Liz Archer delivers a sinfully intoxicating, can’t-put-it-down romance with Sexting the Boss. From the very first accidental text to the life-altering consequences that follow, this story had me hooked and fully immersed in Sasha and Damien’s electrifying world.
The premise is as irresistible as the execution: one drunk sext spirals into a steamy, life-changing relationship between Sasha and her silver fox Bratva boss, Damien Zaitsev. Their connection is immediate and explosive—from a wrong text to a dangerously thrilling, passionate affair that’s filled with whispered promises, commanding glances, and so much heat you’ll need a fan (or two!). Their chemistry is undeniable, crackling with every interaction, and when they collide, it's not just fireworks—it’s a full-blown inferno.
What truly stands out is how seamlessly Liz Archer blends intense sensuality with heart-melting emotion. Damien is a compelling mix of dangerous and protective, while Sasha’s boldness and vulnerability make her incredibly relatable. Their journey from flirtation to something much deeper is filled with surprising twists and emotional turns that kept me fully invested. And the danger that lurks around them adds just the right amount of suspense to the romance.
The pacing is flawless—once you start, you won’t want to stop (and sleep will become a distant memory). Archer masterfully keeps the tension high, whether it’s sexual, emotional, or the danger threatening to tear them apart. Plus, the promise of a scorching HEA is delivered in full, leaving you with a huge, satisfied smile.
In short: Sexting the Boss is a dangerously sexy, emotionally addictive, and breathtakingly romantic must-read! Liz Archer proves once again that she knows exactly how to craft a story that grabs your heart, ignites your fantasies, and doesn’t let go until the very last page.
This was a fast paced Bratva romance. It starts with a dare and Sasha finds herself sexting a stranger. This book was good and it had room for improvement. They eventually meet and the sex scene are steamy. Some action and suspense. I did like the ending.
I couldn't put this book down!!!! I was reading at home and at work during lunch. I loved the characters. Sasha and Damien's banter back and forth; reading the feelings blossoming between them. The side characters were brilliant. The storyline was just good all the way around. A few surprises I didn't see coming. And the sex scenes...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great story. A dare at a party has Sasha sexting an unknown number. Damien answers the text and soon their sexting is full of sass. Damien is more than a CEO and when he finds Sasha, he knows that he must have her. When they finally meet it is explosive and Sasha proves that she isn't intimitated by him. This book is full of danger, hot explosive chemistry, sass galore and a happy ending.

Sasha works for a big company and feels like it’s sucking the life out of her. She’s reluctantly invited to a party hosted by a witchy with a capital B, co-worker. During a game of truth or dare the co-worker dares her to sext an unknown person. The co-worker grabs her phone and sends out the first sext but after that a can of worms is opened.
Damien is the CEO of the company Sasha works in. He’s also part of the Bratva (Russian mafia). His life is dangerous but monotonous until he gets a sext that changes his life. Suddenly he’s bantering with a sexy mysterious woman and finding himself completely drawn to this unknown person. He hunts her down, and when he realizes that it’s Sasha sending the sexts and that she works for him, all bets are off! He pursues her relentlessly and Sasha falls under his magnetic spell. But an old enemy is hunting Damien and will use any means to kill him. Damien pushes Sasha away in hopes of keeping her safe, little does he know he’s pushing TWO AWAY…because Sasha has a secret. She’s pregnant with his baby. Loyalty is tested, Sasha is kidnapped. Traitors are revealed. And Damien comes to the rescue, saving Sasha and his baby from certain death at the hands of his old enemy, Lev. The book ends with Sasha heavily pregnant, the bad guys defeated, Damien bringing Sasha’s overworked mother and younger brother to live with them, and Damien proposing to Sasha.
**THOUGHTS**
Liv Archer writes a fairly low angst, fast-paced, mafia romance well. Sasha is a well fleshed out character. Young but mature. Feisty yet vulnerable. Innocent but eager. Damien is a strong counterpart for Sasha. Domineering and possessive but equal parts caring and considerate. Master of all he commands but desperately spiraling into Sasha’s orbit. There were a few plot twists that were actually not so evident and that helped to keep my attention throughout the obvious plot devices and twist that were really predictable. I enjoyed Sasha and Damien and their banter was not only hot but funny and cute. Although the HEA was in the epilogue I think it would’ve been better if the epilogue showcased Sasha and Damien actually having the baby, or life after having the baby. The way the book ended felt slightly unfinished…but that could also be the fact that Archer’s books are fairly quick-paced, with high wit and low drama.
the beginning was sooo hot!!! Nina, Ryan. & roman ruined it though. their story involvement was weak & flattened the last part of the book. it would have been better had Brittany been the one spilling secrets since she somehow got the bosses number. as for Ryan, would have liked for him to actually have an interest in her & not just be getting close to her for Nina's sake. as for the Nina angle, would have been better as a scorned ex maybe working w/Brittany or something. & throwing roman in there last second is just that, a last second "twist" to surprise the reader. but all it did was annoy the reader because it was too awkward & really didn't make sense for him to turn on the boss.
It started out promising but fell flat. The MMC and the mafia side of things just didn’t do it for me, it was all very meh. But I finished it quite quickly so I gave it 3 stars.
POV: Dual, 1st person. SERIES or STANDALONE: Standalone. TROPES: M/F adult, age gap, mafia, boss/employee romance SIZE: 447 (last page) Kindle pages. CHARACTERS: Damien (early 40s) & Sasha (23)
My Review Overall: ⭐ 2.5/5 Plot: ★★☆☆☆ Female mc: ★★★★★ Male mc: ★★☆☆☆ Side Characters: ★☆☆☆☆
════════════════════════════ “Because this is where it all started for me. In this city. In this life. Every fight, every win, every scar…it led me here. To you.” —Damien ════════════════════════════
I like this book because it starts out fun and pulled me in instantly, but there are also a lot of annoying, frustrating characters. One of the worst is the MMC’s ex. She leeches off Damien for money, protection, and “one last favor” over and over again. She can even come and go from his house whenever she wants, and she keeps manipulating him. I hate that he lets her do all of that. He never sets boundaries with her, she just shows up whenever, and it drives me crazy. And on top of that, he doesn’t even give Sasha real reassurance.
I do love the tension between Sasha and Damien, and it all happens through texting. Even though their conversations start because of a dare involving sexting, they slowly open up about their lives, especially Sasha. They get to know each other beyond the sexting; there’s something deeper there. And not long after, Damien already figures out who he’s been texting and keeps an eye on her.
Then there’s a misunderstanding. After Sasha gives Damien everything, her first time and her trust, she feels completely thrown away when he stops contacting her, so she blocks him. But I love her mindset here: if he really just used her as a distraction, she deserves better. Even though the plot frustrated me, Sasha’s character made it bearable to read.
Later, when Sasha’s safety is threatened, Damien brings her to his fortress-like home where his mother also lives. I actually loved this part because his mother likes her and they get along so well. But then suspicion grows that someone close to Damien is feeding information to the villain. Sasha brings up his ex as a possible suspect, and Damien is completely blind, he trusts the ex without question. His refusal to even consider her as a suspect irritated me SO much. I hate that the author created such an infuriating character who never gets what she deserves. She even gets a free pass at the end because she “helped” find Sasha? The whole thing is dumb. It feels like the author liked her too much to let anything bad happen to her.
Then the problems keep piling up. Damien is constantly making decisions for Sasha, what she can do, where she can go and always “for her safety.” He pushes her away because he thinks keeping his distance will protect her. I hated when he sent her back to her own home because he didn’t want her to be in more danger. It’s stupid. He won’t tell her anything, won’t let her into his world, and then throws her out without a real conversation, all while telling himself he’s “protecting” her. Dumb AF. He pushes her away thinking it’ll help… and then she ends up in the hands of the one man who wants to destroy him. Every decision he makes leads her straight into danger. The plot and the MMC are just dumb.
This book makes me furious because Damien is supposed to be smart, a mob boss and a tycoon, but he’s unbelievably stupid when it comes to his ex and pretty much every major decision in the plot. And he doesn’t even have a real security team and an army? A mob family with no actual protection? Please.
Thank God I like Sasha, because she’s not dumb. She’s smart, she thinks for herself, and the only thing holding her back is her trauma from her father. She’s afraid of Damien partly because he reminds her of her dad, so she’s constantly wondering “what if” when it comes to him. But luckily, later on he proves that he’s nothing like her father.
And the ending does ease my frustration a bit, because I actually liked how it turned out. They build a happy family together, and Sasha even gets to live with her mother and little brother in their home.
Overall, I liked it but also hated it. I enjoyed reading it, but the plot was full of dumb, irritating choices. So I wouldn’t really recommend this book.
💌 Main characters: Sasha Caldwell Damien Zaitsev — early 40s A Baby on the way
Super cute, maybe a bit unrealistic, but who doesn't love a obsessed mafia baby daddy, am I right... No, but it was actually a really sweet story about Sasha, who works in this big company and is forced to send a dirty text to a random number because of a dare. But instead of ignoring the text she gets a message back and the game is on. On the other side of the phone is no other than Damien Zaisev, not just the boss of Sasha but also the head of the Bratva. After giving him more details about her life, Damien soon realizes that Sasha is closer than he thought. A meeting with the big boss and Sasha is surprisingly expected and then boom the unknown number is known and it is no other than her captivating boss. The story continues with a lot of hot HEA and unexpected surprises.
In overall the story and characters were pretty great and I devoured the book in one single day. However there were a few things which annoyed me: First of all, the most obvious, what is the possibility that a MAFIA boss answers an unknown dirty text message, I mean sorry but hasn't he any rivals and enemies??? Second, why is he never questioning if Sasha is a mole and she is trying to get near him by texting and pretenting to be clueless ( I mean she is a NEW employee and has his number -> he never even asked how she got it) Third the whole ending was pretty unrealistic, I mean everything just fit too perfectly, in my opinion
but heyyy I know it's a book and not everything has to make sense, maybe he is just a really bad in the whole mafia part (and maybe I have read to much mafia books....) but nevertheless I still loved the book.

This book had me hooked from the jump!! I didn't expect it to just make me burn page through page, time blurring by.
Sasha is just trying to survive her date entry job. She had no idea she'd run into the man of her dreams on an elevator she shouldn't have been on, and runs like a scared animal. then after taking more than her fair share of bullying for a workmate she is giving a dare to text a random stranger something sexy.
She had no idea the girl set up with the CEO's number. These two fall hard and fast behind the phone screens. The connection they make it fast and a great read!!! It make you turn page to page to hear their conversations. They are funny, witty, sarcasm on POINT, but also hot, sexy, and naughty. It makes the book fly.
I love that Damien finally figures out who she is, and is so distracted he is losing focus of his job and his responsibilities. He def have those touch her and die vibes that make us woman swoon. They finally get together its hot, electric, and such the rewards for reading this excellent book.
This is a fire read that you will burn through it, and enjoy every second of it!!!!

Sasha is funny, sarcastically quick-witted, and won't let anything go without understanding 'why' it's happening. Damian is older, surly, meticulous, and operates with authority, no questions allowed. Until they meet. He makes her a nervous blundering wreck. And when dared to sext a mysterious unknown number, her labido and insatiable sharp tongue both amuse and deeply intrigue him. The cat and mouse strategies to figure out who one another is eventually brings them together to face many scenarios in one another's worlds. There are a few quick change-ups during the story with secondary character motives that make the reader teeter on the believable side of those characters' actions, but otherwise the book is very well written with no lagging in the storyline. The reader can easily feel the character's intense emotions of humor, angst, anger, falling for one another, and let's not forget the incredible spicy scenes that make you need to catch your own breath.
Holy moly!!! ALL the feels in this one peeps!!! If you want a passionate, sexy, suspenseful, frustrating, complicated and beautiful roller coaster of a ride then dive in…looking for slow gentle tubing journey on a lazy meandering river??? Take a pass😉
Damien and Sasha are amazing together. She is the perfect sassy, real, no frills, sneakers with ball gown wearing girl to wake him up, shake him up and make him FEEL…And he is the sexy, bossy, sometimes feral, always controlling, and forever protective and loving man that she needs to show her that real, good love IS REAL🥰😍🥰🤗🥹…And can be scorching too🔥🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️😉.

I had to deduct from the 5⭐️. I give it to 4.75⭐️I rounded up to 5⭐️though. I loved the story and the characters in it.all of my favourite tropes were in it. So why not perfect? Because the push away from H.seriously? Did it really need it? It just didn’t fit into his personality.he was possessive, obsessive and protective. So I didn’t think he would push her away not even to protect her. Anyway this was the only thing that annoyed me. Otherwise a very enjoyable read. It could be this years favourite so far but the pushing away 😒 I will probably still re-read it though. It was really well written.
Sasha and Damien have an unconventional start to their relationship. Sasha is just a corporate drone and Damien is the CEO of the company she works for. Worlds apart, Sasha and Damien should not be made for each other, but they absolutely are. Damien is searching for a traitor in his operation, but it really surprised me when I found out. This book was exciting and I am glad that it ended with a happily ever after.

However it is them that continue. I liked how Damien tracked down Sasha and they start a real relationship. However his past causes problems and Sasha is put in danger. I liked how all the players both good and bad were revealed and the bad dealt with. Damien and Sasha are now free to love and become a family.
Sinfully intoxicating romance book that is an out-of-this-world hot and romantic must-read book by Liz. I loved everything about this book the characters are perfect and the chemistry they end up developing is not only HOT but very AMAZING. I will say that you might find yourself sleep deprived for a few days because this book is EXTREMELY difficult to put down and once you decide to get some sleep all you might find yourself dreaming about Damien which is a very good thing to dream about.
Sasha attends a party and is dared to sext a random number by a coworker. Later the sext is answered (by Damien her boss), and the connection continues. Damien finally figures out who she is and forces an encounter. Danger ensues when he has "family" problems. This humorous steamy age gap story is a page turner with twists. Loved it!

What a wonderful story about opposites that actually do not belong together but still fit together perfectly and that is the story of Damien and Sasha they have to do with each other because she works for the company where he is the CEO. There is tension, drama, and the search for a traitor in the company and enough romance. A real must read.

When the book 1st started I was confused thinking it was a book about the brava. But then as I got into the story with the twist and turns it all made sense. The Characters that the author wrote fit perfectly into the story they were spot on. The little jokes back and forth Throughout the story Was at just the right time in the story. It got a little tense and then there was humor to me that makes a perfect story.
I really enjoyed this book—it was super well written. I loved how the characters’ backstories were detailed enough to feel real but didn’t drag on. The steamy scenes were definitely hot, but still left plenty to the imagination, which I liked. There wasn’t a ton of drama, and it ended with a satisfying happily ever after and no cliffhangers, but it still made me want to read more about the main characters.
Sasha is dared to send a risqué text to a stranger. What she didn’t know was it would change her life. Receiving a mysterious text sends Damien into an unknown emotional path that was intriguing and entertaining to read. It was hot and steamy with an added layer of danger, drama and fun. It was a great read!.

This book has everything. It has attraction, steam, love and loads of danger. The MMC is all that a Bratva man should be. Sasha is feisty and just what Damian needs in his life. He brings loads of danger into their lives when someone from his past comes after him. I highly recommend this book to all dark mafia/bratva romance readers.

I like Damien and I like Sasha. I love how their relationship starts and builds and the chemistry between them. The plot is also good and I enjoy the boss/employee trope but to me the whole mafia side felt a bit forced and I know I would have loved the book it if was just a simply office romance. However, overall, the book is good and I enjoyed it, especially the ending!.

It started off great. I loved the banter I loved the over protective asshole, and the whole touch her and die thing. The ending sucked. I wanted more of that over protective bratva boss and not a shell of him, they may find love but you don’t make them less of themselves. Since when do we let the bratva boss give his love a choice about anything?! I was and still am frustrated…
This story was a riot to read. Although it is a Bratva romance it focuses more on Sasha and Damien's romance ups and downs. And it delivers an entertaining story. Sasha is a riot by Damien likes that about her. Hot, with drama, and a nit of trouble to add some fun to it all. Enjoyed it and had me laughing loudly at times.
Sasha and Damien have no idea they are texting one another at first. She's a lowly employee that spends her workdays staring at PowerPoint slides and excel sheets. He's the CEO of her company and the head of the Bratva. Needless to say, they're a world apart. I expected a bit more spice but wasn't terribly disappointed. The formatting needs some work I think. Nearly every sentence was its own paragraph and that got old rather quickly. The conflict as per usual comes down to lack of communication or inability to open up which is common these days. Easy read with just enough oomph to keep the story moving along. 4 stars.
This is my first read by this author and was not disappointed! I loved the chemistry between Damien and Sasha from the start. Who would think one prank text would end being life changing and finding the love of your life! Liz Archer you have a new fan and I look forward to reading more books in your catalog!
