This was such a heart-warming read. Kinsley is trying so hard to keep the restaurant afloat after the passing of her dad. Working everyday just to pay the bills and support her mom. Cody is navigating life as a single dad in the wake of his wife’s death. Moving to a completely different state and pursuing a paramedic career. Life is nuts for both of them as they find their footing in the grief. Then, Kinsley’s lack of footing if you will, brings them together. They met by chance but they develop their relationship by fate. I cried, I laughed, and I cheered them on the whole entire time. If you are in need of a feel good read, this one is for you!

A Thousand Steps is such a heartwarming story about grief, healing, and second chances.

Kinsley is doing all that she can to keep her family's restaurant afloat after losing her dad. Cody is learning to navigate life as a single father after the loss of his wife. Their paths cross at just the right time, and with them slowly opening their hearts again was both emotional and uplifting.

I laughed, I teared up, and I truly rooted for them. If you're looking for an uplifting book about finding love after loss, then read this!
