I question the high ratings this book has. This book needs to be edited. There are random time jumps and paragraph breaks. The dialogue was cheesy at times or didn’t make sense. (Possible spoilers ahead)
H was 42 and he’s an OBGYN. h is 22 (or 24 can’t remember) h is BFFs with H’s daughter. The book opens with H and h shagging. It’s pretty much InstaLove. I felt a little cringe at times. It didn’t mention condoms
The first half of the book is some weird plot about H and h being stalked. 🤷♀️ I just didn’t care about any of this. It made no sense. I almost DNF right here If anybody cares- it was the BFF’s ex and his brother. Why were H and h being stalked? Who knows? I’ve never read a plot so randomly thrown into a book before as bad as this.
BFF finds out about the relationship between H and h. She is NOT happy. (Honestly, I don’t think I’d be happy either) The BFF accuses her of only being with her dad to get his money and a green card. BFF basically starts to bully h at their college. H tells her he will stop seeing h if she stops bullying her. 🤪 Then H and h start a “secret” relationship (lol except they were not very secretive) Sometimes during smex scenes they mentioned a condom, sometimes not.
At some point, they randomly get engaged. H mentions they’ve only been together for 4 months. They are secretly engaged yet h always wears her ring. 😂😂
Surprise! h is pregnant. He takes her to his clinic for testing (during this we would still have random time jumps. One minute she’s 12 weeks, then the next 20) h’s parents visit. Supposedly, she’s 20 weeks (with triplets. They don’t know that yet) but her parents can’t tell she’s pregnant? Is she not showing? ridiculous 🙃 The parents are okay with the relationship between H and h.
Then h is back at H’s “clinic” and they find out it’s triplets. They have a dinner to tell the family. Naturally, the BFF is still upset. They do have a small wedding.
Okay, now it really goes into nutty land. H delivers his own triplets at the hospital by C-section.Is that even legal? I’m pretty sure that would be against every policy but hey, this book is just blah anyway. Let’s roll with it! Oh yeah, the babies are born at 29 weeks.
BFF visits her new siblings -2 brothers and 1 sister. She’s okay with everything now. 😒😒
He’s my best friend’s dad. Older. A brilliant doctor. Completely off-limits. But somehow, I fell for him anyway.
Dr. Bobby Hayes isn’t just intense—he’s everything I shouldn’t crave. Twice my age. My best friend’s father. The man I should’ve run from the second he looked at me like I wasn’t just a girl anymore.
But feelings don’t care about boundaries. And what started as comfort turned into stolen glances… soft touches… secrets I never meant to keep.
Now I’m pregnant with his triplets. And my best friend still doesn’t know I’ve been sleeping with her father.
He says he’ll fight for us. He says we’re worth it. But how do you protect a future when the truth could destroy the one person you both love?
Three heartbeats. One forbidden man. And zero chance we escape without breaking something.
This contemporary best friend's off-limits forbidden romance is page-turning with exceptional world-building and characters that are alpha, doctor exuding power, captivating, and realistic. Their journey is enthralling with my best friend's Dr. Daddy, explicit romance that is sure to leave readers breathless and begging for more, an age-gap, a surprise pregnancy with triplets, heartfelt emotions, drama, humor, action, adventure, zero chance we escape without breaking something, the truth could destroy the one person you both love, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with my best friend's Dr. Daddy and an explicit romance that will transport readers into a world that is wildly lustful, entertaining, and unforgettable.

OMG what a story. The characters Bobby, Anna, Mary, Emily and a host of others all played such a role in this story. The suspense when they were all being stalked and Mary finally being the one in greatest danger. I could actually feel the danger they were all in. Then when Bobby finally asked Liam for help felt good. It was great how they had the police involved with this situation. After that it felt so sad when Mary became estranged from her best friend and her dad. When Bobby and Anna finally went to Canada and became engaged felt so good. When Bobby took out his credit card and told Anna to bring her parents to America in business class brought tears to my eyes. It felt fantastic when Anna’s parents gave their blessing to Bobby and Anna. The final happily ever after was in the hospital after the babies were born when Mary came in and gave her approval to her dad and Anna and they named the babies. Great story so well written. I would like to recommend this book to all romance readers. One of the best novels I’ve read. I received a free copy of this book and I am leaving this review of my own free will.

My Best Friend’s Dr. Daddy follows the journey of Anna and Bobby. The characters are fabulously written and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between these two characters is absolutely breathtaking and undeniably irresistible. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Anna and Bobby as well as seeing their story unfolding throughout the book. I love that they have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple welcoming triplet babies into the world. Anna is a strong willed woman who is someone who is relatable. Bobby is a fantastic male character who puts his all into his career before being “tamed” by a woman. My Best Friend’s Dr. Daddy is beautifully written, well balanced and perfectly executed by Amelia Perry. She continues to showcase what an incredible author she is with each book I’ve read by her thus far. In my opinion, she pours her all into the books she creates and writes for her audience’s enjoyment. I can’t wait to see what her next book will be about. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

Beautifully complicated and absolutely refreshing read!!
I can not express how much I enjoyed this book. Bobby and Anna had me in a rollercoaster of feelings throughout this book. The idea of having an uncontrollable forbidden desire for someone that you know without a doubt in the end someone is going to get hurt if and when it gets exposed. And you don't give a damn. That is what made Anna and Bobby's situation so intriguing, so raw, so bold and captivating that I found myself rooting for them despite how messy and devastating the betrayal they would commit.
I know they had a huge age gap between them. But the heart wants what it wants and will do whatever it needs to do to get what it wants. Their HEA wasn't paved in gold, nor was it without drama. Hearts were broken, and loves were put on pause. But they both deserved to love who they wanted. And they chose each other. And that ending had me happy and in tears. This book was indeed a pleasure to read. I would gladly and definitely recommend it.
MY BEST FRIEND’S DR. DADDY is an age gap, surprise pregnancy romance by Amelia Perry. It was slow going initially for me especially since I didn’t like the main characters at first. But their chemistry and devotion won me over.
The story is told in alternating chapters by Bobby and Anna. There are steamy moments along with quite a few surprises. There are multiple stories being told and some were scary and frightening in the acts being committed. There is some violence, trust’s broken, romance, vivid descriptions and includes lots of family, loving and ultimately love.
The pacing sometimes seemed off but then would get back on track after a little more action. Sometimes I even looked back at a previous page or two to make sure I hadn’t missed something. There is closure and a happily ever after that was nicely portrayed. The chapter titles gave insight and were a nice addition. Of course, now Anna’s best friend Mary needs her own story told (hint, hint).
I rated the book 3.5 stars but rounded to 4 stars here and on other sites.
Mary had invited Anna to the penthouse for their usual movie night, but she wasn’t there. Instead her dad, Dr. Bobby is by the balcony, his back to her. When he turns, he is surprised to see her too. Apparently Mary had told him to come up to the Penthouse and she would meet him but must have gotten delayed. Anna has known him for 4 years but tonight feels different and her skin tingles. He moves toward her, then asks how college is to make smalltalk. Why isn’t Mary answering her phone? Is she okay? When she suggests he get more sleep due to his busy schedule, he teases her when she blushes. Her pulse increases and she blushes more, and suddenly he is standing very close as they look at each other -- and it doesn’t feel innocent anymore. Falling in love made it difficult enough. Carrying his triplets will make it no longer a secret. And what will it do to her relationship with Mary?
This book was a mess. You can’t tell me that an OB/GYN would not ask about birth control any one of the times they were together, seriously? He should know how babies come to be…also, just everything with hiding from the best friend is a bad idea. Though I know that was really all known going in…
The book also seemed very chaotic. Too much was going on, and it was all rushed. They're being stalked, oh, look at that, found the stalker and took care of the problem. It seems like that could have been an entire book in itself, but it was only a few chapters?
Also, seems like there was absolutely no editing done. It might have been because I was reading on Kindle, but there were spacing issues and issues with capital letters. I haven’t finished the book yet, but between the poor editing and foolish characters, I may not make it all the way through.

Mary messaged her best friend Anna they would meet up at her father's home but after a while it was just her and Mary's father. Anna had always thought that Dr Bobby was very attractive for an older man but he was Mary's farther and he wouldn't be interested in her. One minute they were talking but before she knew it they were kissing and making out, next step bed. Mary never did come to meet Anna and Bobby couldn't get Anna out of his mind, it shouldn't have happened, she was too young. Bobby text her never expecting to get a reply but from then on it was a way for them to make arrangement to meet, but they have to keep things secret from Mary. That is until Mary does find out and all brakes loose.
Dr. Bobby ended up in an unplanned relationship with Anna. Unfortunately, Anna is best friends with his daughter, Mary. This relationship just happened due to a strong attraction. They know they must tell Mary, but also suspect she won't handle it well.
Before they can decide how to handle the situation, it goes from bad to worse. People know who shouldn't know and the situation has gone from anxiety over telling Mary to actually staying alive.
It is a story of attraction, age gap, love, drama, and suspense that brings along a lot of emotional turmoil. The story is well told and draws you in because you want to know how everything works out. What will happen with Bobby and Anna when Mary finds out? A story that includes twists and surprises....never a dull moment.
This book has a good plot. There is a lot of detail and I felt somewhat connected to the characters. I enjoyed most of it, but it could definitely benefit from an editor. There are some significant errors, such as a plot point being revealed twice, that would be resolved with a proper read through before publishing. There are some other issues, such as the flow of paragraphs and sentences, that would benefit from editing. All around, I enjoyed the book, but reading it was difficult at times due to errors and poor flow.

When I first started reading about Anna, her best friend Mary and Mary’s dad Bobby, I found myself mesmerized. This is definitely a romantic page turner of a book that is sinfully hot. I loved the characters and there is something special about reading a medical romance book. I recommend this age gap romance book because it has a great storyline that captures your attention right away. Just be prepared to have your day booked because this read is extremely difficult to put down. Just ask my husband.
-Anna’s forbidden attraction to her best friend’s dad, Dr. Bobby, heats up quickly. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily share my honest opinion.
Their secret relationship simmers with risk, passion, and the thrill of discovery. When danger and an unknown observer enter the picture, everything gets more complicated.
A steamy, forbidden romance where secrets can’t stay hidden for long. I love the addition of the Dutch word meisje at the end. The book seemed a little long to me like it was stretched out.
I made it to 16% before I just couldn’t take it anymore. The typos are crazy and there are whole paragraphs missing, like it’s talking about something and jumps to the conclusions on the subject that wasn’t actually spoken about. So confusing! There are words missing and whole conversations that got skipped over. I really wanted to like and finish this book because it was a good trope…. But I just can’t. I can’t do it. Fix this book, clean it up and try again.
She is his daughter's best friend and the woman that has captured his heart. Bobby wasn't looking for love, but it sneaked up on him after one intimate encounter with Anna. Will their blossoming relationship break apart a father daughter bond and tear apart a friendship. This heartwarming story had me all caught up in it from start to finish.

My Best Friend's Dr. Daddy by Amelia Perry was excellent. I was hooked from the beginning. Anna and Bobby have some twists and turns including an ex boyfriend in their happily ever after, but they overcome it all. Great well written story with string characters. I look forward to reading more of the authors work.

Loved reading the wonderfully written romance story. When Anna goes to her best friend's dad's house, Anna's best friend, Mary, doesn't show up, but Anna and Mary's dad, Dr. Bobby, have an unforgettable passionate night together. Read the highly recommended and must read engaging love story.
I found this was quite a decent plot with characters that have plenty of depth and drew me into their lives. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Overall I enjoyed reading the book. However there are several places where things are mentioned and then later some of the details are changed. Has potential to be 5 star if author made the corrections.
I love reading romances! This one has Turmoil, suspense, family, romance and love all wrapped up in one story. I cried buckets at the last chapter. Please read, Amelia does not disappoint with this story line.
This one's a little longer than I usually do, but I absolutely loved it. The characters pulled me in and wouldn't let go 'til the very end. Very entertaining. Enjoy.
