Triple Play: The Battle of Cell Tower Hill

It had been a great business trip to Sin City for the gang from Athenaeum, Incorporated, the off-the-books, black ops private intelligence company. The Presidential Suite, great food, and only one real gunfight. You’d think it would count as a success. Instead, the billboards were a lie. This time…

WHAT HAPPENED IN VEGAS DIDN’T STAY IN VEGAS!

Stalked back across the country to their Tennessee home by enemies old and new, now it’s going to be a really close race to see if America’s most niche military intelligence contractors can keep their rapidly growing problems at bay. And when the real violence starts, the old ways have to mix with the new, because the future sneaks up when it’s least expected.

Write what you know – Mark Twain
Dan Kemp’s third installment in the Atheneum Inc series does not disappoint. It is one of the very few book series I will continue to read outside of my normal genre. It picks up directly where the second installment, Doubling Down, ends with just enough of a recap to make it a good stand-alone book. The author brings his knowledge of weaponry, military history, and humor to each page, along with a touch of dark humor, sarcasm, and realistically described situations.

Excitement comingled with humor

Fast paced action laced with humor. Author took the time to be sure weapon descriptions and operations were accurate. I enjoyed reading the books and wished there was at least one more as I hated to turn the last page. You can read the books in any order but if you read them in order little details make more sense. Stories brought back fond memories. Thank you Dan Kemp.

Awesome series, favorite book of the series

Love action? Like gun porn? This is the book for you. The action scenes are exciting and easy to follow which isn't always true in this genre. Features very creative usage of technology for getting rid of bad guys.

Excellent Third Book

I loved the continuing character development and the returning cast of characters developing into a very active world that is obviously well thought out and designed.
