Since we published Illusive, our first collection of contemporary illustration from around the world, the demand for work in this medium has continued to grow – and with it its range of application and forms of expression. This positive development is confirmed by the exciting work of international illustrators that we have seen since its publication, and it was thus a logical step to present the best of these new works in Illusive 2. The book features an impressive variety of illustration styles and new design approaches that have become more differentiated and complex in comparison to the spontaneous-looking scribbles of years past.

The first book I bought of the Illusive contemporary art series is actually volume 3. I was smitten by the quality of the art and the book itself and had to get the earlier books.
This is an inspiring book with a broad range of illustrations, all brilliantly reproduced on high grade art paper. There are hundreds of artists with their own unique style, creating art work mainly with traditional medium. This book is a visual treat with its beautiful illustrations.
The only text are some interviews, and at the back is the index with the artists' websites.
It's a great resource for illustrators and graphic designers. Well worth the money.
stunning imagery, really inspiring and great to flick through to get the creative juices flowing. I got this from the college library and I really want to buy a copy. The art and chosen artists are just amazing. Definately worth adding to your collection.
