book are amazing.

Love a strong woman!
I love that Diamond is the president of this club! And they work to rescue abused women and children! But the Royal Bastards get involved and Sayer and Diamond can’t fight the chemistry! Tough women, swoony men, action, and suspense! Love love love!

Damn that was good but intense in a few spots cause of the sensitive nature of their trip. I was impressed on how she managed 2 get with him and he wanted 2 help her in every way possible. I loved it!! It had action and kicked ass when needed lol
