- Tenley -
He’s baseball’s untouchable golden boy—fast hands, filthy mouth, and a smile that ruins panties on sight.

And I can't stand him.

August Graves is everything I’ve sworn off: arrogant, too charming for his own good, and fully committed to nothing but his stats and sex appeal.

As the social media coordinator for the Atlanta Strikers, I’ve spent the last three years managing his madness and ignoring the way my body reacts whenever he’s near.

But one vulnerable night and a blind decision later… I’m staring down two pink lines and the brutal truth: I’m pregnant. With his baby.

Talk about a plot twist.

- August -
Tenley Abrams is the only woman who makes me work for it.
She’s sharp, stubborn, and beyond radiant. One night with her wrecked me in ways I didn’t see coming.

Now she’s pregnant. And whether she likes it or not, I’m here to stay.
So I move in.

Her rules? I behave, let her manage my social media, and keep it strictly business.
My rules? I work in overtime to make sure she knows exactly what she’s been missing. Over and over again.

Because this thing between us? It was never just one night. And now that she’s mine—really mine—I’m not letting her go without a fight.

beta & arc review:
Indy broke the mold with August Graves. I was hooked on Gus from the mention of his perfectly manicured stache to the swoon-worthy way he pursued Tenley. This is one of my top accidental pregnancy reads to date. HANDS DOWN.

Tenley and August are like fire and gasoline. Their verbal sparring was hilarious but built their sexual tension to extreme levels. These two were perfectly matched, but our girl Ten is an independent woman and she't not looking for a man to take care of her and her future baby. But then, Gus swoops in with his charisma and perfect stache and the girl is a goner. Not gonna lie, I'd be a goner too.

Their journey through Tens pregnancy and their budding relationship was one of growth, trust and love and I was absolutely hooked. I adore them so dang much and I loved seeing the grow together.

If you haven't read anything by Indy, you need to change that! The humor, the emotion and the SPICE. The woman can do it all. I can't wait to see what comes next!!

-accidental pregnancy
-enemies to lovers

e-ARC Review 🩷⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!

What’s sexier than an accidental pregnancy romance with a blond, tattooed, muscled daddy rocking blue eyes and a dangerously hot mustache? Exactly—that’s the exquisite premise of this book by Indy.

This was my very first Indy read and… consider me officially converted. I’m now #TeamIndy and #TeamAccidentalPregnancy for life.

Confession: surprise baby tropes are my absolute weakness. They always come with dreamy heroes—handsome, full of green flags, and often sprinkled with a touch of enemies-to-lovers tension. And this book? It had all of that… and more.

Yes, it’s a slow burn (even with the accidental pregnancy involved). But that’s exactly what made it so special—the conception doesn’t rush the story, it deepens it. I also loved the reverse age gap: she’s 35, he’s 30. And honestly? I didn’t even notice while reading, because their chemistry was just flawless.

I laughed, I cried, I swooned—and I ended up completely in love. This book was simply beautiful. 💖 I want everyone to read it and fall for it just like I did.

ARC review

I loved this book sooooo freaking much.
Everything was so good. Loved the characters, principal and side, the dialogues, the s*x scenes, the atmosphere, all of it.
Tenley was afraid to trust people, it wasn't easy to climb her walls. Despite feeling a connection to August, she resisted that for a long time. And then the pregnancy happened and she had to opened up and reevaluate everything she thought she knew about him.
August was so sweet, from the moment he met Tenley, he knew she was the one. He was willing to wait years for her to be ready and admit she wanted to be with him. He was supportive, never complained, was present, he listened to her.
They were a fantastic couple, their chemistry was HOT and their bickering was hilarious. Just two people who liked each other and instead of doing something about it, decided to dance around the subject for 3 years, my God, lovable idiots, the lot of them.
I adored the book and that's basically it

✨ARC REVIEW✨ 5⭐️ I just love this series so much!! Accidental pregnancy is one of my fav tropes and this is definitely in the top now! Tenley is tired of waiting for things in her life to go the way she wants to she’s taking matters into her own hands. But not before one last night of fun where she finds herself giving into the one man she’s constantly sparring with. When she finds out that one night of fun lead to two pink lines Tenley can’t help but feel a little uneasy but a whole lot of joy for the turn her life took. August has been obsessed with Tenley forever. He loves going back and forth with her and is determined to one day break down those walls. He takes their unexpected surprise as his chance to do just that. Will Tenley give in to the wonderful love story they could create or are her walls too high to ever break down? Oh the banter, the found family, the girl group, everything about this book and this series gives me all the vibes I want in a book! Gus is the typical playboy on the outside but I loved getting to see into the man he truly is. He’s so much more than most people realize and he allows Tenley to see everything there is to love about him. The way he treat his siblings warmed my heart so much. You knew from the moment they were mentioned that he was going to be the best dad to his and Tenley’s baby. Tenley wanted nothing more than a little bundle of joy of her own but I love that she has August to go through all of this with her and show her the love she deserves. The team dynamics her are amazing and you can truly seen how much of a family it truly is especially with the girls there to round out the group. It’s always so fun to get cameos from the other characters in the series and see what’s happening in their lives after their stories. Definitely a book you won’t want to miss!!

Thank you so much to the author for an ARC of Chasing Home! 💙

I have not read any of the other Atlanta Boys books in this series, but now I feel like I need to go back and start at the beginning! Tenley and August had the most unique relationship and their personalities meshed so well! Usually I don’t love surprise pregnancy, but when it’s done well it’s a home run for me 😉⚾️

The tension, the banter, the hormones 😂 all made for a fun and easy read!

A frenemies-to-lovers, surprise baby sports romance with an irresistibly swoony hero, this is a fun, sexy read.

This is the third book in The Atlanta Boys series. I’m a bit of an OCD reader and usually never pick up a book mid-series, but I loved the sound of this story and jumped at the opportunity to read it. There is some character crossover, but you can easily read this one as a standalone.

Tenley is the social media co-ordinator for the Atlanta Strikers baseball team. She has a love/hate relationship with star ball player, August. Of course he’s gorgeous, but he’s a charming, cocky playboy, and everything she’s trying to avoid. He’s totally aware of this and teases her at every opportunity, which creates a fun dynamic full of snark and bickering, and simmering sexual tension. When they finally crack and act on their wild attraction, they vow to forget about their steamy encounter after it’s done, but when Tenley learns that she’s pregnant, August sees this as his chance with the woman he’s always wanted. He declares himself all in, moving in to her home and throwing himself into the role of baby daddy-to-be. All the while hoping to win Tenley’s heart.

“She’s the only woman to ever turn me down, and yet she’s still the only one I see.”

It’s a fun set up, and the story is kept light and entertaining because of August and antics. He flirts and teases, and he loves Tenley’s snark, pushing her buttons at every opportunity.

“Fall in love with me yet?”

Tenley is a hard woman to crack. She’s terrified of being hurt and has huge walls around her, keeping August at a distance and refusing to admit what she’s feeling and what is building between them. God, she’s frustrating. There’s such a great connection between these two, you can feel it, and she just refuses to acknowledge or open herself up to it. I was mad and rolled my eyes a lot at her willful obliviousness. Because of her, the romance is a slow burn, but as frustrating as it is, it allows August the opportunity to shine.

I can no longer focus on my own heart’s protection when the woman beside me needs it more than mine ever could.

We all love a hero who is whole-heartedly in love with his girl, and August is just gorgeous. He is what I enjoyed the most about this book – his huge heart, great sense of humour, his patience and care with Tenley, balanced with his determination to break through her walls, and of course his swoony declarations and dedication to her and their baby.

“There’s no other option but to love you, Tenley. You’re my home.” I cast my eyes to her stomach … “I’ll love you both until there’s nothing left of me. I promise you that.”

There’s a bit of baseball action which, as an Australian, didn’t mean much to me, but I enjoyed the team camaraderie and the involvement of the couples from earlier books, and the story ends with a sweet and satisfying happy ending.

3 stars.

Protect Home was such a great book to read, it had one hell of a hooking plot and the characters Tenley and August were just on some other level. It is safe to say that Tenley and August's love story did not come easy in the slightest, Tenley had quite the grudge towards August and despised being near him or alone with him, August on the other hand craved it.

To say there was some tension in the air between them is a massive understatement and you will get what I mean if you read the book, you won't regret it if you do! The one thing Tenley wanted more in life was to be a mother and as she is preparing her body to carry a child following a procedure to get her pregnant, August rolls in and things take a different path for them both...

I think my favourite part of this book is August and how forthcoming he can be, some things that he does in the book are so funny and are just exactly what someone with such a personality would do. Both of these characters are so massively misunderstood though and I think that is what made me love the book more, I could understand why their mannerisms were a certain way and I love that in books.

This is the first book I have read from Indy and I can tell you that her selection of tropes sold the book to me before I had even read the blurb, I only really tend to look at the tropes and leave the blurb alone so it builds into the mystery but I so wanted to know what could happen in this book before I recieved it, I am so thankful I got to read this amazing book!!

Absolutely ZERO notes! Indy, I could kiss you on the forehead because this book is fantastic. Absolute perfection and I loved every single second of this book. This was my first book by Indy and she reached out to me to ARC read it and I’m SO glad I did! I was only like 15% into this book and decided I have to read the first two books in this series.

August “Gus” Graves. The man that you are 👏🏻 I am on my knees for you, sir. The misunderstood playboy who was so far gone from the moment he saw Tenley Abram’s. Their relationship is now one of my favorites. Tenley is such a strong FMC and I related to her so hard. The banter between these two was so on point and I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out loud because of it. The tension between these two just added to the spicy scenes in this book and loved every second of it. The mouth on this man🥵 Mama and little venom as nicknames, I’m deceased. My favorite 🫠

The found family in this book was on point. One of the reasons I want to go back and read the first two books in this series. The friendship between Tenley, Kodi, and Navy as well as August and the other Atlanta boys had me cracking up. But also the love the rest of the players have for Tenley as well. Also, August and his siblings. Fucking swoon.

Hands down, best accidental pregnancy book I’ve read to date. I haven’t read many because it’s not my favorite, but this one was written so well. The way this man took care of her and was there for her every step of the way. I am a damn puddle for August. I’d list all the things he did for her but I’m not about to spoil it for you and you have to read it for yourself. I promise you you’ll love it! There were a couple times I got teary eyed too and that’s a rarity for me.

I cannot wait to read the first two books in this series. Indy, thank you so much for asking me to ARC read Protect Home and be all up in your DMs while reading!

This is my first book from this author and I immediately ordered the rest! I loved Gus and Tenley so so much! And I adored the writing so I just know the previous books are going to blow me away as well! Tenley is such a strong FMC! I loved her personality and how confident and sassy she is! I also loved Gus to pieces from the very first time we met him in this story! Such a golden retriever under those playboy allegations 🤭 their tension was phenomenal! I loved the surprise pregnancy! LOVED IT! And the way Gus took care of her? I was swooning uncontrollably!

I devoured this book!
Another brand new author to me, and although it is book 3 in an interconnected series, I wasnt lost and if anything has just made me add the rest to my TBR.

Tenley is a confident, sassy, knows what she wants FMC and will do what she needs to get it.

August is well, chefs kiss! This man is everything and under all his banter is the biggest golden retriever 💖

The chemistry between them both was so on point. As for their banter, I had so many laugh out loud moments and I just honestly devoured every page.

I don't know whats going on in the book world, but all of you incredible authors are writing these swoon worthy blonde MMC's and I am in PANIC MODE!!! I don't do blonde, MMC's but I can't help falling for all of them!!! HELP!!!! 😩😩😩

This is the 3rd book in the Atlanta Boys series...you can absolutely read this as a stand alone, but I PROMISE...if this is your first book of the series that you're reading or your first Indy book in general, you are going to be scrambling to read the previous ones...they are THAT GOOD!

In this book, we are all about August...Atlanta Strikers cocky , ladies man, and all around golden boy 3rd baseman. August and his slutty little mustache are HOT and he knows it!! Lord this man is walking sin 🥵🥵 August is used to getting everything and everyone he wants...except for one person..and that is Tenley.

Tenley is our FMC and the social media coordinator for the Strikers... Strong, independent....literally ZERO TIME for men and their audacity...especially Augusts'. She knows he wants her...because the man is relentless...but she wants nothing to do with him and his playboy ways. Until one drunken night, she lets her guard down and allows herself a night of HOT fun with the man she loves to hate...one condition? It's one night and one night only. They get it out of their system and never talk about it again..easy, right? 👀👀

Yeah...everything seems easy in theory. Then those two pink lines show up and all of a sudden, that drunken night is looking a lot like a lifetime commitment with the man you spend more time verbally sparing with than actual communication.

When Ten tells August the news he is OVER THE MOON! This man is thrilled that his dream girl is carrying his baby and see this as his way to finally prove to her that he can be everything she needs and everything the baby needs. He MOVES INTO HER HOUSE!! Did she ask him to?? NO 😂😂😂 But he does it anyway because he is here to play the role of baby daddy and takes his job very seriously!!! He also is making sure she sees that he is GRADE A boyfriend material...hes basically forcing her to watch him audition daily for a place in her life and heart and its both hysterical and endearing 💙

Ten is a hard nut to crack...her walls are high and strong and she truly pushes August away at every turn. At times it was frustrating....I wanted to shake her and say , LET THIS MAN LOVE YOU!!! But, at the same time I get it. She hasn't had the best luck with love and when you have your walls up like that, it's hard to let them down, and even harder to believe that someone like August is willing and able to be what you need. She keeps her heart guarded and never wants to rely on anyone, fearing that if she does she will be weak and also believes that they will leave...she isn't willing to let herself be vulnerable like that.

But she stood zero chance when it comes to August. This man is down bad for Ten and their baby and he is willing to wait and go as slow as she needs...he will wait forever for her if thats what it takes. This is definitely a slow burn, but a slow burn filled with tension and longing... You get to see the way their relationship evolves and how August is able to bring down Tens walls. You see the love form between them through friendship and then more.

And the spice?? LISTEN! Men with mustaches are ELITE! August is proof of that...We all will probably end up pregnant after reading this book! 😂😂😂 Seriously...they connected physically, emotionally, mentally...all levels...and it made the spice even that much more explosive.

The side characters were amazing, as always. Indy has a way of creating this world of characters that you want to live in and among, and this book was no different. They way they rallied around August and Ten was so beautiful...

Is this book a bit predictable with the tropes and the pattern in which it unfolds? Yes, but who cares. What really makes this story stand out is the characters and the relationship they build....so if you are looking for an accidental pregnancy romance that makes your toes curl and your heart swell, then definitely pick this one up. 💙

Thank you so much to Indy Valentine and The Author Agency for the opportunity to ARC read this beautiful book. 💙

Nothing says swoon worthy like an accidental pregnancy trope!!

This was my first book by this author and let me tell you I’m obsessed. Like I seriously need to go back and read books 1 & 2 in this series. I was worried that since I was starting it here I wouldn’t understand and or catch on but that was not the case at all. This author makes it so easy for you to read this book as a standalone, though definitely read in order if you can. When I tell yall I’m running 🏃‍♀️ to devour the first two I’m literally not joking this book was THAT GOOD!!!

What to expect:
Surprise pregnancy ✔️
Enemies to lovers vibes ✔️
Banter ✔️
Amazing friend group ✔️
Baseball ✔️
Swoon worthy moments ✔️
Slow burn ✔️

August and Tenley have a push-pull dynamic from the get go. Mainly on tenley’s side. You really feel August wanting to get to know her but Tenley has huge reservations as August is the proclaimed ladies man of his team. You almost get this grumpy x sunshine vibes but Tenley is the grump in this scenario 😅

From the start I loved August. I understood his character and loved that he had more layers to him than just being your average ladies man. You really connect with him because he’s just living his life while still taking care of his family, Aka his mom & siblings.

Honestly the amount of times I was cheesing from ear to ear and giggling throughout the book is ridiculous 🤭 I’m really starting to be a huge fan of accidental pregnancy and this book really threw me over that edge. August really made me swooning every page and to have a man like that… so DEVOTED and OBSESSED from the get go really gives me FOMO 🤣🫶

Highly recommend this book and cannot wait to go read more books by this author.

As my first Accidental Pregnancy trope, I was BLOWN AWAY!!!
I ate this up and loved it so so much!!!

This story follows Tenley and August
Tenley is the social media coordinator for the Atlanta Strikers and August is an MLB player for the Atlanta Strikers.
Did someone say WORKPLACE romance
They have been working together for 3 years and they have this Frenemies friendship going on.
August is a total playboy and Tenley hasn’t found her person.
Tenley decides she doesn’t need a man to get what she wants and what she wants is a baby.
So she decides to get intrauterine insemination.
She goes out with the team and coworkers and has a last hurrah before she get the procedure done where she ends up have a one night stand with August, the infuriating, very sexy, mustached, tattooed, baseball player.
A month later when she goes to get her procedure done her doctors say, CONGRATS you don’t need the procedure because you are already pregnant!
And guess who the father is!!

Now she has to navigate being a co-parent with this man she can’t stand who can’t commit to a girl.
Little does she know this man has been PINNING AND YEARNINGGGG FOR HER.
I love this man so much!
The way he steps up and takes care of her!
He truly is a MANNNN
The way they show up for each other!!!
It was so beautiful!
The spice was spicinggggggg
This was also my first ONLY TIP scene and my goodness!!! I need more!

I absolutely love everything about them and this story!

I high highly recommend!!!
I need to go back and read the others and I am so excited for the next one!

ARC review
this might just be our favorite of the series so far, cause baby daddy August Graves is literally the perfect man. mustache and all. and the banter?!!! it was top tier 🤭

our baby mama Tenley is little miss independent with all the black cat energy, but all she’s ever wanted was to be a mom, enough that she is willing to take it into her own hands. but the third baseman of the Atlanta Boys goes and knocks her up during a naughty game of strip bingo before her doctor’s appt.our baby daddy August is all good times and golden retriever vibes. he sees this has his opportunity to break through the walls that Tenley has built around her heart. he knows it’s a marathon, not a sprint and really puts in the work for his little venom 🥹

they both come from very different backgrounds, but at the core of it, they really love their families and it was beautiful to see their journey through and realized they were in fact end game.

and their sexual chemistry was off the charts 😮‍💨🥵 god bless strip bingo for bringing these two together, Apollo is forever grateful 😉

thank you Indy and the author agency for the arc.

This book was EVERYTHING. I seriously can't tell you how much I loved this story. Both August and Tenley were incredible and I loved their journey together.

This surprise/accidental pregnancy has to be one of my favorite ones I've read so far. There was something about their connection and journey that made these two characters feel so REAL. I absolutely adored Tenley. She was strong and independent in every way I love and FMC. She knew what she wanted and she didn't need a man to get it. But lets talk about August... He was EVERYTHING for her. That man worshipped at her feet. The bickering and banter was what made these two sooo good.

I 100% have to go back and read the first two in the series now because I am LOVING the Atlanta Boys.

Ten and Aug are going to steal your heart. This is not your usual surprise pregnancy/baby. Ten or Tenley wants a baby and wants to be a mom. Enter Aug or August or bat boy.

Ten is a strong independent woman and August is the man that is just always there messing with her calling her, Mama. Sometimes when we speak things into existence they happen. August is not what he seems and the way the media has painted him is not who he is now. Now it's his job to prove to Ten that he is a forever kind of guy and the perfect match to her beautiful kind soul that he sees when most people miss it.

I really enjoyed the character arcs and development over the story and how it wasn't solely focused on the baby. It was focused on these two figuring things out together.

Thank you to the author and The Author Agency for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5/5)

Protect Home was such a fun, swoony surprise! This was my first Indy Valentine, and I am officially hooked. I need to go back and read books 1 and 2 ASAP. Tenley and August’s dynamic was pure gold: sharp banter, undeniable chemistry, and the kind of slow-burn tension that makes every page addictive.

Accidental pregnancy is not usually my favorite trope, but this story is easily one of the best I have read. Indy blends humor, vulnerability, and so much heart into this book, and August completely stole the show for me. His devotion to Tenley, every thoughtful and protective gesture, was swoon-worthy in the best way. Add in the found family vibes, laugh-out-loud moments, and plenty of spice, and this book checked all my boxes.

If you love enemies to lovers with heat, heart, and a hero who falls first and hard, then Protect Home is one you should not miss.

Thank you Indy Valentine for my copy of Protect Home. 🤍 I received this book for review, all opinions are my own and given freely.

Protect Home is book 3 in Indy’s Atlanta Boys series. I have enjoyed this series so, so much. Protect Home did not disappoint!

The tension + chemistry between the main characters, Tenley + August, was done so well. Their banter was immaculate. I was laughing out loud so many times throughout this book. Found family once again was done flawlessly which I’ve come to expect from this author. Throw in forced proximity, surprise pregnancy and a man obsessed who falls first… so many wonderful tropes all mixed in for this one. I absolutely do recommend this entire series.

We are back with the Atlanta Boys and we are getting August and Tenley’s story. These two are pure chemistry! She can’t stand him but when one night leads to two lines on a pregnancy stick, August is determined to prove he is all in with the one woman who blew his mind.

This book blew my mind as I went through all these emotions, I laughed, I had tears pouring down my face and I was swooning. The banter between them is fun. And Tenley wanted a baby of her own and was so excited about the unexpected turn her life was taking, the way August was there to support her was everything. The way they grew close and the relationship developed was natural, raw and real.

I wish there was an infinity star option because August Graves is absolutely perfection 😭

First off, he’s always called Tenley “mama” and I’ve never wanted to be called that more in my life than I do now 🥹 he spent so long taking his time and being patient for her to notice him and see how much he’s always cared about her and that’s the sweetest form of love 🫶🏼

Tenley is like so many of us who put on a brave face to stuff everything else in life down but August slowly but surely chipped away at her walls and set her free and became her home 💕

Gosh I’m so sad it’s over and I’m jealous for anyone who gets to read this for the first time ♾️⭐️

I absolutely devoured this book!!

August and Tenley are 🔥

Tenley is a strong independent woman who doesn’t let anyone get close to her out of fear of being hurt.

August is the cocky 3rd baseman who loves to get under Tenleys skin.

After a few drinks one night Tenley throws air to caution and gives in to the tempation that is August Graves and now they’re tied to each other forever.

August takes this opportunity to show Tenley why she should take the risk and open her heart to him.

The banter (or rather flanter) they have is incredible with each giving as good as they get.

“You’re so much more to me now, Tenley. Back then, you were a chase. The woman better than me at my own game. But now, you’re my safe place, my haven. My home. The other half of my soul that I feel reckless without”

I LOVE how much of a simp August is for his little venom 😍

This was such a sweet love story. I loved the banter between August and Tenley, and the way they both got under each other's skin. Their relationship was purely physical from Tenley's point of view, but August had other plans. The spice was so spicy, and it had me blushing. There is an accidental pregnancy trope, and it was done so well. This is my first book by Indy Valentine, and now I need to read the other books in the series.

Thank you to The Author Agency and Indy Valentine for the opportunity to read this early. This was my honest review.

All the characters in this book just made me cringe unfortunately…. They main characters are in their 30s but it read like a bunch of college kids to me and I just couldn’t connect with them. Also even though the FMC was outwardly denying the relationship it still felt very insta-lovey to me which I hattteee

WOW!!! Indy Valentine hit it out of the PARK (see what I did there 😉) with this one! Protect home is full of absolutely hilarious banter, sexy and swoon worthy baseball players and some of the spiciest scenes I have ever read. As soon as I was done with this book I immediately went and read the first 2 and they were just as perfect as this one!

Idk something about this book just didn’t do it for me. The dialogue was flat. I didn’t particularly like the FMC or the “banter” the characters had with each other. They just don’t fit together. It all felt a bit off for me.

First of all Tenley is a great name. August and Tenley were perfect! Add in Apollo and all 3 were perfect. The journey August and Tenley took was so them. The chemistry was good and it was well written.
