Secrets get exposed and a life-changing bomb drops on Summer and Draco, shaking up everything they thought was solid. Love turns dangerous, loyalty gets tested, and enemies pop up from every direction—some wearing familiar faces. Lani’s battling her demons while trying to hold on to love, and the whole crew is forced to face the not everybody can be trusted. The finale of Captured By A Bama Plug 2brings heat, heartbreak, and hella twists. Will love survive the chaos? Or will the streets swallow them whole?
I liked this book more than the preceding book. Everything flowed a lot better to me. But tbh, this book and the other one could’ve just been one book. “Captured By A Bama Plug 2” ties up the loose ends from the first book and includes Kay Kay’s retaliation for the fight as well as the consequences of her retaliation. Some sh*t also happens to Draco, which felt out of the blue.
I didn’t even bother counting how many people got a POV chapter this time around, but Vega gets one. If you’re wondering who Vega is, exactly. Why does this random person have a chapter? Literally everything revealed in Vega’s POV could’ve been mentioned in someone else’s.
Anyway, the highlights, for me, were Summer whooping Kay Kay’s ass and the brothers finally getting along. We also meet Summer and Lani’s mama which kinda felt weird because where was she in the first book but she was interesting lol.
Both couples end up getting their sh*t together after some traumatic sh*t happens for each couple. Tbh, I cared more about Lani and Dane’s relationship than Summer and Draco’s. Lani and Dane’s relationship just felt like it had more depth.
I liked book 2, book 1 was better. In book 2 most of the book was about Summer being in a Coma, there was no talk about if Lani and Dane figured their relationship out. This book had potential for more drama with Lani and the guy from the club…still a good short read. Also did Dane ever kill their grandad? Also what happened with Ortega, who was on the phone? How did Bella figure her relationship out? A couple of loose ends I wish I knew about

I am writing this book 3.5 because wow I love the drama and the intimate scenes were definitely top-tier. There’s something about this writer. She’s so good with describing the passion between the characters not just when they are you know in the bedroom but also they are love for each other, and they love the love the men have for their women And how they go all the way to protect them. It was something that I found really good. I also love how those who had issues with each other that were able to settle and all of that but my goodness when I say these relationships are toxic they definitely are and considering how some of these things are taking us cute and oh you know a toxic man is seen has been really passionate. I think it’s important to reflect on how dangerous These things can be and how they can have real life consequences because we know there’s a recent example of a particular YouTuber, who was murdered by their partner and doing this kind of toxic relationship, where the man was very possessive and all of that so I think it’s very important to differentiate between fiction and real life and also try as much as possible not to normalize toxicity
Captured by a Bama Plug Part 2 delivered the perfect ending to this story. Everything that needed to happen finally did—and it was so satisfying. Lani and Dane stopped dancing around their feelings and gave us the moment we’d been waiting for. Draco and Summer secured their well-earned happily ever after, and watching their journey come full circle was chef’s kiss.
The family drama finally found healing, but don’t get it twisted—this book still came with bodies dropped, shootouts, and high-stakes street tension that kept the adrenaline high. Add in the sexy, steamy scenes and the emotional payoff, and this installment truly had it all. And Kay-Kay? She got exactly what she deserved.
Andi A. Brooks wrapped this series up beautifully, tying loose ends while keeping the storytelling bold and entertaining. This was the kind of ending that makes you close the book smiling, satisfied, and already looking for what to read next from this author
From the time I read the first one and it ended with a cliff hanger I needed the second one bad. All my questions were answered in this one. Kay Kay got what she deserved and more. I loved seeing everything play out with Draco and Summer, my girl deserved some real love. I’m happy for Lani too Dane didn’t play about her even when he was mad they were meant for each other. I can’t wait for more books to come.
Yeah Kay Kay thought shit was sweet. She really underestimated Hawk. She should've just taken that ass beating and moved on. She couldn't have possibly been that slow to think that the truth wouldn't come out. How you crashing out over a ninja that ain't yours. Jealousy is a dangerous feeling to have.
What a finale! I loved how, in the end, the opposition got what they deserved, and Draco and Hawk embraced their brotherhood. Additionally, Draco and Summer expressed their love for each other. Lani and Dane needed to sort out their issues, but they did it in their own way. Overall, the book was an enjoyable read.
Absolutely loved. I always love when an author does a… Previously on… It gives a great recap, so therefore I’m not lost lol. The spice is always wonderful. 🌶️🌶️🌶️The storyline is great. I love the drama and the get back. I’m just sad that it ended.
Great ending to a superb series!!! From the first book through this one, I was fully engaged in this story. It held my attention and closed up ALL the loose ends. Y'all just read the damn book!!!!
This book was the perfect wrap up to part one!!! The bombshell that’s was dropped in part one! Hawk was wrong and he was the cause of a lot! Kay Kay was just a devilish person. Summer deserved the world and Draco was not coming off her!!!
I love this storyline. I do wish that there was a bit more details about Rocko and Bella. I would have loved to have heard more about them but overall I loved the book.
I was a little disappointed with this book. To me it was all over the place. I think Lani should have had her own book because I feel like her story wasn't complete. What happened to Antwan? Sierra? Ortega? Book #1 was good, this one not so much.
Love has a way of bringing out the good, bad, and ugly. That’s exactly what love did here, but it worked out for everyone. My only issue were the grammatical errors and way to many exclamation marks.
I really loved this book! The twists and turns were awesome, and I adored the characters. Draco and Summer are cute together. Lani and Dane are finally figuring things out. It was a great story, and it was nice to see everyone get what they deserved at the end.
This book was just as juicy and eventful as the last one! All of the action and twists … I was living for ! It kept me on my toes and I really enjoyed this little hood story! It’s so crazy how everything played out. Such a great read!
This was a fun series that all began with a ride from a uber driver… this was my first series from this author ass thanks to BRAE. Definitely digging deeper into the catalog after this one
I’m lowkey sad this is over 😭😭 I’m glad Kay Kay got what she deserved, her and her cousin ( heffas). I’m also happy that the men accepted being brothers and embraced each other. I can’t wait to read more from this author!!
After the cliffhanger from book 1, this wrapped everything up in a nice bow for me. Tying loose ends, family bonds, love, deception & revenge. Everything that makes for a great hood romance 🥰
This ending was everything I miss HIM already. That little thing at the end gives you the shivers. Andi A. Brooks let me go looking through it catalog.
I loved everything about this series it wasn't drawn out it was straight to the point slightly unhinged men with some delulu women and good fmc , read the book
This was a good wrap up to this story. Hawk was accepted finally by the last hold out, which was Draco. Everyone who was a problem for Dane, Draco and Hawk, were dealt with.
I was hooked! I couldn't put the book down because I was to eager to see what would happen next! Did NOT disappoint!! I Wanna Be Captured by a Bama Plug real bad🥴
Let me tell you something about Captured By A Bama Plug 2 by Andi A. Brooks—this sequel came in SWINGING.
Book one ended with everybody catching smoke. Summer finds out her man AND her bestie been playing her for a whole year. Lani ran over her childhood abuser with her car. And the plot twist: Hawk is both Summer’s trifling ex AND Draco and Dane’s long-lost brother?! Baybeee, I had to close my Kindle for a second.
Now here we are in book two, picking up right where that emotional bomb dropped—and it only gets hotter. There are snakes in the grass, and someone is out to end Draco and Dane’s lives. Lani's out here trying to cover up her hit-and-run. Summer? Pregnant AND in a coma. I’m not gon’ spoil how she ends up there but just know... karma came knocking.
This installment had EVERYTHING: found family, revenge, love tested by fire, and loyalty that don’t fold. Draco and Dane stay riding for their women. Summer and Lani are really the backbone of this story, balancing softness and strength in the midst of complete chaos. And the way they face their trauma head-on? Whew.
Let’s not forget the Hawthorne brothers cleaning house in the streets. When I say they took care of business? Handled. It. And the epilogue? A peaceful lil bow on top of a whole lotta pain, passion, and perseverance.
This book gave: ✨ Secret siblings & surprise twists ☠️ Justice served HOT 🛎️ Found family vibes & healing arcs 🥵 Pregnancy drama & past trauma 🔥 Spice that stayed consistent (and delicious)
And best believe I’m knocking on Ms. Andi’s door like—when are we getting Bella & Rocko's book?! Cause that tension?? Top tier. And Hawk? Sir, I wouldn't mind a redemption arc if it means more pages of messy growth.
5/5. Period. Don’t even think about skipping straight to this one. Grab the first book, then dive into this sequel. You’re in for a ride.
