Steam is exactly what it promises to be—a hot, no-strings-attached novella that doesn’t try to be anything more. And honestly, there’s something refreshing about that.

The plot? Barely there. The characters? Names with anatomy. But the spice? Oh, it delivers. This is pure erotica, stripped down and unapologetic, meant to be read in one sitting with no emotional commitment. It’s the literary equivalent of a late-night bourbon: warm, bold, and gone before you realize it.

That said, if you’re looking for depth, connection, or something that’ll linger in your thoughts after the last page—this isn’t it. But if you’re in the mood for a quick, steamy escape with zero pretense? Steam gets the job done.

Not memorable, not moving—but exactly what I expected. No regrets.

Holy guacamole...I was not prepared for this one. Not. Even. Slightly. Prepared. Was this spicy? Yes. Was there plot? Minimally. Did I DEVOUR this? Oh, heck yes.

Fire & Ice definitely took this whole story to a new level and wow. Wow. Wow. That's all I can say. If you're looking for a DARK, spicy novella, look no further.

For what this book is, it’s good—but go in knowing exactly what you’re getting. If you don’t like heavy spice, this is definitely not for you. It’s about 95% spice and maybe 5% plot. That said, I did enjoy the fire-and-ice dynamic and how the characters are willing to do exactly what’s asked of them. Sometimes you just need an unapologetically steamy read, and this one delivered exactly that.

IF THEY'RE IN THE FAMILY TREE, LEAVE THEM BE.

Only putting the step brothers trope on the last page of the book makes me feel sick. Was gonna be generous because this was really good, until the last page.
