When Burgandi ran from her husband into the arms of her side piece, she thought she had escaped the fire; until one phone call threw her into the pit.
Alacrán, a seductive kingpin and leader of Hijos del Alacrán, has craved Burgandi since the night Crypt handed her over like a gift. He promised it wouldn’t be the last time, and he never breaks a promise. When she steals from him and tries to frame her husband, her plan spirals into a nightmare. Snatched and imprisoned in his Castillo de Veneno, also known as the Castle of Venom, Burgandi is trapped among his wives and children; forced to bend to his every twisted whim. In the castle, survival means submission, but how long before pretending becomes reality and she forgets who she is?
Thorne’s world is crumbling after Crypt’s ambush left scars. Lovie is tightening her grip, his best friend is pressuring him into being more than friends, and when the streets start whispering his name, he’s tempted to become the man his grandmother didn’t want him to be. When he learns that the woman he loves has been taken, Thorne is ready to burn the city down to bring her home. However, this war will come with casualties; and this time he might lose more than he bargained for.
In this heart stopping finale, secrets will explode like landmines, and loyalties will lead to bloodshed. Real love requires sacrifice, and not everyone makes it out alive. While Some flowers bloom in sunlight, others rot in the dark, but either way, the soil never forgets the seed that was planted.

Book three proves that there is a motive for everything and seeing just how far people will go to get what they want and from who they want is scary. Thrones best friends pushing for more was left field as if he needed more problems. Then you have Lovie confessing to the bull she pulled. We have no idea what happened to the step in. You have Cyrpt and Thorne working together to get Burgandi back. We have no clue where baby girl was at. Burgandi and her son living in a nightmare dressed up in a lavish display of a house/lifestyle. Other best friends being left in the dark while the other is telling you back away but also supporting you while almost losing your life. Some people die while others live to heal and fight another day. Oh and almost being sold off yet again all while about to be moved to Mexico. This finale was good as hell. I was so glad the other wives were there to help where and when they could. With all of the secrets uncover and and new meaning to live I’m so glad Thorne and Burgandi were able to make it out alive. Who would have thought that both gardens would bloom with so many weeds that were ready to suffocate them only to come together and make the most of their arrangements making the most intact bouquet.
Crypt and Alacran were indeed two evil men. The way Crypt kept reminding Burgandi of everything he did for her showed it was never from the heart but for control, and for him to hit so deep to hurt a child showed just how.mental his family messed him up, the same for Alacran for someone that despised his father only to follow in his footsteps which was why karma came.back and took him the same.way it took his dad. Thorne was indeed a good man, and even though Burgandi at first just wanted some get back for Crypt actions she didn't realize she came into Thornes life right on time. Happy things worked out for him and Burgundy and she was able to gift him with a blessing.
I didn't think I could dislike Crypt any mire than I already did in the previous books, but he made me wanna put him in a wood chipper. Thorne proved to Burgundi that he really loved her and would never hurt her. That spider man was very weird, and he thought Burgundi could be controlled, but sis was from the hood and she had hood tendencies. Lovie was still trifling. I can't believe Tako didn't hurt Lovie for being annoying to het bestie.
I love this series. Every time I finished with a book, I would be anxiously awaiting the next one. I am Glad I found O’Sharra this year. I look forward to reading the rest of her catalog, especially if the others are as good as this series. I don’t like to tell about the book because I don’t want to give away anything. JUST READ THE ENTIRE SERIES. You will not regret it.
Crypt was something else! How he did A’heem was pure evil! He got what he deserved. It was sad to see Tako go out. Thorne was a real man! He’s bae. Stepped in and loved Burgundi and her babies. Finally got his own kid also. I’m so glad the sister helped Burgundi escape Alcaran.
Yes ma’am that’s how you end a good ssa series crypt was out of control but hurt people hurt others but he went too far and did he have a will so she could get his money for her pain and suffering two wrongs don’t make it right but he could’ve walked away
Twist and turns in this plot will have you wanting an AK 47 killing the manipulative women/men. The way Thorne saw past Burgandi’s faults and still chose her was definition of unconditional love.
This series was off the chain. Burgandi and Thorne sure went through a lot. I am so sorry that Tako lost her life because she sacrificed her life for Thorne. Crypt and Alcatran got what they deserved. Great Read!
Wow!! What a perfect ending to all this chaos and havoc!! Crypt really turned out to be a monster, especially saying he didnt care about Aheem in front of his face. That broke my heart! I loved when Thorne defended Burgandi after Crypt's harsh statement!! Love always prevails!!
This was another deja vu read for me. Not the entire story just towards the end. The being held prisoner part. All in all, good series. Love a happy ending.
