Graveyard Shift
It’s Halloween in Whisper Cove. To Harper Harlow-Monroe that means candy, parties, and costumes to celebrate her favorite holiday of the year. That’s what she’s expecting anyway. What she gets is the exact opposite.
When her husband Detective Jared Monroe calls to tell her there’s a ghost on County Line Bridge throwing items at passing cars and causing accidents, Harper is hoping for a quick takedown but that’s not what she gets.
The ghost isn’t just hanging out on the bridge because she’s bored. No, Whisper Cove’s former librarian is protecting a body.
Nobody knows how the teenager got there. Even his parents are confused. All anybody knows is that the librarian died in her sleep in the past…and yet she’s protecting the boy’s body in the present.
As Harper digs deep she starts uncovering some troubling stories about the boy’s friends and what might have happened to the librarian. How does it all fit together, though?
Harper won’t give up until she knows the truth. What if the truth is more than anybody can bear?

Not up to Hart's usual standards.
There was so much weak in this book! The South side of town was the poor side? Aren't they on the north shore of Lake St.Clair? The south side of Whisper Cove should be waterfront property.
Police procedure was ignored by the police as much as Harper. She should never have gone to the school before the police, Jared and Kelly should have checked out Dinners room, especially when he'd been confirmed murdered. Harper grabbing the carton of broth would eliminate that as evidence even if there were other poisoned items in the house; as a cop's wife for years, she'd know that.
Why could two wet, freezing, battered women get up the bank so easily when Jared required a harness and help?
There was no explanation for why the Ghost Hunting business wasn't doing Halloween events in the cemetery, a big income stream for them.
Rowan didn't have a camera with her for a freaking costume parade? Are you kidding me?
The bits with the children were charming, but that doesn't excuse the clear lack of effort in the mystery part.
Also I have no idea what someone "swishing their lips" means, is that a Michigan expression?

It's Always fun to visit Whisper Cove and catch up with Harper and Jared and of course there is Harper's best friend Zander (always a delight) I really enjoy the mystery wrapped up with a supernatural element that Harper and friends investigate. It's especially fun now all three couples have children Zander and Shaun have their twins, Rowan and Quinn (from the Roman Grey series) have a young girl and a toddler boy, then there's Harper and Jared daughter Poe who is obsessed with death, even more so than her mother. So lots of humor, a decent mystery to solve with magic.included and snippets of family life. In this one we get the battle of who's wearing what for halloween. My only complaint these are still Harper books Rowan and Quinn are relegated to.side.characters. Now with the other two couples I. This quartet they don't live in the same.town so they do have some.distance. Harper and Rowan don't have that so her and Quinn's roles.in these stories feel a.bit diminished.............

There is a Ghost On Bridge
That headline sounds like a beginning to a story, well that’s because it is the beginning of this story but there is so much more to find out about as we get together with Harper and the gang to solve another mystery. The gang is all here and through it all the story of good overshadowing evil will always make for great reading. So don’t just stand there my friends pickup this fast paced book and enjoy the mystery within, you never knew ghosts could communicate so well;)

Never Disappointed
As always, this story was entertaining and also thought provoking. I like that the author lets me have a happy ending. I was burned once with another author, who not only left the ending up in the air, but promised a conclusion in another book that she never delivered on. Never again. If I have to check the ending before I really get involved. There is enough sorrow I. The world without having to watch it or read about it. Thank you for all the hours of entertainment. There is always something to look forward to.

Greed
Greed was a big part of this story. Why are people so greedy? I love a simple life, I'm comfortable in my home, have food on the table and most of all I have my husband and kids, what more do I need? I have it all! I love the Halloween holiday, it is my favorite time of year. I'm like Poe and start watching horror films sin labor day. Well actually I watch them year round, especially the classic horror. I can't wait to see who we get next in Return to Magic series. Well, on to the next adventure!💙💚😉👻💀🎃🎈

Fun Read
This was a fun book to read. Perfect amount of snark and sarcasm.. Kai was so cute and funny in this novel. main characters were women so yeah girl power!!
The scenes are so descriptive you feel are a part of the conversations and action..A book you will enjoy read all of Lily Harper Hart series so you understand why things happen as they do.

A really fascinating read!
This was an interesting and spooky storyline! Great for Halloween. I kinda had the culprits pegged right from the beginning, it was interesting reading the way Harper got it all figured out. Of course, Zander always grabs my attention whenever he's a character in the storyline. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Love these cozy mysteries w kids
I liked this one more than most. It's curious seeing the women working together. Now I want to see the inside of Jezebels house and I want to know what Kelly's up to.

Good read
Book 10 has a lot of the usual crew and friends, whether in person or on video calls. There is also 2 murders, loads of mystery, ghosts, magic, laughter, and danger. Highly entertaining.

Lily Harper Hart never disappoints. She kept me on my toes guessing who the true culprit was which I tend to think I have it figured out within the first few chapters. Love Poe's Halloween costume; I just might have to get my granddaughter to dress that way one year when she is older.

Fun story
This is one of my favorites in this new series. The pacing is really good and the story has a lot of imaginative twists. Once you hit the last third you won’t want to stop so plan the time to finish. Looking forward to the next one.

sooo good
Rowan, family, and friends. That’s always my favorite part. But, there are also some dastardly people, both adults and minors, a more than cranky ghost with a sad past, and of course, an enticing mystery for us, the lucky readers.

Great read
One of her best ones yet. I won't give any hints, I don't want to ruin it for you. Its best if you read all her books in order just so you know who all the wonderful people are. Again, its a great book and I even cried.

A really good story!
I love these books! Harper and Zander, are my two favorite people. Zany, snarky, totally hilarious. I love how they have found their loves, and how their families have grown.

I love this series!
She always writes a great story with twists and turns that you don’t always see coming. I like the fact that the characters from each series interact between stories too.

I really liked this story and I loved the ending. Coming back to the cemetery is always fun in my book. And I adore Poe, she’s one of my favourite characters in the series. 5 stars and I’m looking forward to the release of the next book.

A very good read. It's always a plus when the whole gang, or most of them, is involved in the story. I'm also very interested in what's going on with Kelly. She's definitely up to something.
