Audiences were left in awe after the trial of Jeremiah the Silent Killer was revealed in Portrait of a Serial Killer 1. They heard Prosecutor Eric Lundy unfold the grisly stories of over 300 murders. Now in Portrait of a Serial Killer 2, you get to look into the mind of the cold-blooded killer! Come on this eerie, bloody, murderous ride as newly escaped Jeremiah seeks revenge! “To fully understand me is to look into the dark corners of the mind of Satan himself! I am the executioner... America’s worst nightmare and my fun has just begun!”- Jeremiah

"Portrait of a Serial Killer Jeremiah 2" by Niki Jilvontae
My Rationalization:
Well, all that is left to say is that I hope you have read this author's first novel of 'Portrait of a Serial Killer Jeremiah' to truly understand what is going on in this series of "Portrait of a Serial Killer Jeremiah 2." This is not a read for the faint of heart because this author will go into it all where it will cover some of the most horrible scenes, but if you read the first Jeremiah, you will understand she tells it like it is in this one too. Be ready for a little bit of it all as these are some 'cold-blooded killers' that will give the reader quite an 'eerie, bloody and murderous ride' that at times will have you holding your breath as you are turning the pages to see what was coming next. Whether it's Jeremiah, Lundy, or even poor Anastasia, this novel is some read. I don't want to share too much other than say you will have to pick this one up and read it for yourself, so see what all these killers will do to seek revenge. Then as you get to the end, there seems to be more as Jeremiah has his eyes on Lundy while he 'repeated the words State Property...everybody's day was sure to come.' I guess we will find out that meaning in the next story, 'State Property' which is coming soon.
Ok, I've spelled this out before, and will do it as many times as necessary in the hopes this finally gets corrected. Womb- the organ in the lower part of a woman where offspring are born is the proper and correct term to use when you are describing a woman's organ. Jeremiah did not pull Anastasia's unborn child out of her wound, which is an injury in which the skin is normally cut. Please respect your readers enough to correct this.
Anyhow, I love the idea of Double D and Jeremiah. They're right for each other amidst their wrongs and that would make for an excellent series! Anastasia did not deserve Rico. Her obsession with Jeremiah and Eric got him killed. If only she could have focused on his love and everything would have ended so differently. I hated that Rico died but I enjoyed the peek into Jeremiah's mind as it provided a rationale for the behavior. I'm no fan of Eric but feel he should be left alive. He's better as a prosecutor than a killer. Good story other than the grammatical errors.
I seriously hate what happened to Anastasia. All she wanted was revenge but she ended up turning into a monster as well. Going after Jeremiah cost her even more. I really was hoping for a better outcome for Anastasia. Lundy should have thought twice about hooking up with Jeremiah. Reading his crimes on paper and actually witnessing them. Had Lundy realizing that Jeremiah was more twisted, disturbing, and heartless than he originally thought. Jeremiah thirst for blood is sickening. This fool didn't care about anything until he met Double D. Lundy better watch his back because I don't see it ending well for him.
Seems like the person who wrote this part 2 clearly did not read or comprehend the first book of Jeremiah. So many inconsistencies with poorly written chapters. The wife was clearly white in first book when it was mentioned the kids had nothing about them that indicated they had black genes. Anastasia had no family left after her cousin was killed but suddenly in book 2 she had tons of family. So mad I took the time out to read this.
Both 1 and 2 had some very unbelievable parts. Like a 5 year old being able to overpower a 16 year old so easily. I did like part 1 much better
I truly enjoyed this series. It was definitely a dark rollercoaster ride. I wasn't surprised that Anastasia did what she did after all that she went through. I had a feeling Lundy was going to give in considering how attached he was to the case in part one. Jeremiah is evil, manipulative and scary for the most part. He is definitely someone that I would hate to come in contact with. Niki definitely delivered yet again.
I have been obsessed with Jeremiah from the start! What an amazingly creative and deep character! Seriously, he chills me and that is a great feat! I can not praise Niki enough!! Her book reaches out, grand you and refused to let go! I can't wait until my next book beast experience!!!
I can't unsee Jeremiah dancing around with dead people skin on. Omg I would have been terrified!! Also Lundy needs to get his. He betrayed everyone he was supposed to protect because he was in his feelings about his ex-wife. Oh I can't wait. I hope there's another part
The twist and turns. The characters from Rasied into this state of mind. A twist I definitely wasn't expecting. You never disappoint and keep me on edge eagerly awaiting the book. Yes 🎉🎊🎉
Jeremiah is still just crazy as never and now with his partner lundy nowhere is safe! so good and the ending I wasn't expecting any of what happened to happen .
This book had me at the edge of my seat!!!Can't believe that crazy Jeremiah and Lundy. Niki always always leaves u in suspense and I can't wait for her next book. I love to read all Nikis books because they are bomb.
I am not a writer but I am a reader this book was a waste of time just like the first one it was not believable at all too many errors some things made no sense at all some things were left unfinished no disrespect to the writer but this was not good at all
Jeremiah has a very dark and evil soul. He should be in prison on death row but with the help of the state's district attorney he is running around free wrecking havoc. You need to read about Jeremiah for yourself so that you can see how evil he really is.
This was too good I devoured this book in one night you hear me! My heart was racing at some of these scenes and the descriptions omg I had to laugh at a few of them. Off to book 5!
This guy is still crazy, as expected, and his accomplice is equally as vial. The plot twists that came about were unexpected and I enjoyed it. Just not as much as I enjoyed the first one.
