So first things first.

Don’t read this book if you like stories about cheating, conniving wives who disrespect their husbands. Don’t read this book if you like stories about normal wives who turn into raging sluts over a couple of paragraphs.

However, do read this book if you like stories about loving committed couples who are willing to test their sexual boundaries in order to revive the passion that has dimmed over the years.

Do read this book if you like thoughtful realistic dialogue between husband and wife as they cautiously step into uncharted territory and test their sexual boundaries and strength of their marriage.

I have been reading this genre for years and I say, without reservation, that this is the MOST REALISTIC portrayal of wife sharing that I have ever read. You have to be patient because the first two thirds of the book is a slow but steady build up of sexual tension. But the payoff is well worth the wait.

So, no, it’s not chocked full of wanton sexual scenes. But I found it to be highly erotic because of the believability and well developed plot.

Rekindling her desire

Sharing Sarah is the first book in the Shared Wives series. This book is a lot longer than the author's usual stories, so I was not sure what to expect as sometimes changing lengths does not work. But as usual the story is still smoking hot, sensual and fast moving.

At thirty-nine, Sarah has what many would consider a peaceful and idyllic life with her professor husband, Tom. Yet when she looks back on the dreams and aspirations of her younger self, maybe it’s too peaceful…not so idyllic. While she’s not upset by the road she took, what about the roads she didn’t? When a professor exchange program with Oxford University brings a younger man into her world, Sarah is presented with a choice and an opportunity to take one of those roads not taken. While Tom supports and encourages her exploration—even as he struggles with his own emotions, he is hopeful that road leads her back to her full self and the place where their love burned bright.

I have been reading Raven Merlot’s short-format erotic stories for some years now. They’ve always been hot and very enjoyable, but many times I just wished there was more to them. Sharing Sarah is the first novella-length piece I have read from Raven Merlot, and the added pages allow her to build tension slowly, deepen her characters and explore their experiences more thoroughly. All of which she does splendidly. The descriptions are rich and the characters engaging.

As much as I’ve enjoyed Merlot’s shorter stories, I enjoyed this novella even more. I look forward to reading the next book in the Shared Wives series.

Very interesting book, about a man a woman and another man. Sarah is in love with her professor husband but feels she is not seen as person and beautiful woman, but as the wife of her professor husband. They have a good life but one that lacks the thrill it once did. Toms love making is good but his ability to set her on fire like he once did is missing. They have a comfortable relationship.

Enter James, a visiting scholar, who realizes just how amazing Sarah is and is physically and emotionally attracted to her. The story goes through the emotional questions they all have and if they proceed on their feelings or not.

Have to read the books to find out what happens, only wish the end better defined what happens down the road.

I enjoyed reading this book that is full of passion and spice. I enjoy this author's creativity with her plots and characters. This book is no different. The characters are relateable, connectable and had me wanting more. I enjoyed how the author used details to make the story come to life and a realistic feel. There is great growth and attraction with the characters which made the story easy to read. I found this book to be well written in which I read in one sitting. I really enjoyed this book. WOW! This story is exceptionally real!

I have to say, that many people will relate to Sarah and to Tom!
Coasting through their marriage of sixteen years!

Comfortable.
Staid.
The Same.

But both have come to the realization that it isn't enough.
They're going to take the chance to find what they had in the early years!

Will it work out for them?
Or, will the experimentation bring about real change.
Change neither expects!

Highly emotional.
Very real.
Amazing read!

This story is about Sarah and Tom, wife and husband, who both feel something is missing in their marriage and their quest to get it back. I enjoyed seeing Sarah and Tom discuss their issues and the conflict they both had before taking the step. I like that James respected their marriage, included Tom, and checked in with Sarah throughout the interaction.

Very Nice Story

This is a very good story. Its only problem is that it’s too short. Because of that the storyline is compacted and everything progresses at a rapid pace.

Meet man at party, meet man at library, have man over for dinner (with husband), have sex (in front of husband)!

But the strength of the story is the back and forth between husband and wife leading up to everything.

Very nice.

If you like emotion with your sexual story, then this one might satisfy you.

Another good story in the Shared Wives series by Ms Raven M. This one is about an older wife, married to a university professor, who has lost her identity. At a Uni function, she meets another professor who flirts with her which, in turn, ramps up her husbands attention and from that meeting, things move on pretty fast to the ultimate conclusion. No humiliation, just fun all round..

Almost, if not entirely, AI written

Not as good as the other works from this author. Far too much reliance on AI. Very little tension. Characters feel like they are just going through motions.

Tom is a university professor and Sarah is his wife who gave up on her graduate degree when she got married. Sarah comes to the understanding she has lost much of her personal identity while become Tom’s wife. She has become the “professor’s wife” and feels she no longer is seen as an individual. This revelation occurs after a faculty dinner when she meets and talks to James, a visiting professor from England. He talks to her as an individual, about her major, her thesis, her ideas. He likes her for who she is. They spark. A few days later he visits her, and they kiss. These actions rekindle a flame under her and Tom’s stagnant marriage She is completely honest with Tom and over the next few days they talk about how she sees herself, boundaries, and how James fits in. They invite him to dinner and they both make love to her. This book is mostly about how the married couple looks at their relationship and emotions. This is an exceptional read and is NOT like other Hot Wife books.
