The argument? Legendary.
Their chemistry? Unforgettable.

Jules Ellison and Zaire Wynn were once the hottest creative duo in the city—until betrayal and heartbreak tore their joint art project, Frequency, and their friendship apart. Now, a year later, fate brings them back together for one night in his high-rise apartment… and the silence between them is louder than ever.

But when old tension resurfaces and unspoken truths finally rise to the surface, their war of words turns into something far more desire.

With the city skyline glowing behind them and their past echoing in every glance, Jules and Zaire must confront the love they never stopped feeling—and the pain they never fully faced.

Can a broken rhythm still lead to something beautiful?

Echo is a simmering, ~3,600-word, enemies-to-lovers short romance by Simone Monet—perfect for readers who crave poetic storytelling, emotional intimacy, and heat that lingers long after the last page.

loved it!!

Jules and Zaire’s story was definitely complicated. They started off as friends, made a beautiful piece of art but didn’t really communicate. That made them enemies but once they got their lives together and finally sat down and talked and spoke their truth they became the lovers they always wanted to be.

I love Simone’s style of writing and I think you will love it too. So add this book to your TBR!
